It slows the phone down though. Read the warning on Substratum.

Prob with phones with low ram, I have not noticed any slow down at all, even on my op3, u will be fine using the rooted version. Also it's talking about the app being laggy not ur phone

I don't take credit, I just got it from one of the 4.4 threads.https://app.box.com/s/y3fp3vd3pd10rfuvgx4i
Just flash the zip in recovery and you are good to go. Works only on kitkat roms. An additional google phone dialer will appear in the app drawer.
Is this a flashable file?
At least you can do is tell us if its working or has a bug or two?

Yes, I am using it all the time. It adds a google dialer app in addition to your aosp dialer.
I updated the op with more details and interactions.

New Unbrick method for unlocked phones?

I recently saw the post below which suggest different method for Unbricking the phone. It uses "flashing transfer package" which is only 20Kb! and needs to be installed with a very strange method. The good thing about this method is you don't need to unlock your device which sounds very promising for people like me.
http://pantomath.xyz/how-to-unbrick-honor-6-from-android-m/
However, It didn't work for me maybe because I have H60-L02 instead of L04
I just wonder is anybody tried this method? Is there anyway I can make my own transfer package for my phone?
I explained my problem in this thread in details:

Yes. I guess it's probably for different device as mine is H60-L02
You can try to reset your phone to factory settings by going to the recovery menu... then try this again...it's for h60 global... 807,805,804,810...but i don't know about h60-l02...maybe you are right...but it worth it to try...

Still doesn't work....
Do you know why the boot screen of my phone changed after I upgrade it with OTA rom? It doesn't show the Huawei logo anymore. I attached it for your consideration.

We can set aside UI for now. EMUI 5 looks clean for me. What's important is the new delicious features from O.

This thread is in a wrong section, it should be in news since that you don't need any kind of help with this thread. You're a member of XDA from a while now, you should be aware of these basic and easy rules...
I don't like this. They should at least move away from mimicking iOS.

[Boot Animation] Energy Star PC BIOS (original by Caferacer)

I edited Caferacer's boot animation and updated it to fit the Oneplus 6's specs, however there is a white line to the left of the screen during part0. I figured out what is causing this problem. An issue with transparency? I plan on making various versions with correct specs for all of the Oneplus 6 models.

I didn't see a way to attach a file.
Once I have the white bar problem solved I will make all of the versions of it.
