There's a zip ruu link...don't remember in which thread...
or install first 1.24.401.2. You will restore stock recovery and rom and then OTA 1.24.401.7 will come.

Hello, how can I reflash the stock JB rom to my One S S3? I have flashed Superboot for Ville c2 in order to root and try changing the CID, but I couldn't change it... So I flashed back the stock boot.img in order to unroot and then relocked the bootloader. Now I'm on stock recovery and relocked bootloader. I have the OTA package: OTA_VILLEC2_U_JB_45_S_hTC_Asia_TW_3.14.709.102_16.22.20.03U_16.11.20.24_M_release_303237zzidki5gzxfkv5gs.zip.
Please help me to flash it so I can be sure that I'll get future OTA updates!
Also I don't want that SU application which appeared after flashing the Superboot for Ville c2
Thank you in advance!
Anyone...???

If you have Stock ROM with Stock recovery and you want tu update your phone, go yo About-->Software Updates section and Check Updates. This will prompt the updates you have.
if you want uninstall SuperSu, do a Factory Reset, this will erase all your phone (Make Backup Before).

I'm already on stock JB and the Check for Updates is not an option for me... I did a factory reset, but SuperSu is still there, so I want to reflash the rom... How can I do it?
guess, you have to wait when someone do a proper JB RUU. I need it, as well.
Hi,
Let me tell first introduce my phone to you. It's an HTC One S T-mobile version US.
The thing is is that I wanted to get JB on my phone, but couldn't keep waiting for the OTA. So I decided to root my device.
Here's what I did :
- unlock bootloader & root (still S-ON)
- changed the CID to HTC_203 (to get an OTA, stupid move from me)
- downloaded the JB ROM (Trickdroid V 9.1.0)
but I accidently removed the backup of the stock ROM of my device (which now doesn't have a TMOUS010 CID or something like that).
I then flashed the Trickdroid ROM (V 9.1.0) but had wifi issues as my hboot wasn't appropriate for this update. I could only flash the
Trickdroid ROM V7 for T-mobile versions of the HTC One S.
And now that the JB OTA update is available for T-mobile, I would like to install it on my device but I can't.
I have tried to install with the RUU but to no avail (I think that it might be because I changed the CID).
I have even downloaded the T-mobile JB zip file ROM but it isn't like the common ROMs, i.e. the zip file (let's call it zip file A) contains :
FOLDERS : META-INF
system
firmware (a compressed folder - in which the boot image is found I guess) (let's call this one zip file B)
FILES : fotaBoot
skin_fota
I have tried to install it using TWRP by flashing zip file A, but in vain. I have even tried to extract the folder so that I could flash zip file B,
but to no avail either. I couldn't found the usual boot.img file.
And now I am back to square one, as I am waiting for Trickdroid to bake into the official T-mobile JB ROM.
CONCLUSION :
I would like to install the T-mobile JB update on my device (which is indeed a T-mobile version). Did I mention that I live in France ? Does
this change anything in my case ?
Can anyone please help me ? I spend all of my free time looking for a solution on Google, but I haven't found anything yet.

id say SuperCID your phone then S-OFF once your s off when in fastboot do the comand "fastboot oem writecid TMOUS010" this will bring you back to your old cid BUT id recommend doing "fastboot oem writecid HTC__001" as this is basically for unlocked phones and if you stay supercid DO NOT TAKE THE OTA JB UPDATE YOU WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE !!!!!!
superCID (11111111)
and because your s off you can run any RUU id recommend running the latest unbranded RUU as that will have JB
that my advice ive got a similair sitution to you apart from i want to stay rooted
dont forgot to use the thanks button if i helped :0

whats your hboot version? (check in bootloader)
already changed the cid back?
you know there is a tmous ruu that contains the latest jb update??
http://bugsylawson.com/files/file/1...531-10305008l-release-309489-signed-ics-2exe/
you have to flash firmware.zip from fastboot.
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
fastboot oem boot
Whenever you have wifi problems on sense ROMs, flash the attached zip and voila. You can use any rom now, not specifically T-mobile one.
I own a same t-mobile one.

A few questions...is this based off of the stock OTA for the international or developer edition of the M7? And if so, does the AT&T edition (which is what I have) use the same base for their stock ROM? I'm currently on ARHD 71.1 and waiting patiently for an update to 4.4.3, but also am wondering if I should wait for the official OTA from AT&T, so that I can get the firmware meant for my phone, before upgrading to 4.4.3, which is what I did with 4.4.2, before flashing ARHD. Also, do you know if the stock recovery you attached above is the same one that would be on a stock AT&T M7? I've been trying to be careful and only receive the firmwares officially through OTA, before flashing a custom ROM based on a base that's compatible with my M7, but I'm wondering if I'm being too careful. I also have 3 different stock recoveries for my M7, but am not sure which is the most current and for the version of the M7 that I have, in conjunction with the ROM base, or if that matters. Sorry for being so inquisitive.

*is this based off of the stock OTA for the international or developer edition of the M7?
Yes, this is based on Stock WWE firmware.
*And if so, does the AT&T edition (which is what I have) use the same base for their stock ROM?
I am not sure about the base. but yes, AT&T may be using the same base and adding their own features on top of that! or may be HTC make separate software build for that.
* I'm currently on ARHD 71.1 and waiting patiently for an update to 4.4.3, but also am wondering if I should wait for the official OTA from AT&T, so that I can get the firmware meant for my phone, before upgrading to 4.4.3, which is what I did with 4.4.2, before flashing ARHD. What I recommend: wait for the official upgrade from your AT&T carrier so that you don't put yourself in any trap!
Regarding your firmware doubt: No, my attached file was only for new software 6.09.401.5 which is Android 4.4.3

Guys, previously by mistake I posted a recovery for latest firmware: 6.09.401.5, which was latest.
But If you're on Android 4.4.2 then you need recovery for 5.11.401.10(or according to your software version) so that your stock OTA can be flashed.. sorry for inconvenience.

No harm at all provided you are on stock recovery and haven't modified system in any way.
