Is the bootloader locked still?
If unlocked, try pushing twrp recovery with adb and install a custom ROM from twrp. If you can do that, you could recover it back to stock.
If bootloader is locked, try adb to reflash stock recovery and install a genuine OS from SD.
You may have messed up the partitioning..

Nope

I had the same issue when attempting to update to MM (probably because I stupidly tried flashing the OTA package through TWRP).
You need to get into fastboot mode (power + volume up I think), once you're in there push ADB commands as follows:
*I'm skipping bootloader unlock because I did that long ago, can't remember the process*
-After you have downloaded a stock recovery and the ROM of your choice push the following command: adb flash recovery yourrecovername.img
-When that's done and your ROM is on your SD card in the dload folder, press and hold both volume buttons + power, an EMUI screen will pop up and the device will start updating / restoring.
REMEMBER: Plug the phone out of the PC before you perform the "update", otherwise the progress will get stuck at 5%.

Erased Internal storage by accident- what now?

Hi, I assume there are some posts about this thing already but I've already read some and I'm still stuck >.<
So- I had TWRP 2.8.6.0 and Exodus ROM, was going to wipe data, dalvik etc in order to flash a different ROM, but by accident i wiped internal storage.
So I went into fastboot mode, connected the device to my PC (already got adb in my pc). did <fastboot oem unlock> ,pushed a ROM and Gapps, and flashed a twrp (using fastboot command to flash recovery.img).
then I used <fastboot reboot recovery>, and the phone stays @ fastboot mode, and i get this-

could anyone please guide me through this mess I've made?

If you were rooted already why did you unlock your phone again? why did you flash a recovery again. If you were rooted and wiped everything how did you accomplish that? Through recovery I assume correct? Sorry just trying to fully understand what you are doing.
If you were already rooted it should be boot into recovery then push a rom and gapps over then flash
Are you holding the right keys down to boot into recovery vol - and Power
Hope you made a backup. All you need to do is flash a ROM, though if you wiped internal you may as well return to stock.

Need help to Unbrick Huawei mate 8 NXT-L09C185

Hi, this is my first post on XDA after following it closely for a few years.
I currently have a problem with my Huawei Mate 8 after trying to get a custom ROM up and running.
I have unlocked the Bootloader (verified with fastboot) via fastboot after getting the code from DC-Unlocker.
I then flashed TWRP custom recovery successfully. This is when i made a mistake.
I accidentally wiped something i should not have under advanced wipe after trying to get twrp to read storage.
After this i could no longer go into TWRP and the phone would try to boot after showing the unlocked bootloader warning only hanging on a black screen.
Only fuctions I can access is Fastboot Mode and Erecovery (Which I tried to recover from but it would only return a "Cannot find package information error" after trying to retrieve it.
I then tried to unpack an official firmware from the Huawei stock firmware thread and install the pieces separately. This is where I am stuck.
Via fastboot all .img packages i needed succeeded except for "cust.img" giving me an error: "remote: sparse flash write failure" and when trying to erase cust.img i get "Command not allowed"
I hope it can be saved.
Use srk tools to and use unbrick method. It will work for you.

What about your phone model?
NXT-L09, NXT-L29, NXT-AL10, NXT-CL00, NXT-DL00 or NXT-TL00

Flashing TWRP Berlin (3.1) guides to "Huawei eRecovery" anyway...

Hi guys.
Trying to install TWRP 3.1 for Nougat.
Everything goes fine (flashing, etc..) till the moment I "fastboot reboot".
Instead of prompting TWRP, I enter the "Huawei eRecovery"...
Is the stock rom replacing recovery at boot?
Does anyone know how to fix it?
I need it of course to install SuperSU and get rooted.
Thanks.
Just shut down device, and then press power+volume up button until a message is shown. Then you're in TWRP. You don't need fastboot for that.

