Honor 6x issue with Tmobile - Honor 6X Questions & Answers

I have been having issue with TMobile with Honor 6x where I can't receive any sms and phone call till I reboot the phone. I even switchy sim card to slot 2 and the issue is even worse. Can it be the phone issue or the sim. It is getting so bad that I decide it is time to back up the phone and factory reset. Honor 6x have it's own backup software in the phone. Should I use that or get the titanium backup? What would be the main difference.

i get this message when i call my phone or try calling from my phone "we could not complete your call, please try again"
its weird it will off and on let me call out from my phone. but cant get calls or texts
going to the store where i got it tomorrow.
anything have something similar happen?
Sounds like a hardware problem. DEMAND FOR A REPLACEMENT!
When I bought my second N4, I had a similar problem. It would connect to 2G but never 3G. LG replaced the whole unit for me
no wonder why he traded his n5..
Maybe issue is with the sim card. Tried another one?
I had a similar issue with a phone last year - turned out it was my Sim Card as mentioned above. To be on the safe side I would contact your carrier, request a new sim card but also request a new handset. A new sim card should only take two days to come maximum and you should not be charged for this, providing you are on contract and paying monthly.
+2 on the sim idea

Mate 7 - no sim card deteced?

Hello,
today I bought an Mate 7 (secondhand). The Mate 7 is working fine so far but it isnt recognizing my SIM Card!? I tried several SIM Cards but always the same problem "no simcard inserted" and i can only do emergency calls.
Luckily I got the original bill ... do i really have to send it to huawei for a repair? (still got warranty) or is this a known problem and i can fix it by my own?
Greetings from Germany
Yes, you have to. Furthermore, it is secondhand. You don't know what the other guy did with the sim card slot
In my case everything was working fine, just a battery drain issue which led me to upgrade to lollipop and then it was still working great, reception has even become better. Then for some stupid reason I decided to downgrade back to kk and flashed b300, after this flash everything worked fine and I proceed to flash b137 which was there originally when I purchased it. Flashing went smooth but... no sim card detected.

Xperia Z5 E6653 SIM CARD ISSUE

Hey there, everyone.
I've had my Z5 for over a year now, it's been running completely fine and have been happy with the phone. However last Wednesday my SIM card doesn't seem to work anymore. Let me rephrase that, the Z5 no longer reads the sim card. I have tested the SIM on two other phones ( one Locked to O2 and one Unlocked) and the SIM does work on both.
I've tried many things such as :
Searching Google + XDA, however the threads seem to be 2-3 years old.
Hard resetting the phone
Taking the SIM card out and gently cleaning it
Upgraded phone to 32.2.A.5.11
Downgraded the phone to 32.1.A.1.163
Tried to turn the Radio ON in the *#*#4636#*#* , didn't do anything, won't turn ON.
doing a factory reset did not work.
I am beginning to think the SIM card slot inside the phone is somehow damaged or moved position.
Any ideas? I'm stuck.
Guess it's an hardware problem, if so, you're screwed but if you have a warranty (seller or Sony) try to use it, I can't help you further sorry mate

Question Problem with new Flip 4?

A family member is trading in an unlocked flip 3 for an unlocked flip 4, the flip 4 arrived on the 23rd. I popped in the sim card from the 3 and rebooted and could not receive calls. I placed a call from the phone and it worked, then I called it again and the call went through just fine, so I am thinking that it registered on the network and all is OK. A few hours later I called the 4 again, and the call did not go through... This is still happening today (the 28th) if I reboot the phone it works (for a few hours). I took the sim out of the 4 and put it back in the 3 and it works just fine. So, I don't know if the problem exists with the phone or with T-Mobile. It is on a pre paid TMO connect plan, so getting someone to look at this might be difficult as pre paid seems to be looked down upon with TMO.
EDIT: I just tried calling the old phone (flip 3) and again the call did not go through, but it did receive a text, and then I was able to call it....Sim card?

I'd say call the cell provider, they might have to reset something - I had similar problem in the past and it was easily fixed.
^This^ and try a network reset, clear SIM toolkit data.
Replace sim card if these don't work; handle the sim card like a stick of ram. They can be damaged by ESD. While they are dirt cheap, a partial failure can be a pain to chase down. Any failure can leave you with no service. ESD damage may show up immediately or days, months even years latter. Almost all sim card failures are due to ESD. Most techs mishandle them; use ESD handling protocols.
