I saw there is a way to add any app but it requires root. I would like to be able to use the pulldown menu so that do not disturb can be turned on in ups mode.

Is there an app that will add turn wifi on/off option to the menu, with power down, airplane mode and silent mode, that shows up when you press the powerbutton?
It sounds like you need to be rooted. Then you can add almost anything to anything. OR search a power wiget on the market.
i dont think apps will be able to edit this dialog. you'll need to find a custom rom which implemented this feature (or ask a cook to do so..)
:'( that sucks should be an apparently to change them to whatever you want :-D
With something like Notification Toggle you could add it to your expanded notification bar if you don't want a widget on your homes screen.
Don't know how it happened but it's quite annoying, I like having the status & navigation buttons there without having to swipe.
How can I disable/toggle it? I've tried restarting.
Surely someone knows how to disable this? I thought it was a menu option but can't find it anywhere

I assume you're using Xposed and GravityBox to enable it in the first place ? You should have a option in the power menu (hold power button) to toggle Expanded Desktop on/off.
First of, you need to enable full immersive (hide both navbar and status bar) via ADB command described in this article
https://android.gadgethacks.com/how...re-screen-real-estate-no-root-needed-0177297/
Then go to Edge screen settings and download/install Softkey Edge application. For convenience, order the Softkey edge to be first.
Let me know how it goes.
Nice!.... I will try
I tried this and while I like the full immersion I have to wonder if there's really a reason for the edge navigation since the soft keys already show back up if you swipe up from the bottom.
I went with toggle immersive mode remapped on my bixby button..
it's better since we'll have quick option/action to turn on and off the immersive mode.

They probably used either BixBye or bxActions (or some other equivalent) but I have found that those apps cause scrolling lag/dropper frames when granted accessibility rights. I used a combo of GMD Immersive Mode and Navigation Layer and found it worked pretty well without lag issues.

well I made the toggle immersive app using tasker and autotools since I have them.
(in tasker select plug-in > autotools > secure settings > display > immersive mode)
then use bixby remapper app to launch it, just choose one that works for you.
at first I used bixbye app to remap bixby button, but it's accessibility rights and usage
broke my one hand mode setting.
then I use Bixby remapper that still has old accessibility rights mode (without swipe rights)
and it's working fine.. I don't see any scrolling lag .
definitely cool. easy to do. figer sensor also works to bring down the notification panel so I just did the notification. I like my Nav bar.
well I reverted.. this breaks Google voice typing. and Whatsapp looks all broken.
Hey Guys,
I want to find a way to show an extra button on my nav-bar to hide my nav-bar. I am watching for a solution for like 2 month and still didn't find a way to do it.
I tried 'Custom Navigation Bar' where I can activate an immersive mode but the nav-bar is auto hiding after some seconds and I don't want that. You can add extra buttons to the nav-bar in this App but I don't know any Keycode which hides the nav-bar. Is there even a Keycode who does this?!?
I can't believe that I can't find a solution to this problem I found apps who can hide the nav-bar and I found apps who can add extra buttons to the nav-bar. all of this without root. But how to combine this? Anyone?
Ty for your time
Greetings Mr 305
using custom nav bar:
1.
Create a new profile (called mine "immersive") check change immersive settings, hide which ever you want
add button (i used left), type = toggle profile, select immersive profile, i set icon to chevron up.
2.
go back to main screen, click nav bar, change immersive mode yes, but keep nav and status bar unchecked.
add same button, type = toggle profile, select immersive profile, I set the icon to chevron up.
This will give you a button that toggles between immersive and non immersive profiles, you can obviously make other changes to the main screen and profile seperately
Ty sir!!! Works like a charm

S22 Ultra, UK, with latest updates. I wish to create a routine (activated with a one-click widget on the home screen) that;
- turns off Bluetooth
- turns on airplane mode
- turns on power saving mode
This is straightforward to set up. The issue is that I cannot add the widget to the power-saving home screen.
This would allow me to turn this routine off with one click. It takes me multiple clicks to get out of that screen and then another one to turn off the routine. I see I can customize the icons on the power save home screen, but don't seem to be able to add my routine widget.
You can probably see that my desire to easily put the phone in and out of a low power mode. Anyone offer any suggestions or advice to achieve this? Back in the day I had a phone with a simple physical slide switch that would do just this task. Very handy!
What do you mean by 'power-saving home screen'?
The Modes and Routines app provides 2 types of widgets, and both can be added to your home screen.
Hi. When I select the 'Power Saving' option from the pull-down menu the phone switches to a simplified 'power-saving' home screen. That has a clock and 8 app icons. That is what I mean.

I have created a routine called Sleeping that does exactly what you want. Check it out.
Thanks for your efforts but unfortunately this is not really what I need.
- your phone is not seen to switch to a different home screen when power saving is activated. Mine does not.
- you have created a mode accessed via a shortcut from the standard home page but I run Nova launcher
I was able to figure out a two-click solution.
1. Modes and Routines>settings>Show Modes and Routines in the Apps screen to ON
2. This allowed me to add a shortcut to Modes and Routines (unfortunately not directly to the routine) to the Power Save home screen.
3. I configured a single widget routine for my Nova home page to turn the power save routine on.
4. When activated, this flips me to my power save home screen. But now I can select Modes and Routines from the icon list there (1st click) and then this takes me right to the Modes and Routines screen where I can deactivate the routine (2nd click).

This was your requirement. The routine I created does exactly that. I use Nova Launcher too and the widget on the home screen is a direct shortcut to the routine itself. With one click I can turn it ON, and with a single click I can turn it OFF too.
The only thing it doesn't do is change the home screen. I don't know what the purpose of that is, and if that is supported in Modes and Routines, you can add that too.
>>"This is straightforward to set up. The issue is that I cannot add the widget to the power-saving home screen."
This was my requirement.
With further research, the change to a limited power save home page was an activated option in Power Saving settings. If I turn this option off then it does not switch home pages and the standard widget works one click on and off.

So is this resolved for you now?
I never played with that option in Power Saving settings, because once you turn on airplane mode and turn off wifi and bluetooth, there is no additional power savings to be gained with it.
I guess you keep your WiFi ON in that mode so your selected apps can still function with minimal power draw.
