Twrp 3.0.2 stuck

Hi
I install tarp 3.0.2 and when I want to flash cm13 on my mi4i it give me this error:
updater process ended with error: 7
error installing zip file '/sdcard/....
updating partition details....
what should I do?

I checked the size of the file with the original site, its ok,
I read about change in partitions... but I can't find a solution for my mi4i.

I wiped my data partition, then its installed the package , but its now stuck on the blue face icon....

Try using another TWRP Recovery version

I flash again and its work ok now.

Hello. I was encrypting my phone using android setting feature. It started to encrypt then it rebooted and it was on honor logo. I have twrp and unlocked bootloader and rooted.
Any solutions?

I guess you could try to boot into TWRP --> Wipe --> Format Data --> Ext4(if it asks)
Or try to re-install stock firmware with some official way or in TWRP by following this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-4x/how-to/install-emui-4-1-4x-4c-g-play-g-play-t3515702

Just recheck URL you have copied it from quoted text which removes text in between the URL .
Copy it directly from the browser URL.

that did not work.... i got original recovery back but when im trying to install update.app it fails at 5%.
any ideas?

oh i forgot one thing i had to format cache before boot. (when i was reading the post something started to fly very loudly in my room so i got scared xD) now it works fine.

Did you get build number back correctly or do you have banlong bug?

I downloaded this http://download969.mediafire.com/xqlhgoufnstg/w9ms2fh8fr0atxi/updateappflasher.zip
And then I downloaded UPDATE.APP and moved it into that zip file and then I mounted all partitions and flashed normally using twrp. Before first boot format cache and data. Also you need unlocked bootloader.

Did you flash lazy flasher ?
6.6 worked for me. But I couldn't set up the device cause " device locked". I even tried to unlock it via i.mi.com but I already unbinded rn5 from it.
Someone got a solution? I can't connect to WiFi caus it's not opening the settings....

BTW I lost my TWRP after flashing. Just bare in mind on this. I need to fastboot flash the recovery after dirty flash this update.

Dirty flashed over 8.5.31 worked fine
TWRP stayed for me - but I flashed lazy flasher a few roms earlier

For me it's 15 days (360 hours) until I can unlock

I unlocked installed the twrp from xiaomi.eu wiped data and attempted to install the rom, but the phone keeps booting back to recovery and will not start up

You need to format data and then install the right ROM for your device.

TWRP from xiaomi eu? I'm not sure but i guess you need to flash vbmeta.img too.....
Try that if format /data doesn't work.

Do NOT touch system
now flash zip file
wen done
reboot twrp
do the same step again as above
(dont flash flashing zip file again)
wen done reboot to system

That was the problem I wiped data instead of Formatting. Thanks for reminding me. Everything is good for now.

If what you flashed is smaller than the partition then the old AVB0 footer from the stock recovery is there.
That wouldn't agree with the position of the new AVB0 header for TWRP.
Or maybe you're supposed to defeat AVB somewhere?

the file weighs 50 kb (I don't know what to do because it's the first time I enter the world of modding)

@gerryscottiano instead of asking this question in a new thread, it would be a better idea to ask in the thread where you got TWRP from.

Also, the TWRP image for this device is about 42MB, not 50KB.

so, i downloaded odin3, i put the file in the ap and i removed the auto reboot option and i connected the phone in download-mode

when I try to reboot into recovery it gives me the error, the odin version is 3.14.4 and I installed it from here: https://samfw.com/Odin/Samfw.com_Odin3_v3.14.4.zip

AFAIK there is no 3.14.4, the latest Odin is 3.14.1.
I recommend you get rid of that and use the latest from this thread

I have a problem, I was trying to flash the recovery with the odin3 that you sent me but the oem block has been activated again and now that I have accepted to delete all the data it doesn't work for me in the firmware because there is the error of the recovery, how do I do?
