Does the phone support WiFi Sharing? - HTC U12+ Questions & Answers

Does anyone know if the U12+ is able to connect to a WiFi and act as a repeater? Similar to what the Galaxy S9 dubs as WiFi sharing? I tried searching the forums to see if it's predecessor carried this function but found nothing. I appreciate all input.

Anyone?

Bought the phone just to check and it doesn't. Phone wasn't my cup of joe either so it didn't matter.

A quick Google search answered this question.

PPC as motor-bike communicator

Hi all!
I want to talk with my pillion rider when I'm on bike!
I have a bluetooth headset and a normal headset for my XDA Neo. Is it impossible to bridge both headsets to communicate? So I can plug the bluetooth headset and wire the other headset to talk via the XDA!
Thanks for all solutions!
Greetings,
HaRdy
Thanks!
Many thanks for all usefull answers...
Hi Hardcore...
I'd also like to do this, so if you do find out can you let me know please.
Thanks,
D.
I can see what you want to do but without an active call in place I don't see how you can do it.
IMHO it would be cheaper and easier getting a pair of PMR radios with headsets. It's probably not what you wanted to hear, but judging by the replies you've had no one has had the idea or knowledge how to do it either
is there not a push to talk option on wm6 devices? Never used it so I dont know
Did you ever find a solution to this?
I think it's a great idea (on my Touch Cruise or my pillions Touch Pro). Maybe an app is needed let the two headsets talk to each other.
If anyone has got further with this, you could make many bikers happy!
As a much duller and more limited solution, is there a "Bluetooth" call option, so as to let the call be hosted over bluetooth between 2 PDAs, rather than over GSM?

Un-Restricted Verizon xv6900

Hello, I have been scanning the threads for quite sometime but have not found a full, satisfactory answer to my question. I am wondering if there is anyway to receive a free internet connection and/or GPS on the xv6900. And yes, I know the xv6900 does not have wi-fi... Also, if you have any other tips or hacks to make the xv6900 less restricted on the Verizon network, I would really appreciate it.

No such thing as free internet. As far as hacks (GPS), please go to the Vogue Section. Link in my signature.
So, you couldn't even connect it via bluetooth, etc?
You might be able to share an internet connection via BT, but I am not certain how. I think there might be an app or two for sharing over BT. Do a little google and see if you come up with something.
Okay, I found something.... I might have to give this a shot here soon! (http://mobileoffice.about.com/od/typesofaccessavailable/ht/bluetoothphone.htm)

Fujitsu Arrows Z ISW13F

I was just wondering if anyone can give me some specifics on the Fujitsu Arrows Z ISW13F. I recently moved to Japan, and I am looking for a phone that is as popular and powerful and with as much open source profiling as the sIII.
This phone i've been looking at is actually pretty powerful, I just want to know if anyone actually owns one, or has anymore information about it than I can find on the internet. Even through searching here in XDA, it seems it isn't a widely known device.
Thanks all.
HEy
hey...i was wondering did you buy it? and did you happen to find a way to root it?
Cheers,,

[Q] Wireless repeater/adapter sugestion

Dear XDA comunity,
I'm kinda new here even though I've been browsing it for a while now and I need some help. I want to get myself a nice wireless repeater and I have no clue on what to look for. I thought that you guys might have a few suggestions. The device also needs to have a few lan/usb ports for devices that don't have a wireless network card.
