hi i need a custom rom for P6200 that doesn't auto adjust brightness each time i open the stock browser! or some one can mod the default browser.apk with NO auto adjust brightness "feature"??

Non credo si possa risolvere, la piattaforma tablet è così perfino con ICS. A differenza di Gingerbread non lo si può regolare. Sul mio Xoom ho perfino lo stock browser moddato da uno in gamba ma niente luminosità regolabile (altrimenti ti avrei copiato l'apk)
I don't think it could be fixed, Tablet platform is so did even in ICS. Can't set the browser brightness instead of Gingerbread.
I got a stock browser really moded by a smart guy on my Xoom... But even it has no set brightness

i can see the last post is from oct 2011 but i just stumbled onto sth here that may look intersting to some.
if you kill the status bar then switch to the browser your brightness won't change
you can kill the status bar using HoneyBar or (as i do now) GMD GestureControl. both are paid apps on the market.
Check if power savings is enable on your device. If so, go to settings > power savings. There should be an option (I used galaxy S3 with JB 4.1) that reads 'change background color to save power in email and internet'. If you disable that, the auto-brightness setting on the stock browser SHOULD match exactly the auto-setting on the system, from then on.

i'm totally new to EMUI - First device is the Honor 8 now - before more or less proud owner of a HTC Deside, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus4/5, LG G5 - Compared to the device history i have i am pretty impressed with the Performance - Battery Life and overall "add on" functionality when it comes to app controll and so on. Nonethenless i have one question i was not able to "solve" here for the moment. As far as i can see the "Banner" is used for the headsup notification from "stock android" - As these are themed i have some "strange" appearing things like the google maps navigation when it comes to turn by turn instructions (the green headsup/banner notifications when a turn is ahead) - simply is cut off somehow.
i think this is maybe a general problem to emui theming and cannot be solved except finding a theme that goes well with my needs? any advice for google maps? ^^

Yes I have the same issue... guess we will have to wait until EMUI gets an update that fixes that problem
Im using my phone with hungarian primary and english secondary language (Xiaomi Mi A1 Android 8.0.0 not rooted) and Google Now main language is us english adn secondary is hungarian. Recently i donwloaded te original Pixel 2 launcher form apkmirror and i installed and set it as my main launcher after that is launched weather with the widget added the shortcut then i reset launcher 3 for ma main launcher.
After all of these i am abel to use Google Assistant with US English lanugage even if my phones main language is hungarian. After a few hours later it becomes unavailable but if i do the same steps with the pixel launcher and weather it becomes available.
Every time when I launch weather with that shortcut the Assistant gets available for a short time.
Now it seems its just a bug but i really hope that it will be available soon with english on any phone lanuage. It woul be really nice.
(The assistant works as well as with english primary phone laungage.)
What Does A Custom ROM DEPEND on?
So unfortunately my phone, being an amazon phone, isn't a popular device and has NO custom roms available, I struggled to find a TWRP file but I FINALLY found one. Does the rom depend on architecture? Chip? Screen Size? Camera? What makes a BV A80 Pro (Same phone just a slightly differnt chip and the Pro doesn't have NFC) lineage os ROM (BV A80 Pro has an LOS Custom ROM) not work on a BV A80 Plus? I couldn't find an answer on google and I know people here are smart (Except me) I really want Lineage OS, Havoc OS, Bliss or AOISP. How would I get one of these on my device?
Upgrading to android 11 or 12:
My phone has Android Q and I asked the company if my phone will ever receive an update past Q, They said no and I don't have the money to go buy a new phone. I flashed an A11 GSI in TWRP but it says "Cant flash system files to system" or something like that. How would I update it to A11?
System Apps:
Bloatware, Bloatware, BLOATWARE! I HATE IT! I don't know what flash file to edit, nor do I know how I would go about editing it so that I can remove the bloatware and add some apps. Help here would be great!
Aesthetics Editing:
So I recently rooted my phone (BV A80 Plus), and I only rooted my phone because I specifically bought the red version of that phone because I like red. Unfortunately, all the buttons, volume panel, settings app text, toggle switches and quick settings tiles are blue. Its not an attractive contrast and I wanted a way to make that blue accent a nice red. I tried the Dev options accent color, but it doesn't change every accent, it only changes the text accent. Everything else stays blue. I tried Swift installer AND substratum, but those tiles still stay blue... So I looked into my phones System UI apk, and I found that there is a separate color input for the tiles under res/values/colors. I don't know how to change that color so I guess I'm asking for a little help with that.
Is Another UI Possible On Stock Android?
Is it possible to replace the boring stock UI with a different one? Like One UI or Mi UI?
