[Q] One S Stuck in bootloop after installing Viper 3.0.0

Hi Guys,
Yesterday I installed Viper One S 3.0.0 on my Phone.
Installation went ok. Used TWRP by the way.
After the message of succesful installation i rebooted the Phone.
Now it's stuck in a bootloop. I can get into recovery, but there I cannot do anything. It doesn't seem to see the Internal storage, so restoring the backup I made of the stock ROM is also not possible.
Anyone an idea how to get this ROM to work, or how I can get back to the Stock firmware? I kinda need this Phone.
And does anyone know if the SD card is wiped? Or just not visible?
Any help would be much appriciated.:good::good::good:

Can you go in to fast boot and give this commanded
Fastboot getvar all
Hide your imei and serial number

Thanks for the update. I Will do that tonight.
Also got the tip from Bilal to flash the Boor.img via fastboot and then try if it boots.

I had the same problem, i had installed the viper rom twice (second time without wiping) and then it worked. I also had the 'no ds card found' error. This fixed it for me:
1) Use the All-in-One-Kit and flash your recovery back to stock
2) Boot into the bootloader and choose to "clear storage" and afterwards to reset to factory defaults.
3) Go back to the all-in-one-kit and flash a CWM recovery version again.
4) Reboot into recovery (CWM). Your /sdcard should now be mounted and visible.

Thanks for the update. I have the Toolkit, but which button is for the Stock Recovery?

Ok so I'm a bit further. I Flashed an Original Recovery I found in the thread of the Toolkit. That didn't boot.
But afterwards I flashed the TWRP again. Now I see the SD card again.
Only problem now is to send a ROM to the SD card for installation.
ADB is not working properly on my WIndows 7 X64 machine.
Anybody any ideas on that??

TWRP has a mount option. Connect your device to your computer then press MOUNT from twrp. That should solve your problem.

Ok cool. I will try it om my win7 laptop tonight. Just tried it on my work laptop, but that;s Win8 and doesn't see the Phone when I plug it in.

You can reboot your phone in recovery, in TWRP select mount, wait a minute, and then Windows 8 should 'see' your device

Hi Guys,
Got everything working again.
USB connected to my WIN8 machine after all, and i was able to copy the Viper 3.1.0 rom to the SD.
After 2 times installation (1 with TWRP Wipe, and then 1 with Wipe from Aroma installer) it worked.
1st install worked until I rebooted. Then bootloop again.
2nd time wipe from Aroma and all is working fine now.

Nice going! goed gedaan!

Just 1 little thing I found. Maybe someone knows how to fix it.
Every now and then the Phone just reboots. Then it works fine for a while. Is this a known issue?
Besides that I'm loving this ROM. It's fast, customizable it just works great!! Respect to the Developer!!

No OS installed on oneplus one. PLEASE HELP!

So while I was testing a kernel my phone wouldnt turn on anymore, it was getting stuck on the boot loop, so I tried a lof of things but still didnt get it to work, finally I wiped all the partitions, even the system, I am available to use TWRP and fastboot mode but it says theres not an OS installed. Im very frustrated as its been a few days already without phone.... So i would be very thankful if you could help and please be very specific since my english is not very good, I am learning, thanks again.

If you connect your phone to your PC while you're booted into TWRP you should be able to copy a ROM zip from the PC to the phone.

Yes, I was thinkin on that but my pc doesnt detect the phone at all, it does starts to charge it but I can not copy files. thanks

Ok, you'll need to use fastboot to flash the stock images then. You have fastboot access, right?

Opo "no os installed"
I was flashing CM12 nighty on my OPO. Accidentally I wiped the whole system in recovery i.e I factory data reset my phone. Now when I boot It says NO OS INSTALLED. when i connect my phone during recovery it comes in the disk drives as "One". When i open it it has a folder named TWRP and inside that a file. I also have a nandroid backup of the phone when it ran SuperSU binaries on my PC. Can i transfer the backup to my phone via USB and restore them in recovery? Would that work? I tried adb sideload ROM.zip but after that command lot's of coding appears in CMD and then nothing happens!! So i just wanna know if I restore the nandroid backup would my phone work? I have TRWP installed! Please any help would be appreciated! Plzz help. :crying:

Put your .zip in the TWRP folder. It should show up on your phone.

