The down firing speaker on the op6 is not that loud. Is it possible for someone to create a mod to increase the volume or use the earpiece speaker as secondary speaker??

I m wainting for my replacement phone and can t try for the moment. You can compare the note 8 file and the 1+6 one to try yourself. Otherwise, wheni will receive mine, i will try and if all run as expected, i will share.

Thanks, but i'm not sure if it works for op6 because I think different speakers are used. Not an expert here, but it might damage the speakers if the configuration is not compatible with the speakers.
On a side note, if there's gonna be development please post in the mods forum.
FYI OOS doesn't have a mixer_paths.xml file the only thing I see that might work is the audio_policy.conf file but it's highly unlikely. Not sure about LOS, but that might have a mixer_paths file

I have the t-mobile g1, android 2.2.1 and i am interested are there any flash player apks that still work on this device, because i have downloaded several apk files from variuos sources, wich according to the comments worked for people. for me they either do not install or they install and can not be opened, don't work etc. maybe somebody knows what might be the issue or sources that can still provide a working flash player file?

Ok, let's do this.
Now we need to find a device similar to note 3 in architecture with Cm port already done. After that we should examine and compare the boot and recovery images of note 3 and said device for the requisites. S4 can be a pretty good base for the purpose. Remember, this step is crucial to get boot.
I'm busy for tomorrow. I will setup the environment day after tomm. and examine the images myself.

We would be needing a kernel developer. Try to find one. I did a rough port of S4's Cm11 but the device is bootlooping. That is expected as the kernel i'm using is stock one.

Why to waste time for CM when touch wiz is awesome. I have used CM before I didn't like it. Camera is not good enough, also pen is having less support...

Doesn't hurt to have more than one choice of rom my friend
I've unpacked boot.img's of note 3's stock and S4's Cm11. I can see some init file differences of both the architectures. Let's see if my modified boot.img is booting the device or not. :good:
i've send a PM to @codexc - hope he can help us with the KERNEL.

something is wrong with the file. Google Drive says "file not found".
Will S pen will work? with all options? (Smart select, Action memo etc)
Anybody tested the rom in detail? Is "active display" working?
Where will be the notifications shown if "edge" is not working? (e.g. S Pen removed)

Edge display doesn´t work. See OP.
Ambilight Display works.
Gestures are not working.
Performance is better than stock Samsung.
HW-Buttons have different function now.

Hey. the generic.kl method works. The Haptic feedback works fine, but the recent app key has become a menu key. Another thing i noticed was that when i remove the s pen, the touch keys work fine even before the generic.kl modifications. but they only worked with the s pen not with the finger.

As far as I have looked for, there is no available solution: Wanam module requires xposed, which is not yet available for our S6 64 bits architecture, Alliance fwk announces the feature but it is not active,
So I decided to implement the solution based on the tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/development/guide-add-toggle-to-bypass-email-t3129898
I can't get the app working on the phone (it crashes). I suspect that zipalign is doing 32 bits alignment whereas the S6 is 64 bits. I found no indications on Android dev site...
So can anyone help me to get S6 app recompiled and working correctly on the device.
I know that exchange security bypass is an expected feature, so I would try helping to get it quickly

Thanks for having done it! But the tutorial does not describe how to compile/decompile. I used apktool to do it but the app was crashing on my phone. So I am curious to know the procedure to be able to do it my self

Confirmed working on my S6 Port (S4 I9506) , nice to see someone quickly help people and do things like this, and many more gets help.
i rquest developers to please port g7,g6,g8 v30 rom for our v20.my variant is h990n dual sim.not much development nor porting has been done to this great device it is better than g5/g6.but lack of development support.
I think this kind of post is silly, but in this case it gave me the opportunity to mention something potentially interesting.
There was another dev working on G5 previously, he said that the LG "G7 Fit" would be a great device to make a port from, because
it uses the SD821 (basically the same as g5,g6,v20). The difference is it has much newer LG framework, PIE (probably by now, or soon)
and maybe some other desirable stuff.
Since it's SD821 it will be easy/easier/possible..? to port. IDK, if I could I would try, but I know next to nothing about that stuff.
That was a while ago, 'G7 Fit' didn't have any KDZ available then so he couldn't get the files he needed. They are available now though.
Oh, and this "request" doesn't belong in this subforum I believe.

You are probably right about the thread but first here I want to ask for bounty if you had a look to the kdz. I have not looked but I assume bounty has a bit at least. I told him what you said before and this is what he said.

I have that kdz already but i cant extract it with any available tool tried almost everything any suggestion?

Both @runningnak3d and Astrako has modified kdztools to extract the newer kdz's. Look at their github.
I wonder if not S.A.L.T. can do it too.

Okay, this just got exciting.
Ok I will try my best to make a mod not rom as I suck at rom making but do have a idea which is to extract files from the rom for the g5 that is ported from g7 so I will force flash it and try to boot then go to twrp and then extract most of the system files to be able to successfully make a mod then flash it on my phone and see if it works hooray! in theory it should
Edit: If I dont boot it will not show me system files (Its ok even if it crashes)
