It's 8.0.0 oreo but I have it stuck in factory mode, and need to flash it again with the firmware but can't find it anywhere. If you could help me thanks I'd appreciate it!

I stand corrected. I'm a bit 2. I will update the OP tonight
Any chance of getting either asc1 or asd1 for the j337vpp please? This phone I have is on J337VPPVRU2ASC1 , So believe those are my only options correct?
Will this work with my J3 with an ASE1 firmware? Or is there a different file?
Which combo do I use for j337vppvru7btg2?

Good afternoon,
Sorry to take away your time, but I would like to kinly ask if anyone knows a website or database from which I can download a
bootloader for the J710MN variant, as it is almost impossible to find one on the internet.
Your help would be much appreciated as my phone is bricked to oblivion due to extreme curiosity.
Thanks a lot!

No, not yet. And when i start up the phone, and all it does is show a black screen with a samsung logo and stays that way.
Try entering recovery (Vol up+Home+Power), see if it says there on the bottom something like DM Verity failed.
If it does and the phone was rooted before (Knox something else than 00 in DL mode), just flash CF autoroot for your model, or some other kernel for your model, you can find it here or google it.
If it does and phone is stock (Knox 00), I would try Authorised Samsung repair shop, and ask them to fix it in warranty.
Thank you I have recently fix my phone. Thanks for everyone's help.

Download this file it's kinda big because it's a stock firmware. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AtUOJHO1Ks7cgTeMnlD2_XOPr1xT and there should be 4 files in it and you put these files into Odin. And in the beginning of the file names should be like AP,BL,CP and CSC. Once you put the right files in the right place click start and it should fix the problem.

I don't think you can still check sadly...
Maybe the boot.img doesn't change through the firmwares but i'm not sure about this...
I would suggest you to do a rollback to get to the stock firmware
But wait, maybe a more competent person will have a better solution for you.
By curiosity were on Android 6.0 or 7.0?

Android 7.0. Will doing a rollback wipe data?
Yes, doing a rollback will wipe all your data...
I guess your phone was up to date?

Didn't work :/
Sadly, I expected it a bit...
What you need to do is to find the latest firmware for your phone (supposingly your phone was up to date) and then extract the boot.img with HuaweiUpdateExtractor.
Otherwise you need to do a rollback and get back to stock firmware...
Also you can wait for someone with better acknowledge than me to help you.
Good luck!

Hi:
This is an old post, but just curious about the firmwares for frd-l14 at romfirmware.com. Is it a trustworthy site? Seems a little sketchy. Wanted to make sure before I download anything.
Thanks
So I know this is the wrong area but s6 forums are dead so I was hoping someone could answer a question here. What I wanted to know was that I am on nougat right now and I was thinking of installing a custom rom that was a lower android version. I am rooted and know all the steps to do it but was unsure if that would brick it by having a different version on it. And in case you wonder why it is because I wanted to use unlimited hotspot and have not found a way to do so with nougat but many ways to do it on older versions plus I could use foxfi. So please no bashing just a guy looking for answers is all. Thank you for your time.
Last thing I am on metro pcs but it is a tmobile version. I also do the stock 6.0 version to flash it
Anyone
Why don't you just try it if the worst comes to the worst just flash your latest Android version with Odin

Thanks in advance, a Goog Search provided nothing but scammy lookin' pay sites.

I no longer have the phone but from what I recall (and can see on my external drive), I found the firmware using the samfirm tool.
https://samfirmtool.com/samfirm-v0-3-6
If not familiar with it there's a few good guides to follow. Google samfirm-guide
Some may say it's deprecated but it still worked for me. Have used it a few times of late.
Still looking
Still need that j737v u5 combination file if anyone
update ........ https://drive.google.com/open?id=1KjiWivA3A0EUqUeVTp-lV4stGtUXslX0
change to a .tar file will work flawlessly
