Great job, but your app keeps triggering an annoying message 'check your internet connection' pop up.
Thats because Im rooted with adblock and you are trying to load some ads.
Only uninstal makes it go away, so uninistalled and not tested.

Does this work on a stock p20 pro? Is there a basic guide for noobs like me?
Thank you. If it is a good app, I always pay in app to remove ads. Maybe consider this option? Up to you, bro.

Just disable adblock, reboot, open the app - then choose your customisations and install. Once the HWT is in your Huawei themes app - you don't need to open the downloaded app again so you can enable adblock again. You just need to keep the app installed for the substratum side of things.
Just support the developer, man. It's a small price to pay (literally a second of your time) to get one of the only full themes (including noti panel, settings) available for EMUI 8.1

This is awesome, great work!

I tried to use this app on my L29 but with very little success. The only thing that seems to change is the icons in settings, they become grey. The quick settings don't change at all, (and that's what I wanted to change the most!) Do I need to use a specific Huawei Theme?

It's a little buggy but it works. @36chambers helped me through the the steps.
1. Download Hamzio's theme from the play store.
2. Open the app you just downloaded.
3. Apply the settings you like, icons, colours etc.
4. Make sure you choose storage folder EMUI 8.X right at the bottom of the page.
5. Press continue
6. It will tell you to wait for the packing to complete. Give it some extra time.
7. Press the button that says open theme app (Huawei theme app). Do not go back to customise page here. This will now take you to the Huawei themes app.
8. Go to the 'me' tab at the far right of the Huawei themes app and check for Hamzio's theme that you downloaded from play store. Choose this theme.
9. I found that Hamzio's theme doesn't always show up in the Huawei themes app immediately so allow for it to show after a moment or so. I normally force close the Huawei themes app if this happens and wait patiently and do the whole process above, again.
10. It WILL show in the list eventually. Just click on it to choose it. It will apply your changes.
Now to get your notification panel icons and system settings page to look themed, you need to download Andromeda, substratum and the PC Andromeda client. Enable USB debugging on your phone in developer settings.
The step by step instructions for the androm-substratum process is available as a pinned message on the Telegram group Hamzio created just for his themes. Follow those steps and you'll have a fully themed OS on your P20P.

Hi there,
First thanks for all your work with the 8.1 substratum themes. I'm looking for the possibility to change the white background of the notifications in the header under the quick settings panel. Do you know if it's possible?

[APP][2.3.3+] Devbro Appdrawer 1.3.280

Introducing Devbro Appdrawer by me(Devbro)
What is it?
This is a appdrawer replacement. In the normal appdrawers that exists right now, you can only organize your apps in generic ways(alphabetically, more recently used,...) or in folders that make accessing your apps one step further to reach. No more worries. Devbro Appdrawer now fixes this problem. You can organize your apps in folders and swipe to access them. It can be easily replaced with all general appdrawers, just replace the shortcut in go launcher, ADW launcher and etc. Or you can create a shortcut to it for daily use.
What else can it do?
You can organize your folders in whatever customized order you like. It is also possible to uninstall or view each app's info just by long clicking on the icon.
What is the cost?
It is free. No catches of any kind.
What are the permissions for?
I am looking to see how my app will be used by other people. So There is a small code that send me a list of your folders and how you organized them. There is also a list of how you ran your programs.
All data that are being sent are generated from within the app. nothing else is sent. If you do not like the idea you can simply disable it from the settings menu. If you like to do this manually, there is also an option for it in the settings.
sdcard access is needed for backup and restore
Do you like my app?
If the answer is yes, then just use it and tell your friends about it. You can also give it 5stars in the market.
Do you have a suggestion/Did you find a bug?
Just post it here and I will look into it. Thanks in advance.
Do you want to help?
As per suggested, I need a new icon. If you have seen one that I can use post a link here please.
Which feature that you like to see next?
1. dark theme, theming options - done
2. customizable icons
3. new app folder
4. other language support
Where Can I get it?

I am glad to hear I haven't done any major testing on 4.2 yet. Are there any problems?
Good idea! It works fine in my Galaxy s3 with mihome launcher. My feedback is this:
1) app icon should be more like a generic launcher icon. Current icon isn't representative of what most people are used to looking for an app drawer.
2) hide the title bar so it feels more like a native app drawer. Maybe even give the option of a transparent background.
3) default black theme looked ugly because the folder label had a white background. How about making the folder label background transparent and underlining the name instead?

I am seriously considering all your good advices. I am not a graphic designer, it takes longer to come up with more effective graphical designs. Creating icons are not easy it may take me a little longer to create or find one.

