Having the same issue here, but on trying to unlock bootloader on a Razer phone. Using "fastboot -i 0x1532 devices" yields the "fastboot: unknown option -- i" error. Not sure what's the problem. I've installed everything correctly(hopefully >.>) Would love some help on this.

same issues here i try: fastboot oem unlock 0x(my unlock code) and it's ok

remove anything connecting to your port on your computer. connect only your phone and unlock the bootloader WITHOUT -i 0x2b4c (mine device only) .
so its, fastboot flash unlock unlock_bootloader.img

You don't know the difference between fastboot and adb.
Fastboot is accessible when the phone is in FASTBOOT mode in bootloader.
ADB is accessible when the phone is in recovery/ROM and booted past the kernel.
HTCDev-unlocked?
Search "fastboot flash boot.img".
May the search be with you (C).

You have to unlock your device before you can install custom roms.
And the correct way to flash boot is not "fastboot flash boot.img" but "fastboot flash boot boot.img"

I thought it was very clear.
When you have response to "adb devices", you can only work with ADB commands.
"fastboot" isn't ADB command, it's FASTBOOT command.
It should be run when the phone responds to "fastboot devices" command.
Now please search for the rest.

Are you in fastboot mode when trying this command? Power down your phone, then hold volume down and press power. This will get you in the fastboot menu (white screen). Now plug in your USB cable. The fastboot menu should respond, changing its title to include USB.

If I read you correct you are on the htc logo screen
I would wait another 10 minutes, the first boot can take some time.
If nothing you would need to restart it and start over. Maybe this time the firmware will flash correctly.
If it does finally boot up, check settings >storage to see that firmware flashed correctly.
excuse me if I don't write so weel...but thank u very much for the support and the patience.
I try to do the point of the situation:
I do all that's write in the guide to install MaximusHD until "2.fastboot flash zip firmware.zip"
when i launch that command it appears the error "FAILED ( remote 99 unknown fail )
I launch more time "fastboot flash zip firmware.zip" but nothing change..so i try to skip this point and launch "fastboot flash recovery TWRP2.6.1.0.img" ...
Now i already have the screen black with only HTC write in the middle...
What can i do??? can i flash an other rom in certain way????

Hello guys, i dont have the device itself so you will have to do all the work
I can only help you with my links and methods/procedures
so let the development begin!!
1st i will suggest you to download and use framaroot
if it doesnt work then tell me
but first tell me does i has fastboot mode?
how to see if there is fastboot:-
shut down your phone and start it via pressing the volume down button(volume down+power)
if it btings to recovery then restart the phone and start via pressing the volume up button(volume up+power)
if all fails then we go the hard way:-
download adt bundle windows
extract and go to this folder inside:- adt-bundle-windows\sdk\platform-tools
press shift and right click and select "open command window here"
connect your phone to computer(you should have developer option enabled, to enable it then tap it multiple times tap build)
then in cmd, type "adb devices" without "quotes" to check wether your phone is detected (windows should install drivers automatically otherwise wont work)
if your device is detected then type "adb reboot fastboot" and tell me if it brings to this screen

well adt will be a must to test fastboot
also if you can then send me a pic of that chinese menu
you can translate the pic with xtranspic and know the commands and use it
some devices show a warning menu before entering the fastboot, your menu is chinese cuz nearly all the indian brands make their devices via gionee (gionee recently started its own company)
i guess the commands there will be 1-continue to boot normal way, 2-continue to fastboot mode (or download mode), 3-reboot into recovery 4-shut down
just wait a while and i'll search root, but if your phone boots into fastboot and its unlocked then rooting is breeze and you could also have custom recovery and custom rom

By the way rooting via fastboot is easy
You have fastboot but can you confirm that it's locked or unlocked
I mean dump the system image and try to flash it via fastboot
Also your device will only get some roms like miui cuz there is no other phone with a msm 8228 chipset
Just hope it's compatible with msm 8226 so you will have a lot of roms
(for this risk I changed my future phone to LG L90)
If you can flash the dumped system image then it's unlocked

Is the bootloader locked still?
If unlocked, try pushing twrp recovery with adb and install a custom ROM from twrp. If you can do that, you could recover it back to stock.
If bootloader is locked, try adb to reflash stock recovery and install a genuine OS from SD.
You may have messed up the partitioning..
Nope

I had the same issue when attempting to update to MM (probably because I stupidly tried flashing the OTA package through TWRP).
You need to get into fastboot mode (power + volume up I think), once you're in there push ADB commands as follows:
*I'm skipping bootloader unlock because I did that long ago, can't remember the process*
-After you have downloaded a stock recovery and the ROM of your choice push the following command: adb flash recovery yourrecovername.img
-When that's done and your ROM is on your SD card in the dload folder, press and hold both volume buttons + power, an EMUI screen will pop up and the device will start updating / restoring.
REMEMBER: Plug the phone out of the PC before you perform the "update", otherwise the progress will get stuck at 5%.

Help Moto G stoping in "Warning BootLoader"

Hello guys! I'm on a G 2015 bike to find a way around it. Good tried the procedures without unlocking the bootloader, but without success! Then I went and I was able to unlock Bootloader and repeat the process to install Roo Stock. But to no avail as well. Does anyone have any tips for solving this problem?
I would guess it stops in bootloader because it doesn't like the rom you've flashed.
Did you flash TWRP?
Boot to TWRP and clean flash something else.
Else flash TWRP and then do that.
Hi there! I had the same problem, but the solution was just wait. It took a full 5 minutes to boot since the warning appeared, but it worked fine. Give it a try, wait 5 minutes (literally) and see what happens. If it still stuck, then try the solution above.

I don't think your bootloader is unlocked.
Have you unlocked your bootloader using the Motorola site? No other method will work.
https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-a
which recovery are you using - copy/paste full module name.
The bootloader has been unlocked by the motorola website! When I insert the cell phone, the message appears that the bootloader is unlocked.

"when you insert the cell phone" into what?
EDITED POST FOR WINDOWS:
for windows I think type cmd in search bar, right click on cmd.exe and choose administrative (you may have to enter a password) and do everything in that window.
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
but first tell me exactly which twrp you are using - one is bad.
Better than that just grab the latest from squid and use that. I know it's good.
When it flashes successfully, DO IT AGAIN - don't ask why, just do it - same command.
THEN boot to TWRP and backup your stock if you still have one.
Then and only then, wipe and flash whatever your heart desires.
@Jdoria Please attach the output of "fastboot getvar all"
@KrisM22 "sudo" wont do anything, this is WINDOWS, not Linux.

Yeah I put a note at the bottom of that post for that. My bad.
Hi I ran cmd.exe in managed mode. Is there any method to format the data of the phone and install everything from scratch?

You need to run it in administrative mode.
