Hello Guys, has anybody on here had success in updating the 08-12-2017 update from bluboo,i have downloaded the file from mega nz and another sites and none of these will update (usually says this file is corrupt) I have tried using flashtool, adb.and via internal storage and sd card with no success. Also has anybody found a way to get the Bluetooth to work properly it is diving me crazy I love my music but become really frustrated when music keeps stopping and starting then will disconnect and reconnect at random, and just lately a new quirk has appeared when the music stops and starts again it will play at what appears to be double speed for a couple of seconds, HELP this doing my head in if I could afford to dump this piece of s**t I would but needs must so help would be appreciated. (moral never buy a Chinese phone on presale and check reviews first)

I'll give you the same advice I give my dad when he has this type of issue...
What software do you have installed?
What software did you install before this issue poped up?
Just try uninstalling it one at a time until the function you have lost works again... then complain to the manufacturer...
If you have not installed any software... it gets trickier...
it happens regardless of whether i have any programs installed...ive tried it str8 out of the box n it still does it...the only thing that i cant think of is maybe im puttin them n the wrong folder on my memory card...ive tried \storage card...\storage card\my documents...\storage card\my music...\storage card\my ringtones....they are mp3 files so idk y they keep causing the audio manager to crash...can u tell me where u keep ur mp3s at and maybe that will help me...maybe this will help too (when i take my memory card out n do a hard reset the songs that come stock on the phone work fine, but when i put the memory card back in NOTHING will work without crashing the audio manager)...ive even tried calling HTC and they couldnt figure it out...and i know its not just this phone bc i had like 4 original touch pros and they all did it and now my TP2 is doing it too what folder does every1 else put their songs in?
well darn, still no useful replies...im sure someone else has had this problem in the past...if so, please take 2 minutes to help...thanks again

Here is kind of a tech help question. I have a friend who has a casio commando with Verizon. When he downloads music to it using Rhapsody, he can only get 3 out of 10 songs to play. The rest have some kind of DSM issue. He has to go into the files and delete the songs with DSM issue and retry the download. Even doing 3 at a time, only 1 plays and other two have to be deleted.
As you can imagine, for him, this is quite a headache. in a week he's only been able to get 30 songs on it. Also, the usb mode gets stuck or pops up with an error 1-2 out of 5 times when plugging it in.
My main question is: If this is a software issue, would rooting the device help? or is this a hardware issue?
I also suggested that he download the songs he wants, deauthorize them and then load them using mass storage. I don't know much about Rhapsody though but I suppose he could use a different player on ther phone.
FYI, I've done a handful of Google searches for this already and haven't found much. Thanks for all your help.
Casio Commando Drivers
Have you fixed the problem yet?
If not, have you installed the USB drivers for the commando? (they are attached)
I have looked high and low for answer, but I haven't found one yet.
I'm not new to all this GPS software stuff, I used to have a Tom Tom and very little problems, that said my almost two year old recondtitioned Roadmate 1700 started to act up the other day, when i went to the previous destination and they were all gone, I tried to reset no luck, then when I reset the dreaded USB screen came up, so I came home got the content manager, used the first USB cable I could find, the roadmate did not ship with a cable, and tried to update but it just kept saying error, then I went to the download for the update itself and tried to exercute it but it kept saying it couldn't write, so now I'm thinking the flash drive is damaged or corrupt, the files on the HDD root did not appear to all be there and I couldn't find anywhere online to replace them manually as some I have done, so I pop in a SD card and try to install MioPocket 4, but I don't know what the heck I'm doing and it doesn't work and then I download Unlock and like a dummy I copy Iboot.exe to the HDD, so now it just hangs at the Magellan Screen, and will not connect to the computer via USB I copied Unlock files to the SD card and was able to access a Menu and tried to delete Iboot.exe, but it kept saying could not create file, but I successfully deleted Iboot.mscr, from the HDD and after that I can't get the boot menu anymore, so it's bricked for now, I tried renaming as is suggested in MioPocket Readme and some other boards, apparently I'm not the only one to do this and every time I find a post related to it, there is no other answer except to rename files on the HDD, but like everyone else I can't access the HDD anymore, after all is said and done can this be fixed or should I just cut my losses? Can the HDD be swapped if I can find one for parts?
Thanks for any help.
The only thing you can do is go to you service center i have visited many blogs for this info but not got any info about bricking of roadmate...My advice is go to your service center ...click thanks if i helped you

