[Camera][MOD][MIDO] - Additional features for your MIUI camera (Magisk Module)

I have created a magisk module based on this thread
I went through all the added values and tested all of them, finding that more than half of them are useless/non-functional. Here is the list of added (and fully functional) features in this module;
Note: This will only work on mido (SD) devices. Do not install the module on nikel (MTK)!
(I tested this on the latest MIUI 9 Global (9.0.5.0). I don't know if it'll work on custom roms)
Live HDR, Pro HDR, Auto HDR + Video HDR
Chroma Flash (Removed because front camera didn't work with it)
4K Video Support
Manual Controls (White Balance, Focus, Exposure Time (up to 1/2 sec), ISO)
Torch Capture
Quick Snap
Square Mode
Full Size Panorama
Full Size Effect Photo
100 burst shot count
Expanded ASD (Automatic Scene Detection)

To install, just add the module in Magisk Manager

Edit: Front camera doesn't respond in photo. Already tried meddling with the options, cleared data and force it close but the issue still remain. Can you take a look?

I didn't test the module on other roms. But as far as I know, the file that is modified is used in MIUI only.

Camera collection v2.0: no root needed for AOSP based roms
- Mi A1 Camera
- Mi A2 Camera
- Google Camera
- Snap Camera (Lineage)
- Snap2 Camera (CyanogenMod)
NOT a exclusive Magisk version, it's system flash:
- Magisk provide portrait option on back camera (see above)
Mods by me :
-app launcher name (clear view of what camera u launch)
-app package name (avoid compatibility with another cam app like Gcam)
-authorization process (automatic without crash)
-icons

If you already have Snap camera (lineage) in your custom rom do not select.

-MiA1 and MiA2: Portrait mode back camera not available (portrait mode works on MiA2 front camera)
Rooted users (Magisk 16) version bug :
-MiA1 portrait mode crash (but the picture is OK with blur effect)

Everything is working perfectly. except in "MI stock camera" where the preview is streched vertically, but the photos are good.
BTW, (a noob question) what's the difference between Gcam and aosp original cam? I can't figure why people is preferring the first one!

Go to camera settings > advanced > base settings > front camera > select nexus 6p

You need to enable camera2api for it to work.

I'm using official beta miui 10 pie rom

K, this apk does not work on oreo. I'm on miui stock, cannot even install. I get error parsing apk.

Old+Cam+[5.3.015+v.1.0.14_mod_by_gdb417_alro].apk
you can try the two apk simultaneous (different versions)
for full working all options of settings on Gcam_6.2.030 please see the attached screenshots
if you want go to settings > about to enable advanced settings

No, you have to enable it via build.prop editor.

Which one apk did u use? Are u sure using APK from OP?

Actually,the post should've mentioned that this gcam works fine on AI version. Apparently,the gcams from tigr and marlin-ku has front camera working on 6.x gcams.Arnova fixed the front camera bug and they too rectified it.You can easily download the gcams from celsoazvedo.

Before trying,check if camera 2api is enabled and also make sure to remove all camera related patches from magisk(if installed)

4K recording isn't working either... but then again this is the least buggy port for our whyred(Indian) I have encountered so far.

When I add those two lines into build.prop and reboot the camera the app com.sdgsystems.camera2probe does not change the information about camera capabilities, it still shows
