I'm sure many others also purchased the NEX. Pleas keep reporting it here: the more NEX devices are around, the more developers will be interested to look at it.
And to everyone who hesitates to get the NEX: once you get the public VIVO account, nothing keeps you from owning a wonderful device, that will amaze you its performance and exclusivity. I owned a lot of devices (still do) but this one really stands out. The best a man can get!
(Note: I say that about my wife too, so I know what I am talking about, we are married since 33 years this year... )

Some phones have GPS issues. Others do not. There are no revision/batch numbers so it doesn't matter. You can tell the month a Nexus was manufactured by the first 3 characters of the serial number printed on the box

If it's refurbished, then Google would have said its refurbished. Nor is there a set "refurbished revision".
So.. Google will inform the client if it is refurbished?

As far as I know, they do. I don't think brand-new ones are sold/used as replacements anymore anyways.

I understood the problem. Even if I did not understand but now do, it wouldn't change the fact that there are no revisions.
However, as I said - you can tell the month of manufacture from the serial number on the box. That is not indicative of new or refurb. They could have a 10month old new / unused one on a shelf.

All replacements are now refurbished. Your refurbished device can may have been originally manufactured at anytime in the last 10 months.
There were no hardware revisions.

Unfortunately, the box the refurbed devices come in are a plain white box with a SKU # on it. No serial #, no retail box, nothing. So with these replacements being sent out now, there is no way to tell what "batch" the phones originally were in.
To the OP:
When I spoke with Google Devices Support on the phone, the rep stressed many times that I will be receiving a refurbished phone. Never one was it alluded that a new device would be shipped.
I am from india, and trying to get nokia 6 since last month, but Amazon is really making it irritating with its flash sale crap. Why dont they simply makes this available to all.

Buy from ebay.in 64GB and 4GB RAM. Use 10% disc coupon. But ask for TA1003 model only. TA1000 comes with modified ROM and you cannot update OTA.
But only seller warranty applicable as phone is imported.

Yes, this is exactly my question, why i have to wait like crazy to buy something for which i am ready to pay, its not a life saving medicine afterall. I remember waiting for meizu m3 note in same way, and with this same idiotic practice people lost their interest in phone and now no one cares about it.

The CEO and company has played the customers like a fiddle, and lied to our faces claiming that the phone is unlocked out of the box. They say that bootloader unlock will come by next month but how can we believe that?

Why do few people act like they are in a hurry, you just bought a new device. Wait for few days and hope for best! Realme 3 pro is a great device and I'll love to try custom rom in it but it takes a lot of time to develop custom roms, recoveries and kernels. I was using redmi note 3 and that was launched in 2015 and still getting support from developers. So, don't say that realme cheated you.. be patient and use color os until any custom rom gets developed for our amazing device ?

Wow! A no-brainer. Any phone versus the best of Xiaomi.....Any phone wins hands down!
Xiaomi has some devices even better than usual big brands.
Now that Android 11 has been released today (9/8) for the Pixel series, what kind of timeline can we expect to see for OOS11 implementation from OnePlus for the OnePlus 7 Pro? Apparently the 8 series will get android R first but we are right behind them so I have fingers crossed for a swift release
according to the oneplus tables, the 7pro should receive android 11 no earlier than November / December
Inviato dal mio OnePlus 7 Pro utilizzando Tapatalk
OB for OP7 Series will be only after Stable release on OP8 Series. And Stable release will be not Earlier December. But as for me, I prefer OOS 10 over OOS 11.
Can you imagine paying 800€ for a flagship only to be treated like a second class citizen only one year later? Yeah, screw OnePlus never buying anything by these crooks ever again.

Imagine buying phones from other manufacturers. They get it even later than OnePlus.
Love super spam threads... "What if?...." come on guys, all the relevant 11 rollout info is online. End of the year for us.

All pixel devices get Android 11 update same day Google release it start from pixel 2 release in 2017 & have a good software record compare to OnePlus.
Stop!
Get some help!
No-one here can tell you when, judging by previous releases, probably November but they only released BETA 1 for the OnePlus 8 family today, so it might even be next year.

I am going to hazard a guess and say probably the end of the year or beginning of next. I've been rocking stable oos for the last 8 months myself and haven't even test driven 11. It's kinda hard to believe that I'm the same person who used to crack-flash anything remotely interesting and even when i loved a Rom i couldn't stay on it for more than two weeks because I felt like i was missing something. This phone has been so glitch free me on 10 that i didn't realize 11 was here.
What's the deal with Android R, is it any good?

My point exactly. I was being sarcastic.
Just waiting AOSP 11 ROMs... OOS11 sadly are not a nice option. I don't want to transform my OP device in a Samsung looks like device.
Thankfully with unlocked bootloaders, we can install custom ROMs and maintain the stock Android look. OxygenOS 11 looks like a less refined One UI skin and a disappointment for those who bought a OnePlus device for a near stock experience. Still I know a stock rom will help with kernels and overall stability.

Dear Team,
I how you guys are doing amazing , i was about to buy new mate 30 pro for a very good deal but thought should i ask is it safe to buy mate 30 pro this year considering mate 30 is 2 years old mobile also Please confirm how many years Huawei software and security support is available ? is it 3 years or 2 years ?
Looking forward for your support on this cheers !
Hi guys. Looking for kind support on this please .
I have it, I use for camera. I have gone away from relying on google apps, found alternative. Only thing I hate is lack of updates and customization since I came from owning a S9+ for couple of years.
Battery is very good, I recommend. 7.5 outta 10, if there was more internal UI customization and quicker updates I would go for 9 outta 10.
Also. The price was very good, saved like $500 compared to new Samsung fan edition.

The Mate 30pro was released end of September 2019, that makes the oldest Mate 30 pro's 18 months, about 1.5 year old. My wife still receives security updates on her mate 20 pro so I believe they provide 3 years of security updates.

Amazing , one more stupid question if we compare redmi k40 with mate 30 pro and oneplus 8T what will be your choice ?
MY 2 cents here.. I wanted to get the Mate 30 pro so bad recently as a secondary phone, but the lack of google services, the difficiculty for sideloading some apps, reminded me of my times with the Blackberry Z10. I would choose something "more compatible" so to say, and wait until they announce google services can be in place again.
I just bought one. The price was the main reason. 400 euros for a absolutely new one with 2 years warranty . My main phone is Z fold 2 but here on first view the screen is crystal clear. Just beautiful. And I have used half a year an P40 pro without GMS. So this is not so bad for me. And the camera is also so so much more better. I thinking now to sell the Samsung one.