Messed up my OPO while trying to flash ROM PLS HELPP

I flashed CyanogenMod 13 using TWRP and then flashed GAPPS but I was getting some errors so I figured I'd wipe the phone and try again. I wiped the device using TRWP and now literally everything is gone including the ROMs and I cant transfer the files from my computer... What can I do someone help pls

Boot into ADB and flash directly. There are a load of how to's on this site.

It's really easy to do.
Just download bacon tool kit from XDA site and flash the official ROM again.
If this don't help then search for how to fix bricked OnePlus one and watch some videos so you will get exact idea about what to do

you can try mounting a usb drive to copy files from your computer to the phone when it's in recovery.. just connect your otg cable, plug your usb, and click "mount" (under the install button in orginal twrp theme) then u'll see USB OTG, click it and you can access your USB via system/usb-otg (not sure about the path, but the folder of the usb drive should be usb-otg)

HELP with installing Cyanogenmod

Hello, I've been trying to install Cyanogenmod 12 but every time Rom Manager does nothing when I flash installation or with other options I can't go into recovery mode since it just reboots every time!
I have Sony Xperia T with Android 4.3 and I need newer version to install Pokemon Go!
I have tried many guides so pls don't post me links but just write me step by step what to do or tell me what I do wrong!
1. I have unlocked bootloader on my phone, my camera still works despite what the guide said. When I go into SERVICE in phone it says it's unlocked.
2. At this point I tried installing TWRP but to my finding I need to root my phone! Wtf there was nothing about this in the guides... But okay, I look in Internet and install KingRoot that automatically unlocks the root. Now I can install apps that require root.
3. I install Twrp, it ask me if I wanna install Bombox or something like that but I press no, I go into backup and whenever I try to do it, it does nothing. I restart the app and this time I try installation without any backup. I select the zip file of CM for my phone, select to wipe the data etc and start. But it does nothing and just freezes :/
4. I try Rom Manager, I install it try to do backup but it tells me to install something but later it says my device is unsupported?! I try installing just the Rom zip but again nothing...
Whenever I try to go into recovery mode through any apps it just restarts my phone!
Pls help I don't know what to do...

Have you installed TWRP with the TWRP manager?

install latest twrp for your phone.... u can flash cm 12 easily

I have TWRP Manager installed, I didn't install TWRP with this before since I thought it is the same thing?!
I just tried to install it, I selected my phone then the version to download and at the end when it tries to flash I get an error that flashing was unsuccessful and it's either because I have this installed or another error occurred. Then I have option to cancel or to reboot now but if I press it then it freezes and I can only close the app.
I have clean phone with no data, it's an old one so I'm not really scarred to lose anything just wanna get that CM12.

There are plenty of occurrences in TWRP where it will show that recovery was not successfully installed. Once TWRP Manager shows you that message, close the app and shut down your device and then try to boot to recovery using the correct button sequence. I believe for your device that the correct button sequence is as follows:
Power off your device.
Boot in*recovery mode*by pressing and holding Volume Up and Power*Button*at the same time.
Release all buttons when the Sony Xperia T screen flickers and in a few seconds the Recovery screen will appear.
Give this a try.

Well, I suspect that if TWRP Manager cannot install recovery on your device then you will have to download the correct TWRP from www.twrp.me and fastboot flash recovery on your device.

Just to make sure, you can still boot the device normally into 4.3 JellyBean, right?
Okay, have you ever used ADB or fastboot?
Have you installed a program on your PC like
Minimal ADB & Fastboot or 15 Second ADB installer or the Android SDK?
To verify that your ADB & fastboot is installed and working correctly follow these steps:
Boot your device normally.
Go to Developer Options and verify you have OEM Unlock enabled and USB Debugging enabled.
Connect the device to your PC with the USB cable.
Once connected to the PC you should see a pop-up message on the device asking for authorization. If so, check the box to "always allow".
Open the Device Manager on your PC and look to see if your device is recognized. (if you see a yellow triangle or question mark the correct drivers need to be installed)
So, if your device is recognized and the correct drivers are installed, open a command prompt window and type this:
adb devices
If your ADB is setup and working and your device is properly recognized the command prompt will return with a list of attached devices and the serial number of the device.
This is where we need to start that way we know the ADB and fastboot environment is setup and working correctly.
Also, I was looking around the XDA Xperia forums and there are some good guides on how to do this just in case you want to read up on the subject.

