I switched from Spotify and couldn't find an answer. I know Music let's you play your stored songs and streamed songs. Is there a way that you can download every song that is a part of your streaming collection? Right now, the way I see is you click the album and press "keep on device" but that's tiresome for every song.

My Google play music I choose every track that I thumbs up becomes offline, until here all fine, the problem is when I clear the thumbs up on the track they disappear from my playlist but after less than a minute Google music start to download them again.
Does anyone know how to remove it for sure?
All this using the google play music app on android, not on browser.
Hey everyone,
I have a question, but first let me explain what it is that it happening.
I like to listen to music in the car. Phone auto connects to the BT stereo. I use Spotify to listen to music which is my preferred app. But android also opens google play music app as well and if the google app has things in queue, it will play over my spotify. How can i make it so that it doesn't auto start Google Play Music, but starts ONLY spotify.
Note* if i have the Google Play Music listening queue, it will play spotify first but it will still open the app but with nothing playing. I want to stop the app from opening all together but still have the spotify app opening by itself.
I guess Tasker can do this but I would like to avoid using it if don't have to.
Thanks!
Can someone move this to the Q&A section instead of General?

In future, you need to use the "report post" feature to report the thread to be moved for you, the mods don't search threads looking for comments asking them to do stuff. I'll report this one for you.

This app lets you choose which player to start when connected to BT: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cp2.start.and.play.music.player&hl=en
Of course then that's just another app you have lying around, and if you already have Tasker...
cymbaline24, the app works great, Thanks! it does what i want and that's not opening googleplay.
So now that Samsung is supposed to be making Google Play Music the default music app in their phones and tablets, think there will be a way to stream music like Spotify directly to the watch? I invest heavily in YouTube Red and GPM and don't want to have to switch back to Spotify...
Are you a music lover? Do you often listen to music? Do you want to use Youtube music or Spotify and you're struggling with the high cost of your subscription? Or is it always intermittent when you listen to music due to the quality of your network? Now, a new app can help you with these worries: Musictube.
You can simply use Musictube to enjoy youtube music, and save whatever song you like for later. Musictube can sync all your Youtube library data after you log in to your Youtube account so that you can use Musictube instead of the official YoutubeMusic App. And it's all for free!
You gotta try it! And share it with your friends!
Easy to use navigation and interface
Have the same library of songs as Youtube music
You can play songs when you turn off the screen
You can build your own song list
You can use Musictube just like you would with Youtube music

Thanks for the topic and for the link, I'll try it after work.
