Mi4 hard brick and onlys red Led blinks - Xiaomi Mi 4i

Hi guys
My device is Mi4W 3G/16G. That morning i got up and turned on my phone but the screen was black and could not turn it on.Then I used MiSuitePC to fastboot. It automatically downloaded and flash Rom (seem it was China Rom but my device used Global Rom). But after flashing the device didn't boot up. So I tried to flash Rom by test point .It was successfully flashed by test point. But i still can't turn it on. I put it on charge, the red Led blinks. Connects and then disconnects when using data cable to connect with PC. The connect-disconnect loop goes on for as long as it isn't unplugged. Now, i cannot enter fastboot mode or recovery . Does it has hardware issues such as Pin, main,.. ?. Anyone encountered this problem?
Thanks.

I met the same problem but I don't know how to solve it

I know I may be 4 years too late, but this is usually an issue of an overdischarged battery, maybe leave it on a charger or open the device and check the battery voltage.

[Q] disabling charging mode

hey,
my callphone (samsung galaxy s captivate) restarts by itself sometimes (~once a week or 2). i can live with that , but my problem is when it restarts like that while i'm asleep , and the phone is connected to the charger, because what happens then is that it enters charging mode (when the screen shows a big recharging battery) instead of just restarting and booting to the OS (and as a result , the alarm doesnt wake me up).
my question is: is there any way to change that behavior ? i mean is it possible to make the phone turn on and boot to the OS if it was turned off and then connected to a charger (or restarted while connected to a charger) ? is it the kernel or the hardware that makes to boot into the charging mode instead of the OS ?
thanks

Might Be a hardware issue. You can Try Wipeing Data But if you are rooted or not stock rom use Recovery.

it probably a hardware issue (the restarting) .. i'm using custom rom, and i tried 2 roms (and i wiped everything including formatting system partition) but the problem is still there . thats the reason i'm trying to find a work around .
if its the kernel that makes the phone boot into charging mode when it gets connected to charger while turned off, then i guess its possible to change the functionality and make it boot the OS instead of the charging mode. but if its the hardware then i'm doomed.
google didn't help me so i posted here hopping that kernel developers answer my question.
thanks for the reply
Don't knows hat to tell ya then kernels do that sometimes.
Sent from my LG-LG730 using xda app-developers app
i eventually found nomoahpowa! that can do what i was looking for, but its not working on JB .. is there anyone here that knows how can i do something similar ? (i'm a computer science student, i can code)

[Problem] Blank Screen / 3 blinking red lights

Hello!
I was messaging on my phone normally when I decided to put it down a little. Few seconds later when I got it on my hand, the Z5 was not working. The screen was blank and I couldn't do anything. I could see that the phone was ON because I could see the LED on the screen when the lights on my room was off. I tried pratcally everything, but the screen never showed any images. (I even tried the Restoration through the Sony Companion). It's a new phone. I bought it 3 days ago and this happened.
I record a video showing the problem with my other smartphone. If your guys knows how to fix it, please help me! I seriously don't want to go through the process of getting a new one through the warranty.
Video below:

Hey, I had this problem while I unlocked my bootloader and as soon as I installed super su I got the same thing. But in your case it could be just need to charge it for a while.
To fix it get flashtool and a rom you want to install using flashtool. I had locked my bootloader again while doing this and my phone was fine. Although I had to install .185 rom not the latest 253 for some reason I got ta entry error. You can install the latest after that if you face such a problem
I had flashed the wrong version of super su which gave me this problem.
Based on your title (three red LED blinks), this could be an extremely low battery. Leave it plugged into the wall charger (NOT a laptop) for at least 8 hours, see what happens.

