icolud unlock process have some rules:
-if phone locked on icloud after restore and owner can't unlock it
server do it for him with (18~50$) price is different by model.
-but if the device locked and is in lostmode state that applied from icloud website
by the appleid owner it cant be unlocked
-before unlocking and pay money they check it for you that it's clean or lostmode

It's probably a n00b question so apologies in advance, but if I root / bootloader unlock and Cyanogenmod flash an Android phone that's locked to a certain network, will that network lock be removed along with the official default Android ROM? Or is the lock at something like a BIOS level (or whatever the smartphone equivalent of a BIOS is)?
I bought a pre-unlocked Xperia U about a year ago that I've been using on Vodafone and had to return it under warranty (got stuck in a boot loop despite the fact that it's totally unmodified, not even rooted, honest!) and the replacement they sent back is locked to Virgin Mobile. They're telling me that the phone I sent them was originally sold to Virgin in France and locked to Virgin before I bought it, and that they've therefore fulfilled their responsibility. So I'm just wondering now about unlocking, and I've always been curious anyway about how / if bootloader unlocking, custom ROMs etc are related to network unlocking.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide with this!

well u can unlock it.. by getting the code from sony..
It will also unlock the ph..'s Sim lock..
Or ask the sony officialy for this.. they'll provide u every info required.
But unlocking the bl will do the job for you to be sim free
But do double check this from google too.
Also before unlocking pls make a backup as it will wipe everything from the device.
Just unlock and don't flash any custom kernels. If you want to then do it carefully pls with a backup and a copy of flashable stock rom.
Flash custom roms based on stock kernels
Hope this will answer the query..
Thanks for your reply! I spoke to Sony and they just told me to contact the network (which have done and they're wanting to charge me a fee to provide the unlock code). So to clarify, if I root the phone and unlock the bootloader, the network SIM lock will also be removed?

Also check this that how many times is the code applied for unlocking..it should not be 0
use this *#*#7378243#*#* in dialer
then service info sim lock

When I dial that number, the number just disappears. What is it for? They want £15.32 for the code. Should I just pay them and forget about trying to remove the lock?

Sorry the code is this
*#*#7378423#*#*
check the sim lock counters should be zero in all..
if zero then once u can try googling the code for unlocking if they work then it's great.
if not then it would be better to pay them for this as its a bit risky..
and are u using virgin's network??
As it's cheaper what they areaskingfor i guess.

Buying an unlock code is the only way that I know of - and even that is getting patched by Nokia. We can only hope that Nokia will allow official unlock for this phone soon.

Sorry missing part of the stuff. Need to use a beta version after that to unlock. The are the old instructions are in the link below; the concept is still the same. Anyone can chime in if I'm incorrect.

I don't understand why you guys would buy a TMobile version when there's a global unlocked version available.
There's a guide on here though for a sim unlock. Gotta flash developer version first

This process does not unlock your carrier
This process only opens the boot lock
maorcm said:
This process will wipe your phone. Backup all of your important files before proceeding. This process will not provide you with a T-Mobile SIM unlock either and will not unlock your bootloader for you.

Last I recall, you could unlock your bootloader from the Open Betas.. thought that was still the case

If your device is locked to this sim for iron
There is no solution to opening a provider
If it could be opened
The network lock
It was good for a lot of people
Once the modem is locked there is nothing to do if it is
Also, the network lock cannot be decoded
Bootloader
Easy to open
Convert to international version
Then update Android Q 3 through a local upgrade
DP 3
fastboot OEM unlock
A local upgrade way to get back to the old rom

If anyone here was posting
A modem that is unlocked
Maybe it was possible
Burn on the device
Need some tool to decode the network
-------------------------------------------------
I tried
To change
imei
To the device
No software does that
Once it is possible to change to imei device
This is another kind of solution for one Plus fans

I know a eBay seller that’s able to unlock Oneplus 7 Pro that are T-Mobile locked no matter the account status once it’s not blacklisted on the imei or has fraud on the account

could You pm please, who can help me to unlock OnePlus 7 pro T-Mobile. Thanks
{Mod edit: Quotation repaired}
Can someone explain whether process I go through on tmobile to unlock the bootloader? With the oneplus 8, I had to have 3 months paid off first and from there I could get the unlock code. Is it the same with note?
Thanks
I would also like to know that.
Hopefully someone can enlighten us on that
That was years ago particular with one plus, they don't have a say anymore with these phones.
You have to pay to get it unofficially unlocked.
Search the forums, I don't know if we're allowed to post pay for unlock link even if theyre on xda.
Also, if your phone is still sim locked and you unlock the bootloader, it will remain sim locked. Only T-Mobile can sim unlock it and if you do sim unlock after you unlock your bootloader, it will relock your bootloader and it's stuck as locked forever.
So I'd sim unlock your phone before paying to bootloader unlocking it.

Thanks coilbio,
That was helpful and appreciated.!
can you please clarify what do u mean by unlock?
If you need to unlock ur phone(network unlock) so that it can be used on any network then u can contact Tmobile to unlock your phone. You can contact Tforce on twitter to get ur phone unlocked. I was able to do that thro them.
Hi mindseye0803,
By unlock, I meant bootloader unlock,. My bad for not being specific on that.

Thanks bro, much appreciated.
I need a Token to unlock my TCL 10L but the server is offline and TCL won't turn it back after being asked a couple times to do it by me :/
Here's a thread about the topic
Is it technically possible to make my phone connect to a fake server created by myself from which I can bruteforce the token code unlock?
Or to use a emulator of my phone on my computer and run it?
TCL doesn't give any help regarding unlocking the bootloader so we're by ourselfs. It's the only way to unlock it AFAWK

All I can say is good luck, pretty sure you won't find an answer to this. Each device has it's own unlock method, if that method isn't available then yuh out almost certainly won't be able to unlock it.
Try contacting the manufacturer or your mobile carrier.
Contacting the manufacturer is in vain, they have been very clear, they do not accept bootloader unlock request. I have an Alcatel 1B 5002 which I have not been able to unlock.
