I will be receiving mine in the next few weeks, I won mine from tigerdirect and any assistance you need i will give you in compleating this, unfortunatly i dont know much about webso but should be able to pull off a android 3.0-3.1 build that will work.

Well here is not the right section, you should to MarketPlace subforum.

i would rather offer the savings to someone who actually plans to develop for it . i can just as easily make a profit on it considering retail the package would cost you $640

I posted that last month and after getting Vorbeth permission, we are finally here. Now to get to the meat of the matter. It's gonna take around $600 to get this done (A700, shipping, taxes, and paypal fees). We need to know if there is enough monetary commitment here. So let's see those first, then I'll post a donate link. I don't want to get through the hassle of returning money to someone who didn't read this. :drool
I'm in for $10 now, more to come.

It is a little cheaper to buy one off of amazon.co.UK, difference is about $4 cheaper. The goal of $600 has wiggle room to cover PayPal fees and any last minute costs.

€10 (If it's still a valid currency) that equals $13.
Here in the Netherlands this tab costs around €400 -> $520 (maybe usefull for the comparison it's an awfull lot more expensive then in the us)

Re the above apparently the seller has apologized on facebook for copying some webpages so I guess thats ok then, if you say sorry then your not guilty of copyright infringement, But tell me this if they are genuine, why, after spending enormous amounts on their stock over 600 items, all apparently in stock, yet they skimp on their website and pinch other sites copyright material?
How have they come by all this stock?? the bigger established sites seem to have problems getting stocks of the Jiayu S3 3Gb version, but apparently they still hve stocks and still sending them out, and at an amazing price too, and by the way its not just this forum involved theres a couple more HERE and Here from Russia and Poland and I'm sure their are many more around the world where forum users have ordered from this site, and do you know why?? because if you google 'club1941 review' see which result comes at the top of the pile.
XDA is probably the most well known site of its kind in the world it is trusted and has an excellent reputation, and I will wager that many people have seen that review and taken it as gospel, I don't doubt the reviewer's honesty and the review of the phone seems unbiased and detailed, however the glowing review he gives of the website, without any knowledge of their history and integrity I believed has caused many to order from this site, how many of you ordered from club1941 before you saw that members posts on here? and that reviewer has admitted he received payment for that review in the form of a refund of his payment for the Jiayu S3 3 gb that he purchased from clu1941.
I realise that I'm probably p**sing into the wind and most of you will just wait and see what comes in the post, and more will probably order, tempted by the unrealistic prices, as I was.
And I wouldnt be at all surprised if the first few packages to arrive are genuine, that's not unheard of.
I'm not an expert on paypal and their ways, so if you have any queries paypal related please ring them up and ask advice if you go to the contact page in your paypal account there is a free phone number there, that's in the uk anyway.
Some of you probably think I have a chip on my shoulder regarding this site, and you're probably right, I dont like people who try to steal from me, or anybody else, and I'm old enough and ugly enough not to care what people think.

Yeah. Something is flying for sure an that something may be many,many things.

Seems like they do ship the items.
Judging from the tracking number most likely it's from Singapore.

Making refund when there is clear proof that something is already sent sounds to me like pure confession of a scam by the seller?

Why would the buyer open a dispute after he received a tracking number if the buyer isn't trying to scam the shop?
Have you ever tried going through the Paypal dispute process as a seller? It's a long and painfully drawn out process. The whole thing is completely biased towards buyers. If it was a proper and fair system theres no way oscarblue48 should have been able to open up a dispute after the tracking number was provided. This gives the seller a chance to actually send the goods, and the buyer to assess the goods before any action is taking.
Obviously these guys are new so maybe the shipping guys didn't notify the ordering guys. Hopefully they pick up the error soon enough and oscarblue48 doesn't end up scamming the shop.

Seller had number of days to reply his dispute..they didn't do it, they didn't wait, they refunded immidiatelly as they do not care about the "picture" of Jiayu coming @oscarblue48 way. Picture with proper SG track.

This one was specifically made to discuss how legit or not legit club1941 is. Also I don't find the price surprising since the official price from Jiayu's weibo account is 899 CNY for Basic and 999 CNY for Advanced http://www.weibo.com/jiayuyt, which would be just under $160 USD for the Advanced

360 Camera for $50, even if you ordered via Sprint

Looks like a little work around someone shared on Reddit to get the 360 camera for $50 works for Sprint pre-orders.

Buy the camera and phone from Essential.com (link and steps in the Reddit link), reserve the 360 camera for $50 at checkout, stop there. Just don't buy the phone if you don't want a 2nd one.
I pre-ordered via Sprint for the 50% off lease for 18 months. I also followed these steps to reserve the camera. I got an email about my reservation for $50. I didn't get to put in any purchase info at that point yet. Instead, a follow-up email to complete my order came. Upon checkout, I am in fact purchasing the 360 camera for $50.