Hello everyone!!
I have got a P20 and everything was working right until yesterday that I realised I coundn't transfer files via MTP. Suddenly, no message about changing mode from charging to transfer when connecting the cable. I hard reseted the phone and it was working. Today, I reconnected it and the same strange behaviour occurs. The phone charges normally, though. Has anyone else this problem? It began to happen after some application updates I think.
Thank you alot!
Hi, I'm having the same issue, file transfer is VERY difficult.
Alternatively, I would have these issues:
- Phone doesn't even show in My Computer
- Phone will show but I can't browse its content
- Phone allows me to browse, I strat copying a file, then is stops randomly in the middle of the transfer. I have to unplug/replug several times for it to work poorly again.
I haven't managed to transfer several big files in a row with issues (like a full season of a show for example).
After trying with a different cable, it may be the source of the issue.
I was using a non-branded cable.
Hello, the same issue here.
P20 lite is in File transfer mode and randomly changes to Charging via USB.
I even switched off the display sleep, but without any success...
Please help.
Hi guys! I had the same problem and could not find a solution ... You will not believe me:
I searched different forums and videos on YouTube and tried everything without success (as it happened to you), I even communicated to HiCare via chat to inform them my problem and they made me do a factory reset, which didn't work either. Desperate, I contacted HiCare again and they asked me to give them my device and they would return it to me within 3 or 4 weeks!
I almost cried, in a last video of a old Peruvian man, talked about the static and how it prevents the electric charges of the phones, and can even get to charge (slow), but without file transfer. The solution: remove the battery ... obviously we cannot do that without going to the technical service and that gave me the last reason to send my device to technical support.
Buuuuuuut ... in another video a guy removes fluff from his cell phone with a clip or a pin to remove the static from his Motorola XPlay, I tried it on my P20 and I almost got a kilogram of fluff and dirt. Now you see the metal connectors (they were black) and when connected, almost magically, it worked! THAT WORKED!
I have an HTC One E8... I know, it's ancient... But... It's been a good phone until this past year when it really started dragging. Takes forever to do anything. A year ago, the main camera (is that the front or back camera) stopped working (phone doesn't even recognize that it's there -- flash doesn't work either with a flashlight app). Before that, phone dialing using my Bluetooth earpiece stopped working. Maybe related, but the phone doesn't work as a phone (holding it to your ear). If I'm not using the Bluetooth earpiece, it will only work on Speaker-phone mode (voice command apps such as Google Assistant and song recognition apps like Sound Hound don't 'hear' anything). Lastly, the Bluetooth has been disconnecting for no apparent reason. My earpiece will say 'Phone 1 disconnected', but when I look at the Bluetooth icon on the phone, it still thinks it's connected. Tapping the icon to turn off Bluetooth and then tapping again 'fixes' the problem and it connects again. It's just annoying when it does this in the middle of a conversation (and because, when it happens, the other party doesn't hear me yelling at them to wait because my Bluetooth disconnected because the phone doesn't know that anything is wrong). I had read ones that the Bluetooth drivers for this phone were sketchy. It's strange, though, this this problem has really gotten worse over the past couple of months without me making any changes to the phone. Lastly, the battery has really gone downhill. The phone will unexpectedly shut off around 30% battery. (I even tried the HTC battery recalibration technique -- no joy.) I chalked all of this up (except for the battery issue) to software. I thought maybe a good ol' factory reset (wipe) would fix the issues. For years (literally) it's been nagging me about a system update (Android 6.0). I never did it because the phone was already running slow and it's always screaming about being out of storage space. It hovers around 500MB free most of the time. I don't have that much installed on it. Any apps that will allow it, have been moved to the SD card.
That's the back-story to give you some insight as to what's going on with the phone. I included all of that 'other' stuff (camera and voice dialing issues) in case someone has seen them before and can offer any suggestions there.
So here's where I'm at. I decided to try to do a factory reset to 'refresh' the OS (remove all the patches and updates) and start over. Afterwards, I wanted to run Link2SD with a 64GB SD card so I wouldn't have the space limitations that I'm experiencing now after all of the apps have updated. The other night, after backing up the internal memory and the SD card, I started the process. (BTW, I have another SD card that I'm going to use that I've already partitioned per the Link2SD instructions.) After much trial and error, dead download links, incompatible versions of adb.exe and fastboot.exe I finally managed to get TWRP recovery installed. Then there was the issue of getting a working SuperSU installed. Finally did that. The phone booted and started walking me through the process of setting up my Google account. Everything seemed to go well. The phone was just as speedy as the day I got it. I was even able to restore my 15000 text messages and it was still zippy. It was wonderful! Unfortunately, the camera still doesn't work. Seems like voice dialing isn't working at the moment either. The Bluetooth issue seems to have gone away. Since the camera still isn't working, it looks like I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and get a new phone. This one will just become a 'toy' or a temporary backup phone in the event something tragic happens to the new phone. I'll just use this one on Wi-Fi only to check the weather and maybe play some games (which I had pretty much stopped doing because it was so slow and always out of storage). I would also use it as my portable media device for listening to downloaded podcasts and music while I'm running or riding my bike. It could also (maybe without mobile data) track my runs and rides, etc. As long as it doesn't get slow like it was before, I think it'll do just fine in its re-purposed life. (It was so slow I could barely play music from Google Music and have Google Fit tracking my run at the same time. It would take forever to switch screens!)
Ah, what's this?! Oh, there's that software update again. I guess I'll go ahead and do it before I start setting up a bunch of apps and tweaking the phone to my preferences. Nope! It downloads the OTA update into the Downloads folder and starts the process, but when it reboots, it reboots in Recovery mode into TWRP. I'm now finding that you can't easily do an OTA update after you've rooted your phone and put a custom recovery on it. I've seen lengthy instructions on how to put get a stock recovery.img out of the OTA zip file in the Downloads folder. I've moved it to my PC and pulled the firmware.zip file out. When I try to open the firmware.zip file to get to the recovery.img file, Windows is saying it's corrupted. I also see something about using an RUU.exe or RUU.zip file to restore the phone to stock. I've downloaded the correct RUU .exe file for my Sprint e8 in case I decide to go that route.
Here's my question... I know, finally! Since I don't have really anything on this phone since I did the reset and root, would it just be simpler to use the RUU method to blow it away and start over instead of trying to resolve the corrupt firmware.zip file issue and all of the other steps that follow? That's question #1. Question #2 is this... Will this RUU that I downloaded actually take the phone straight to Marshmallow before it starts walking me through setting up my Google account? If so, that's great! I'm all for the ease of that. I noticed that OTA download was about 250MB, while the RUU download is 1.5GB. Why such a difference? Is it because the RUU is the full-blown deal and not just the patches? I'm fine doing the RUU and then reinstalling and rooting the phone afterwards if that'll work. I still have all the files that I previously downloaded.
Sorry for the novel, but I wanted to be as thorough as possible to eliminate the back and forth "Did you try this?" "Did you try that?" However, if there is anything that I left out that would help with your answer/advice, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks in advance for any guidance you can give a noob.