Thank you for replying, but you do get my point.
after flashing TWRP 3.1, I enter recovery as you wrote.
The problem is that I see this
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

Not TWRP.
I don't understand why the recovery changes to stock one.
I wrote "fastboot mode" because it is part of the procedure to install recovery through ADB.
And everything seems to be fine UNTIL I write the last command to enter recovery (of course I need an ADB command to exit and reboot in recovery).
Probably TWRP isn't being installed properly. What command did you use?
(already installed on my pc drivers and ADB tools)
from the beginning:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
(Once TWRP is successfully flashed) fastboot reboot
Then volume+ and power button
Well, that worked for me always. I don't know what is happening. Maybe a dev could help you.
I hope someone of them is reading this thread...

Are you on Nougat and EMUI 5?
Which TWRP image recovery did u install? Berlin 3.1?
Yes, EMUI 5, TWRP berlin 3.1. It worked with versions B342 and B360. I succesfully used Revolution recovery from P9 lite too, before TWRP 3.1 was released for our device.

Long wait over! Finally working TWRP for Micromax Infinity N12
- Full Treble Support
-Capability to flash all GSI
-ADB fully working
- Latest version 3.1.1
- MTP
- Encryption ( can be fixed but causes problems like battery drain)
-This image didn't boot for some people. This is due to the some vendor patches from an OTA update. To install TWRP just install the stock firmware and follow the steps below. (just don't allow the phone to install the OTA update or else the vendor patches will come back)
- Install stock rom before flashing TWRP.
- Enable OEM Unlocking
- Type the following commands
fastboot oem unlock
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot reboot
recovery.img
drive.google.com

@lopestom for the base TWRP that I ported
Works well, just encryption needs to be done

Sorry for the late reply.
Which way did you use to flash twrp? Sp flash tool or fastboot mode? If you used fastboot use it in the exact same way
Fastboot oem unlock
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Fastboot reboot
After that don't let the phone reboot. Immidialy after executing the command fastboot reboot, press the power and volume up, and select recovery.
If still not successful, first flash the stock recovery and then the twrp
Edit : oh sorry I didn't see that you fixed it

[solved + how i solved it] the current image(boot/recovery) have been destroyed

so, i was trying to install twrp, but i made a stupid mistake, instead of fastboot flash recovery i did fastboot flash boot, now it tells me: "the current image(boot/recovery) have been destroyed", when i go into bootloader, and attack the cable (both before and after) restarts itself.
things I tried: flash the original boot (it gave "FAILED (Write to device failed (no link))", obviously before the bootloader happened) change usb cable, flash the stock rom (obviously before the bootloader happened)), redownload adb /fastboot drivers, phone drivers, and google drivers. this is all i remember trying to do, i'm desperate, could someone help me please?
update: now i can use bootloader
update: I fixed it, in case this situation happened to you, I solved it like this: I had a windows update, while it was doing it, I connected the phone to the pc, in the end it no longer rebooted by itself (the phone) , then do fastboot flash boot (original boot), if it doesn't work, reboot the bootloader , from the bootloader, if it doesn't work, do the same thing downloading the drivers again, then do fastboot flash boot (original boot.img), if you want to download costum recovery, do fastboot flash recovery (costum recovery.img). I fixed it like this, now I have a costum recovery, costum rom and root!
Hello friend, I have a question. I closed the bootloader and when I closed it, the recovery image was destroyed.
Now I can't enter my cell phone and it stays in an infinite boot
any solution with locked bootloader

I don't understand if the recovery works or not, it's a bootloop with locked bootloader and you can go into recovery or locked bootloader without accessing recovery? you are confusing me, however, if you have access to recovery download the stock rom from the recovery, if not, try to unlock the bootloader again by doing fastboot flashing unlock, then flash the stock recovery and then download the stock rom from the recovery
And how do you enter that mode without the application?
enter bootloader and do fastboot reboot recovery, in bootloader you can't perform flashing actions and many other things (bootloader locked) but some things, like reboot should work
in case you get the same error for the recovery you have to unlock the bootloader again
Can I send you a private message?
yes
Did you solve it? I'm facing the same issue.

I am having trouble understanding what you did exactly. I am getting this same error with a Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite.
Edit: got it working by disconnecting all usb ports and trying another port.