Issue with Asus Zenfone 3 Max ZC520TL

Hello all
just before i get started i did have a thread here regarding this issue before but sadly unable to find it now so seems i need to start over....
this is more of an update on what has been done so far but will just give detail about the issue from start
when this phone came to me it was not functioning i have no clue to what the wife done to it.... it appears that it may not be charging and something is stopping it from charging..... the charging indicator is on (( orange )) and the battery will display on screen with a lightening bolt in the center.... if i plug into laptop the laptop will sound off the USB connection and disconnection alert will do that 3 or 4 times
pressing power button will make phone vibrate and will display a battery with the lightening bolt assuming that means battery is flat as a pancake
holding volume up and power button brings me into the recovery option total of 3 options show 1) normal 2) fastboot 3) recovery whatever i select say for example recovery it will display the Asus and powered by Android this will last for about 3 to 5 seconds before going off again
so that is the state of the phone as of now and even after other things i have done as i will mention
in the past i have come across 2 phones with the very same issue the first one i flashed my self that phone only shown a charging indicator light but i found the flash tool and rom from the Alcatel website and it fixed the issue so assuming the same would apply with this Asus also the other phone i had with same issue was fixed with a flash
so here is what i have done so far using SP flash tools and following instructions from different places i have successfully flashed over the Stock Rom done it under download only also format + download and even tried firmware upgrade but i am still stuck with the same thing as mentioned above
obviously after flashing the phone it needs to power up to complete the setup process but as is clear i cannot do that if the battery has little to no juice
so what i am looking for is a solution to getting the phone to charge again or a way to charge the battery by other means (( bare in mind this phone has built in battery )) (( battery has been replaced new ))
what could be causing the phone to not charge or at least give battery the power it needs i ask because i do believe the phone is giving the battery some power but very little..... the way i look at this situation is like installing a sound card on a PC but not installing the driver the PC knows the sound card is there but cannot work without the driver same seems to apply with the phone
if i disconnect the battery from the main board the laptop will not pick up the phone even if i press down on the volume down button as i do when using SP flash and the orange charge light flashes so i don't see the issue being with mainboard but more likely a software glitch maybe the MTK chip is not doing its job properly or maybe it thinks the battery has full charge and stops the charger from adding more juice when in fact battery is flat
so can anyone enlighten me to what could be the problem and a solution
thanks in advance

eRecovery loop after battery change

Hello everyone!
I've had the Huawei Honor 8 for about 2.5 years now, like most other users my battery started to wear out (phone suddenly dying when opening camera/map apps, random shutdowns, taking about 10 mins even to charge to 1-2% etc).
The past few days i haven't been able to start my phone at all, it boots to eRecovery mode were i can choose "reboot" "shutdown" or "download latest version and restore". once or twice i managed to boot it properly but then it didn't charge over 5-6%.
I decided to order a new battery which I've just installed, the phone boots in the same loop and isn't recognized by my computer also the battery light on the front of the phone doesn't light up. Im starting to think that this is more of a software error than a hardware error? any suggestions? note that the phone is in its original state, i haven't flashed it or anything. all help would be appreciated.
While in recovery mode the phone seems to recognize the charger (small battery symbol in top right corner), ive also tried different chargers/cables. this would eliminate any charging port problems i reckon?
have a nice day!
What battery did you order? I hope it is not some Chinese fake battery, this would cause the problem probably.

Phone dosen't turn on,help!

Hello there,i am new out here and my native language isn't english so i am saying sorry by now.
My A7 2018 rested on my desk, with 10% battery, and suddently the phone shuts down.It has happened to me before, but somehow i was able to turn it on and didnt have problems since.
Sometimes the phone's battery ran out fast when it was like 30%.
I plugged in the charging cable and it showed me a charging-logo-like thing but i cannot post any links here since i am new.
I thought i drained out the phone's battery and i let it rest and charge for like 30 minutes.
I did a force boot thing where u hold the down and power buttons for 20 seconds but nothing happened.
Sometimes the phone turned on but closed back on at the booting where it showed powered by android.
I plugged in the phone into my computer and into device manager at other devices it showed me exynos7885.Usb debugging is off if that helps.
I called samsung support and they have told me to bring it in for warranty at my phone carrier where i brought it from but i can't bring it in because it is scrached and the camera back glass is cracked so it dosent meets the requirements for my warranty.
I have all my photos, phone numbers, conversations and passwords on it so please help because i didn't back them up!!!(lesson learned)
Please help!!!!
Try reflash stock rom with odin. As you cant get into download mode. You may have to use fastboot to boot into download mode.
its so easy, go to odin mode and make sure that you've already downloaded the stock rom and use odin for flashing. If you dont know how to use just search it on youtube or here in xda for guide.