[NO ROOT] Android L softkeys for LG G2

Hello xda!
First of all, huge thanks to @AyDee who has helped me do this! I am VERY thankful for his great help and I couldn't do this without him!
Picture within this spoiler. Be warned, the picture is huge (1920x1080p)

}
PLEASE NOTE: Since these Softkeys are targeted at non-root users, the icon for "recent apps" is used instead of the "menu" buttons. This might not please everybody, but if you want me to change it, just request it!
The icons used in the first version for Quickmemo and Notification panel drop-down are grey AOSP ones. If you want the "original" where Recents, back and home are Android L-themed, please look further below.
DOWNLOAD LINKS:
First version where the "menu" softkeys are themed as "recents" - this is mostly for non-root users who'd like the look of stock AOSP, but cannot get the "recents"- button on their navbarhttps://www.sendspace.com/file/hi7vqq
Second version: There was a request for a "normal" one, download that here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/l5j6wiipbzv6z4j/vProAndroidLSoftkeys.apk?dl=0
Changes: Back, Home, Recents, Qmemo and Menu are Android L themed, . Credits for navbar base: @AyDee. Credits for menu and Qmemo icons go to motomoto00. This one is what you would use if you are rooted and have the recent apps button. This one DOES indeed work!
Updated as of November 22.
2.0 (Black Icons on White Background
Download here: https://www.sendspace.com/file/ymykax
Back, Home and Recent buttons are Android L-themed, Qmemo and notification dropdown are custom.
If you have any requests, please let me know!
Installation instructions
After installing the APK, go into "Settings", "Display", "Front Touch Buttons" and lastly go into "Colour". Then either pick AOSP vPro97 Softkeys or AOSP Softkeys (depending on which one you downloaded).
The only way to make these custom icons stick on home screen on a non-rooted device is by disabling transparancy in Settings-Screen-Touch Buttons menu. With a rooted device, install either G2Tweaksbox or G3Tweaksbox depending on which rom you are using. These custom icons work on both G2 roms and G3 ported roms and you can easily uninstall it again.
Possibly an utterly daft question, and I should frankly know better. But, I assume being rooted wont be a problem to having these?
Also, as I use g2 Tweaksbox and xposed and bleed immersive mode etc, would that all work with these icons?
Great softkeys, pls make 'normal' edition where recent is recent button and menu ise menu...

You might have to disable G2 xposed or at least the nav bar options. It seems it overrides the stock front touch button options. In G2 xposed you just load png images of each key and it will not work with the TweaksBox options.
Edit- I haven't used bleed immersive. I was thinking of tinted status bar option in TweaksBox which works the same. Not sure how it will work with BIM...
Disabled the nav bar settings and tried installing again. Took me to the buttons menu in settings. They werent there to choose, will prob leave it for now, am just getting impatient for L already ha ha.

Sweet, it converts icon masks correctly. There aren't many Go themes/icon packs I like, but a handful of them come in handy when trying to theme my home screen, and this app is pretty useful in that case. My launcher actually has very limited support for Go themes, but it doesn't allow me to select individual icons (also, no icon masks if I want to use the icon pack globally). This app fixes that, thanks.

Fixing icon mask is one of the reasons why you should use Theme Converter. Also the converted theme doesn't have unnecessary permissons and features that will drain your battery.

By the way, what kind of ads? The type you can close and isn't push ads? Or the random type while you are using it? The latter will be instant uninstall.

You know what I hated most; designing such beautiful useful app and putting piece of junk ads ruins entire user experiences, at least for me. I know developers somehow need to make money, but come'on....I am not experienced developer, but I am pretty sure there's much less annoying ads can be implemented...
+1
Way too many ads.

Thanks for using. Do you have any suggestions?

I'm looking into it. But since I don't have an LG G2/G3 device, can you help me to test it once it's available? Thanks

I can change icons on the homescreen, but not in dock bar or app drawer. Are you ok with that?

I would be happy to test yes. I own the G2 so I can provide any stock sys files and logs if needed. I can also give the optimus theme apk if you need.

Samsung's New Notification/Lockscreen App

Hey all.. I don't think I've seen a post about this so I thought I'd be the first to give you all a heads-up on Samsung's new lock app called Good Lock. It's a fairly new app and I'm sure they'll make improvements. It pretty much changes your lockscreen, notifications tray, and recent tabs. Let me know what you think of the app.
**Apparently some rooted users are having various problems (constant reboot and randomly uninstalls itself), so keep that in mind...
You can download this in the Galaxy App store

Saw this earlier today, haven't downloaded yet. Are your icons a previous theme or are they from this new Good Lock app?

