Help with US Cellular S7 on Cricket Wireless - Android General

I recently bought a Galaxy s7 from somebody that had it on US Cellular. At first I though it was network locked, however after some research I found out they are unlocked. I popped my SIM in and had to change APN settings and got the sms configuration texts. It says I have 4G LTE plus I'm able to use any apps that require data, able to make calls, and text(somewhat) and it shows the AT&T network logo however it shows no network bars and recently I've noticed I have not been receiving text messages from people if I have not texted them for a while. I'm able to text just fine but after not texting them for like an hour or two if they send a text, I never receive it. I have been sent screenshots proving this. This occurs in areas where there is even good coverage for both in the conversation. I heard I have to flash AT&T firmware but I do not know how to do this. If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

[Completed] Verizon S4 to Tmobile - problems

I have a Verizon S4 and switched service to T-Mobile. The phone works for calling but rarely works for texting. Messages fail to send. Data is also not working well. As per advice of Tmobile tech support, I changed the APN settings to work on their network. This did not fix my problem.
Do I need to flash the ROM? Can someone point me in the right direction?
Any help would be appreciated!

[Completed] Considering swapping logic board from SGH-M919 (T-Mobile) to SGH-i337 (At&T)

I have had my unlocked SGH-i337 (AT&T) for a while and I love everything about it. The only problem is that I am on T-Mobile network and am therefore unable to take full advantage of the phone's capabilities (Wi-Fi calling, Visual Voicemail, and most importantly, being able to switch on voice and data roaming) ...
Not being able to have Voice and Data roaming is a huge hindrance because I am unable to take advantage of T-Mobile's free roaming and therefore lose reception when traveling outside of T-Mobile coverage area.
A friend recently gave me his old SGH-M919 that is T-Mobile branded, and therefore has access to the above-mentioned features. The only problem is that the body of the phone is pretty rough shape and the phone is running on Android 4.4.2 whereas mine is still in great condition and runs on 5.0.1
I was wondering if it would be advisable to swap the logic boards of the two phones to optimize form and function of the unit that I am to keep.
Please excuse my ignorance on this topic as I am a noob when it comes to these matters...I am just looking to get optimal performance out of my phone.
Thanks in adavance!!!
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. First, please register on XDA so you can ask questions in other threads. See this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/register.php Swapping motherboards may or not work depending upon how close the specific devices are to each other. But before you try that see this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2295557 This may get you what you need. If you have further questions ask in that thread, after registering on XDA.

[Completed] Alcatel OT Fierce dropping network overseas

I have an Alcatel One Touch Fierce, originally T-Mobile, currently unlocked, stock ROM (4.2.2) rooted. It had no connection issues in the US or in Germany, but anywhere in Israel after boot it connects to the mobile network for only a fraction of a second, just long enough to receive a bunch of brand new notifications, and then it immediately drops the network and can't find it again. It does this both on a T-Mobile sim while roaming, and with a local sim.
I was unable to find any posts with similar issues for any handset, and I couldn't find a dedicated forum for my device to make a post. If I could get any help with this that would be amazing, thanks.

Verizon Samsung S6 issues on Cricket

Hello, this is my first post on xda. I recently purchased this s6, and have had service through Cricket for about a month. I can't send sms messages, so I have tried changing the apn, but to no avail. I called cricket and they told me Verizon phones can be problematic on their network. Not to mention the service is shotty even while in 4G coverage. I tried to root, but only achieved flashing the tar file, but got a nand write start fail. And surpringly it started running better after the flash. Is there a way to root android 6.0.1 easily and would that help? I am tempted to just take my Sprint Note 3 back up to Sprint, I just don't wanna pay 100 bucks a month. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. P.S. the phone is running slower that'll my Note 3 in almost every facet. And the longer it is on, it seems the slower it gets. Reboot helps.

attempted root on amsung Galaxy S7 on the EE network SM-G930F but now says GIGA LTE

Hello I am new to these forums so please forgive me if I have posted this up on the wrong section i is all new to me & a little overwhelming
last night not knowing what I was doing I attempted to route my phone with ODIN 3 shortly afterwards regretting it thinking I bricked my phone after many hours i got it working again
but in the phones android settings on the network provider bit it says GIGA LTE KT twophone service even though I should be with the ee network
I can still recieve texts & make calls the phone it self says EE after i hit the power button to turn the screen off & back on again but once back on the home screen it doesnt say EE on the notification bar
so I am left wondering can that particular issue be fixed ?
will it help if I put the correct firmware on the phone if so where can I download the exact & correct firmware for Samsung Galaxy S7 on the EE network SM-G930F ?
what does it mean when it says GIGA LTE KT twophone service ?
I rang EE on my phone number 150 that said I wasnt in any trouble and they dont think it will cause any trouble as I can recieve and make calls & texts etc they seemed to think it is working fine
just a little concerned by the GIGA LTE KT twophone service network thing