To unlock bootloader I was using some fastboot program which was in a guide and I had to go to cmd and just type fastboot.exe oem unlock boot 0xKEY or something like that and then I just installed app that rooted my phone and that's it. Nothing more. I didn't install any other things since I have problems with Internet :/

Also, I was looking around the XDA Xperia forums and there are some good guides on how to do this just in case you want to read up on the subject.

also, need a little help with sdk, might be a bit stupid but i dont know what version should i download...
1. installer_r24.4.1-windows.exe 144mb or,
2. android-sdk_r24.4.1-windows.zip
No installer 190 mb
both are on android website, is there any difference?

I have followed this link and I have successfully booted into this recowery and have many options to choose.
Question: What do I choose (any need to backups, wipes etc?) to install the rom and gapps i have downloaded before?

Quick question. Which recovery did you install? Philz or TWRP?
Good job on getting into recovery. First, I would take a backup. That way if anything goes wrong you can boot into recovery and restore your backup and have a working device again. After your backup, when you install a ROM+GAPPS you will need to perform a full wipe. This includes:
Dalvik Cache
System
Data
Cache
Do not select your internal storage unless you have your ROM + GAPPS saved on a micro SD Card or USB OTG drive. If you have your ROM+ GAPPS saved to your internal storage and you wipe it you will not have an OS to install. Just be careful when selecting partitions to wipe. Let me know if you need any help.

Hi and thanks for fast reply again,
I have successfully installed Cyanogenmode which Im grateful!
But I Have a problem, I have installed gapps but when i go into phone i can only see Cyanogenmode apps and none from google! I'm running gapps installation again, maybe it will help.
After everything is okay I can wipe whole system with internal storage right? I think it switched to TWRP after I have booted into cyanogenmode successfully.

I would dirty flash the ROM + GAPPS again without wiping anything and then boot normally and see if you have your Google Apps. Also, don't wipe your system unless you have another ROM ready to install. Also, don't wipe your internal storage and your system at the same time unless you have a ROM saved on a micro SD Card or USB OTG drive. The only time you should wipe the internal storage is when you are doing a completely clean installation and you want your device to be in a fully stock new state.

2. I powered on the device and I had only one msg that 'Settings' stopped which i just press okay and everything is working.
3. then I tried installing many different versions like aroma, full, mini but every time after successful installation whenever i power on my phone i get all those pop up messages and I cant get rid of them and do anything...

If you are having a lot of apps force closing I suggest finding a different ROM to install. Maybe a stock style ROM that has Gapps built in. Try several ROM's. You may find one you like better.

Help! I messed up my Oppo F1f. Can't do anything.

So my phone is in a loop boot state. I can still access ColorOS Recovery and Fastboot but that's it.
I've found a guide for using a program called Msm8x39DownloadTool but my phone won't pop up in it. I have put my phone into fastboot like a guide told me to then connected my phone to my computer but that's it I can't fix my phone using Msm8x39DownloadTool so if there is any other methods out there please tell me below. I am losing my mind because of my phone.
Also my colorOS Recovery has no USB mode... Could that be why my phone won't pop up in Msm8x39DownloadTool?
EDIT: Forgot to say but I have no micro sd card.

maybe borrow an sd card from someone you know. because u need to have the Offical colour os rom from oppo and put it on internal storage or preferably on sd card and install it.
had u enabled usb debugging in dev settings?
Or if fastboot is available, you could be able to flash twrp and try and do something.

How do I flash twrp with fastboot?
EDIT: Nevermind. It's installed. My phone now pops up on my computer. Now how do I get it fixed now?

Put lineage is 14/.1 transfered and transfer it onto ur phone and flash it.

What? What is lineage? Dude I'm not a 100% android expert lol. You mind setting up a small step by step? or if there is a video?.