The white outlined icons are from the theme store

I downloaded this today, and so far I like it! I wasn't sure at first, but the more that I use it, the more I enjoy it.
I like the new notifications menu. Looks a lot like stock Android. Wish u could use a custom lockscreen wallpaper, but besides that, it's pretty cool! I'm surprised that Samsung created something like this.
To answer your question, I'm pretty sure that those icons are from a previous theme. I haven't found any icon customization with this app
I tried the app, but it uninstalled itself after a bit playing around with it. It looked better than the stock lock screen and notification area (although I don't like the colours) and I'd like to keep the app. Is there a way to prevent that the app is automatically uninstalled?
In Nova Launcher pulling notification bar down is not flawless if you use gesture...
Just a warning that it doesn't work with rooted devices. I made the mistake of installing it on my rooted S7 and it caused constant reboots.
I've also uninstalled in for ithe time being because it didn't work with my Samsung led case. it kept asking for location. I've never had the uninstall problem or reboot problem. you can change the lockscreen by going to Samsung settings. I really hope they polish the app a bit more.

So far, I'm liking Good Lock. just a couple weird things. Looks like you no longer can customize the quicksettings tiles, and the recent apps switcher is much better, but if you use the button to bring it up and dismiss it (also using the button) then it goes to the Home App instead of the app I was in.

Are you rooted? If not, that explains why the reboot issue would never have happen for you.
Downloading now.
I tried it and uninstalled within minutes. The recent apps is horrible - separate chrome tabs are now nameless icons making it useless to find the tab you wanted, and I like having a preview of the open apps. Also, as mentioned, the MM notification draw pulldown bug in Nova is present, which drives me insane. And no lockscreen wallpaper choices, no thanks. The only reason I'd want to use it is the more stock android look, and that you can finally double tap a notification on the lockscreen to open it, which should be a thing on the current lockscreen anyway.

You select your wallpaper just as before from your phone settings/display and wallpaper.
So far I think I'll keep the Good Lock

[THEME] Pixel v1.2

Hi,
I created a Pixel-like theme, hope you enjoy
It is a very first version and I will be working on it, especially on the Nougat.

Changelog:
v1.1 - 16/12/16
- Package name changed to Pixel
- Grey colours adjusted to look more Pixel-like
- Status bar colour fixed
v1.2 - 16/12/16
- Settings white strip fixed
- Wallpapers changed
- Dialer now themed
Known issues: (on Nougat 4)
- Calendar upper bar is white along with the text - unreadable (for now)
- Device manager is not and cannot be skinned (yet)
Hello,
Are these themes working on Nougat? Because i get an error when i try to install them.
Thanks in advance!
Me too, i can't install
Nice work, but if you name it 'Pixel' maybe you try to use the original color palette. This would be awesome
You should notice that samsung introduce a top panel in system settings in beta 4 where the font color is white. With material light background color you won't be able to read it.
I understand why dark colors were used, probably to save power. Very nice, I hope it will work on Nougat. Just bought an Edge. Love the hardware, hate the Samsung-look.
will this work without root?

Only pitch black can save power. The power consumption between white and dark grey (on same brightness) is nearly the same.
Package seems to be corrupt error when trying to install. Pleas fix this

Yes, it will work without root but you after you apply this theme, you will need to disable Samsung themes and Theme services. And... you have to do it every time the phone restarts, unfortunately

Maybe you can have a look at the other published 'pixel' theme in Samsung theme store. There exist only one other theme for Samsung Marshmallow which is called 'Pixel'.
The official color platte you will find here.
Remeber that new 'Pixel' style are rounded icons like
There are some Google Apps that do not have received an update yet with rounded icons. But official google Pixel launcher (download here) will tranform every non rounded in a rounded one. Therefore for a 'complete' theme on graceUX (successor of touchwiz on Nougat) you need to consider this.
If you work on, I will pay for a good Pixel theme :good:
Edit:
For Example this is the Pixel dialer look.

Oh, that's valuable info. I will be working on it tonight Btw. I don't really like those new uniform icons, that's why I included stock Marshmallow icons. I will be creating a Pixel icon pack for those who want Pixel icons, since it's a Pixel theme
Edit: Oh yea and one more thing. Unfortunately I can't change the dialer itself, only Contacts. I will be taking those colours though.
Thank you for suggestions!

Are you sure? At that moment I am using the competition 'pixel' theme from samsung theme store and the dialer is themed...
Edit: Don't get my wrong. I do not mean that you have to imitate the exact look like original google dialer. Only use the correct 'background' and 'accent' colors.

I think that you should share the M version of theme (if you make it with Theme Editor). Maybe that could fix the problem, try it 👍🏼

No, I mean when you get the theme from the editor. You have few different themes created, just use the one with the M on the end of the name and not fhd or wqhd

Pixel is best than Samsung S7.
