Problem with flash stock .54 rom - Xperia Z5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I need reflash the firmware on my phone, but I can not flash the new firmware. I get a bug The bundle does not match the connected device. Any installation of custom rom will end with bootloop. The problem occurred after deodex stock rom. How can I get my phone back on? Thank you very much.

Problem solved

Hey, how did you solve the problem? I am facing same. I have a z5 E6603 I am sure it is 03, I flashed a lot of roms and today tried to flash original firmware via flashtool. It gave same error. I realized that it recognized my device as E6653. I thought that was a problem with build.prop, manually edited and tried to flash again, did not work. I wiped system partition and retried, did not work. I end up with carbon rom. How can I flash the ftf for 6603? Help me please. BTW I am using linux (to be more specific arch linux) and installed flashtool via AUR. Can this be a problem? Thanks

First I formatted a partition and then I installed AOSP ROM, for example Resurrection Remix. Than I ran mobile without setting an account, etc. Then I flashed the stock firmware.

Quick firmware related question

Hey guys, just a quick question, must we always flash the firmware zip file first in bootloader before flashing a custom rom?
I ask this because I had already flashed the latest firmware (3.33.401.6) ages ago, I've been using albinoman887's CM 10.2 rom and Carbon Rom without any problems (well actually, I do have battery issues and 2 small minor issues). But today, I decided to check my firmware version using fastboot command
fastboot getvar version-main
Click to collapse
and I got something like 1.24.401.1.
Well, that's obviously wrong, so I flashed the firmware again and this time it shows the proper version.
So I was just wondering, does doing a full wipe or flashing a new rom affect the firmware at all? Must we flash it everytime prior to flashing a new rom? I don't understand how my firmware was changed even though all I've been doing is switching between JB custom roms.
doesn't affect the firmware at all
i don't know why it showed you that firmware version
flashing any custom rom doesn't affect firmware
there is no need to change it every time you are flashing a new rom
now leave it as it is

No radio or service what so ever....

Hello everyone. So here's my problem, i was flashing the android marshmallow rom that was just ported over to our lovely phone. I got it to work, it booted, ran smooth the only problem was i had no service at all. i still have my baseloader and imei but my service state says radio off. i did do a backup of my efs before i flashed marshmallow but it didnt work. i just reflashed it to Oxygen os and it still says radio off. ive tired flashing modems but i dont exactly know which one to flash. ive tried flashing other roms but to no avail. i really need my phone so any help would be greatly appreciated
Did you try moving to older versions of the OS.
Try doing following
1. Install any Android 5.1.1 firmware. This should restore the Radio
2. Install any suitable radio/modem explicitly
Let us know if it helps. Best of luck dude

I have to fresh install the ROM on my OPO because I got it bricked so I followed this guide now my radio still doesn't work and the phone is constantly rebooting. The issues came out just like @agentxur did
Considering that you still have your baseband and IMEI (You're Lucky ), you can just flash 44S Modem via Fastboot or full CM12.1 Firmware. I will leave out a link for 44S Modem down.
44S Modem: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95784891001607675
PS: Flash it through FASTBOOT only!!! Else won't work
I hope the method pointed out by Sanjiv Kumar helped you. Whatever your feedback let the members know.

I just recently installed Linux on my laptop so I don't have fastboot right now but I actually read somewhere that twrp 2.8.7.0 (which I was using with multirom) won't flash modems or radios correctly so I reflashed 2.8.6.0 with rasher app and it worked. Thanks tho

Can't return from aosp 7.1.1 custom rom to 6.0.1 stock rom

Well, i've flashed an aosp 7.1.1 firmware to my z3 UB but the battery drains fast and the camera is too dark, so, i want to return to 6.0.1 sony stock rom but i flashed 6.0.1 kernel (fastboot) and flashed the rom (recovery) and bootloop occurs after that.
Any suggestion? help
You must flash stock firmware with flashtool
I have the same problem, but i fix it:
1. You need to flash some android 7.x.x non-aosp(lineageos, etc) rom.
2. Then flash nailyk's recovery - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767124626 (ONLY WITH FASTBOOT,NO ZIP)
3. Then from this recovery wipe data cache and dalvik.
4 Then try flahs .ftf with flashtool.
If all this do not work you need to download and install official flashtool EMMA form Sony - http://developer.sonymobile.com/open-devices/flash-tool/how-to-download-and-install-the-flash-tool/ and then flash with last ftf in this programm. After flashing in EMMA you'l be able to flash .ftf in Flashtool... Please say thanks if i help u)))

I used FlashTool from PixN Rom 7.1.1 , to get stock rom. Worked.
I flashed the 7.1.1 AOSP, had no battery drain or any other problems/bugs. Was a good rom. But decided to go back to stock 5.1.1, mostly because of Sony DRM keys. Unlocked my bootloader but forgot to backup the keys. Good thing is that there is a fix for that, if you didnt back them up. Only on stock Sony firmware you can get them back.
The easiest way to fix the dark camera issue and the Sony special "things", you need to be on stock and restore DRm keys or flash the DRM fix.
Use flashtool to flash stock ftf, than just flash recovery via fastboot and download any rom you want to flash after that.
I recommend flashing stock 5.1.1 than custom 5.1.1 or MM.
Dont forget flashing SuperSU
Hope this helped you. If you need recovery img i can upload it for you.

Can't flash stock firmware

Hi! A while ago I decided to flash TWRP and a custom rom (LineageOS) onto my S7. After a while I decided that I would prefer the stock OS. So I tried flashing the stock ROM with Odin and a zip file downloaded from SamMobile. But it would always fail when it got up to flashing system.img. So I tried another firmware using SamFirm, the same problem persisted. So I tried flashing the stock ROM using FlashFire, but no partitions showed up. Smart Switch and Kies 3 just said that my device is not compatible. If anyone can help me, it would be massively appreciated.
P.S. I am doing everything right, I've done this exact process on many other Samsung phones.
Are you extracting the AP, BL, CP and CSC files from the zip, or just putting the zip straight into Odin?
