[Q] Recording video with external audio source, possible???

Hi there,
I'm owner of a Galaxy S4 Mini.
I'm also a home/amateur dj.
I would like to record a video while I'm djing with my mobile, using the minijack connection as a sound input. I want to connect the mixer output directly to the phone so I can have a video with the best audio possible.
Is that possible?, is there any app able to record video with external audio source (not the integrated mic)?.
Many thanks for your support.

Pocket MIC
Pocket MIC is a simple application that plays the audio from the microphone to the audio output
(Example: headphones, external speakers). You can use your phone as a mic. The lag is negligible.
PS: Please don't use the phone internal speakers to avoid echo.

Recording video with external mic?

Hey guys,
any of you have experience with video recording using external microphone? I am kinda satisfied with built-in mic but sometimes need to use external one. However, Mate 8 keep recording audio with built-in mic all the time.
I am using BOYA mic, which works the same way as Rhode Smartlav+ and I have no problems with it on iPhone and Sony Xperia devices. I just plug it in and video is recording using external mic. Huawei is different though.
Thanks for input
Same problem here with Mate 8

How can I force Honor 6X phone to record audio from external mic?

Hi all,
when I record or stream video, there is only captured sound from the phone internal mic, even though I plugged external microphone to the Jack - even in Cinema FV-5 app with manual audio source choice.
Connection itself is ok, I can use ext. mic to make calls and also record voice in voicerecording app.
I use Honor 6X, but this question is (without proper answer) on many Huawei/Honor forums.
Please, help to solve this.
All the best, Vaclav