I did this as well. Order processed. Fingers crossed they dont cancel. I spoke to their support about this. They goofed my reservation and the camera wasnt showing. I got impatient and went the Sprint route and they emailed me last night to reserve the camera and they would send me the checkout info. I told them i ordered the phone already and they said no problem. So it looks like it processed properly

Thanks for this. Seemed to work as I had already reserved a camera earlier. I was disappointed that I wouldn't get to try this camera out as I wouldn't pay 200 for out.

I was able to buy the 360 Camera for 50$ from Essential website although I placed my order for the phone through Amazon

Yeah I ordered mine last night and it was 179! Surprisingly the email I got from them said it's still $50, so I contacted them hoping I could get it for 50 since that's what the email says, but I haven't heard back from them, but from what I'm seeing on Twitter... They don't get back to u that quickly or often.... ?

I ended up sending them a long rant about their delays and that i ended up getting the phone from Sprint to avoid delays. Long story short, gave them my Sprint Info and IMEI/SN and said the experience has been terrible and hope the honor the price even though i ended up buying through a more reliable outlet:

Hey guys, as you know, currently the Poco F2 Pro / Redmi K30 Pro (lmi) doesn't have an active developer's community working to bring up Custom ROMs, Custom Recoveries etc.
Two of us @raystef66 & @Cave_diver), who are currently building for the Xioami Mi9, have decided to purchase the Poco F2 Pro and plan to build/develop for it.
However we are still missing some key skills and would very much like to win over @mickaelmendes50 to help with our project.
Our goal is to work together as a team and to bring up AOSP ROMs and a stable recovery for lmi as soon as possible.
Mickael is currently very active developing and maintaining on the Poco F1 and would very much like to join our effort, yet he is lacking the device and funds for purchasing it.

Hi everyone, my name is Mickael (@mickaelmendes50) and many of you will also know me as Mr. Mesquita from Telegram.

My current device is the Pocophone F1 and I fully support the team project of developing for the Poco F2 Pro / Redmi K30 Pro as described in post above.
In order to do so, I will need a funding for a device because my current status as a student does not allow me to purchase.
My plans and timeframe are as follows:
Hopefully complete the successful crowdfunding!!!
Wait for device delivery - approx. 4 weeks after the goal is reached.
Wait for the Xiaomi bootloader period to pass - 2 weeks after delivery.
Finally the timeframe for a geting a stable AOSP ROM and recovery - roughly a month after bootloader unlock.
The goal is to reach a total of USD 525 which will enable the purchase and shipping of the device, including insurance and taxes.

Actually it just started 30 minutes ago so that's not all that bad a rate
And just curious, where else can you get a phone for that price with a notchless Amoled, a Snapdragon 865 and a huge battery. All with pretty awesome Xiaomi build quality?

There was another crowd funding going on on telegram in the past day's for another developer and he actually raised the whole amount in 3 days @400€.

I get an error message while try to donate via PayPal. Is there another way to contribute?

The main problem here is Xiaomi. After 90 days no update for a brand new device and 60 days later after that we only get 2 updates but the phone is still full of bugs, fake 5G, even small basics like bluetooth doesn't work. I'm so pissed off and just looking to switch, no wqy to go with Xiaomi without working custom rom anymore in the future.

True, and we're just looking to fund another device now for the 4th developer. So it would be appreciated some can support as well for this fundraise from first post.
As of now we're all joined in our own dev group on TG. and hope we can soon bring out some good news on development

Really. 90 days no updates? That is simply not true.
If you look here, there was an update for the global model in May (initial version), another in July and two updates in August.

And what's with this 5G being fake? The device supports Sub6 bands 77 and 78 which is well documented. As you probably know 5G is a work in progress, there are different bands in use just like with 4G. Obviously the bands need to match those your carrier uses, you can hardly blame Xiaomi of Qualcomm if your carrier uses something else.
And Bluetooth, actually it works just fine, of course...

This is not only happening with Poco F2 Pro. Other flagship phones by Xiaomi have the same level of updates.

Just wasted 5 minutes of my time reading that thread, looks like a troll fest to me.
Firmware updates for the Poco F2 are there, the 5G band in my country (and pretty much all of Europe) is supported and bluetooth works.
So that refutes the claims you posted earlier.
Please don't hijack this thread to complain about the phone or brand. You're not required to like it, you may prefer Oneplus or whatever brand suits you more. And if you have constructive criticism, maybe consider posting it in your thread or any other thread where it is on topic. Thank you.

This might revive my dusty Android compilation environment. Rocking the Poco F2 Pro right now, MIUI is great but... I miss a few Omni things (and MIUI stability is arguable). All in to help.
