Flash SM-G955U with SM-G955F stock rom - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

I wonder if it would be possible to flash a SM-G955U with a SM-G955F firmware?
It's just because the F contains languages that are not available (or at least not fully available) in the U version.
Thanks for reply

1 question I'm on your 5.1.1 talexop how can I use ur 6.0.1 since I can't update from phone, I can't find answers because I'm lost

Sorry but I do not understand exactly what you want to do... Are you already to 6.0.1 or 5.1.1 .... This kernel only works with 6.0.1 and must be flashed from TWRP.... Also you will need to root it afterwards using the link in first page..
Teşekkürler

Are you with 6.0.1 rom?
If so then the main idea is that you will have to flash my kernel and then su chainfire 2.71 from recovery..

I have not unlocked it, EVA-L09C432B137, I got it 2 weeks ago.
It was a minor update on 99.43 MB
The change log shows the following:
The update fixes a problem with the network connection.
[Optimizations]
Some feature descriptions are optimized for Swedish as system languages.
[Correction]
One problem with some users could not access the internet for some operator networks in Montenegro.
If anyone gets an update notification then please snatch the hicare download link. Thanks.

Newbie Questions

Hey, I have a Galaxy S7 SM-G930F. I live in Portugal and a few months ago I rooted and then tried to unroot it but it went wrong and it got softbricked so i had to install a new rom from sammobile, but I installed a rom for my device and country but a random carrier and I still dont have the Android Nougat (my friend has one aswell and it has already updated).
Because my friend already has the update he sent me his rom and i installed it but it shows me the old rom model when i check for updates manually. In odin I only uploaded the AP file, do I need to upload the rest?
Btw how hard is it to hardbrick my s7 and how much to repair it?
Cheers!
Edit:
What does the smart switch icon means on the rom page and the diffrent letters after the name of my carrier like "TCL" "TPH" etc

My carrier is Nos (we already have on sammobile the nougat of the TPH) so..
. I flashed the TPH whitout problem, I had use CSC_HOME file.... it will wipe all you internal data and you have to setup from begin. In the future I will get OTA updates from TPH.

You can flash direct on your pie, but back just in case it wipes, but pie on pie built shouldn't be a problem

Do I need to check OEM unlocking to flash with Odin from beta Pie ZRLF to CRLI? Or do I loose all my apps and data, even if I flash the HOME_CSC ?
Please advice since I don't want to lose data.

You should check the OEM Unlocking.
Using the Home_CSC file, you should not lose any data.
