Any update instead of 5.1.5 ?
not yet
Coming soon next update include the return of scheduled do-not-disturb, boosted call and notification volume, the ability to add a numeric battery percentage indicator to the status bar, and a fix for a bug that can make audio cut out on speaker phone. OnePlus also confirmed it's working on the camera's dodgy autofocus,

Hope they put the battery percentage back, such a small thing I miss so much, otherwise hoping for further optimizations for camera and battery
I believe that's intended plus camera optimization and I've read portrait mode on selfie cam is being implemented as well so fingers crossed ?

I also tried the manual mode and I cant get it 100% blur free
I hope they fix volume as well even using headset at 100% it's far to quiet , and battery seems to drain from 100% 80% way to fast with little use in between ,let's hope it's soon

I guess that s7 have some special hardware to update display without using the processor (so it don't need to leave deep sleep)

Yeah i agree with you, let's hope for the best may be someone port it with less battery consumption ?
I wouldn't think it would be very hard...
My old Nokia C7 has an always on display feature built in (it has an OLED display) and it barley consumes battery.
I'm surprised such a feature is not widely implemented in phones with AMOLED displays these days.... given how AMOLED technology has advanced since the days of the Nokia C7 as well...

Thanks ALot....I will This
You don't need that app to enable the Glance feature; it's already baked in the OS:
Enable "Air Gesture" from the notification toggle, then hold the toggle to get to its settings and make sure "Quick Glance" is turned on...

You Tried this ?
You may have seen the 3d touch feature on iPhones or Pixel Phones which helps to work faster on apps.
For eg:- You can hold the gmail app for about 0.5 seconds and then just click on the compose option and you will be directly pushed to write a mail in the app.
So it helps to save a lot of time but not everybody own's an iPhone or A pixel phone But with the help of my video tutorial you can get the 3d touch feature on any Android device WITHOUT ROOT!
Here's the link - https://goo.gl/Y5Hhft
Hope you like it!

3D Touch is a hardware feature not a response to a long click.

Is there really a difference? I thought it was dumb when apple came out with it cause delay timers could do the same thing.. also does the pixel really have 3d touch?
Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
If this will work. Good job bro!
However, if this is force touch then it would be convincing. 3d touch requires hardware because it need to measure the distance between touch sensor secondary screen layer. However in force touch, yoh can measure the diameter of the touched are. So the lighter the touche, the smaller the diameter. The harder the touch the larger the diameter. And there is some sort of threshold to compensate the accuracy.

Hello everyone here and thanks for accept me in this great community.
My Xiaomi Mi A1 have a inaccurate tactile response when I play games with multi touch controls like Modern Combat 5 or Bullet Force. I don't use any screen protector like tempered glass or plastic films. I want to know if someone have the same problems, if this problem is a hardware or software issue and if someone find a solution.
Thanks.
Go to mi forum and raise a bug. No point telling here

Even I am facing the same problem. It was after that September update i guess. Any solutions?
+1
iilitec lcd
the touch is very wrong. it happens most of the times right at the central area of the screen.
-in shmup, ship jumps at random place while i swipe.
-in browser, scroll speed is slower than it should be. touch misses some inputs. then smooth, stutter, smooth again (as someone in this thread said).
-in browser or gallery i have rare but random 1-finger zoom.
coming from the galaxy s4, touch is very inaccurate. its not even as good as the S1.
so far
-the touch is meh
-the lcd colors is calibrated with "cold-to-death-blueish' preset
-the über-schnitzel double-camera is a troll
I have the other lcd screen so it's definitely software then, now we need xiaomi to actually listen and fix this. We all need to use the feed back app and tell them what's up

MOD by cstark27 Pixel3 Camera V9.1 "New All unlocked" Update: cstark27, 2018-12-23
For Pixel 1, 2, 3:
P3v9.1_GoogleCamera_6.1.021.apk
Update: (cstark27, 2018-12-23)
Download P3v9.1_GoogleCamera_6.1.021.apk:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603880856
-Disable HDR+ mode resetting for Pixel 1 when opening Camera
-Add "reduce contrast" option which loads a custom lib by Savitar to reduce black crush a little bit. I have not tested in all conditions.
Must uninstall old version due to signature change!

Super Zoom is definitely not working, but I'm glad to have Night Sight!
Does it support 8.1?
P3v6_GoogleCamera_6.1.013.apk
Uninstall old version. This has a different package name (to fix Lens). The new app is in your app drawer labeled CameraP3.
-Lens option in More
-Pixel 3 Portrait mode (which seems to only improve the rear lens Portraits, so no improvement on Pixel 1 probably)
-Removed HDR+ Options for now due to bugs/instability/confusion
Download: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410932744536992113
Annoyingly I still don't get hevc video working, nor does focus tracking work in normal photo, only in video and night mode
Tested everything (exept compression mode) and found no bug since now! Superzoom, Slowmo, Lens, Portrait, Night, choosing compression, Tracking Focus (even in Night Mode)...
Congratulations to @cstark27
This mod replaces stock cam...
Btw, i'm on stock unrooted und unmodded Pixel2 with pie.
Really found NO bug...
Pix: NightShot, HEVC, Tracking Focus, Lens
BIG THX to @cstark27

Seems whenever I take a picture and then go to review it it starts up for a sec and then goes to my Google picture library. But only if it's a picture I just took.
Finally got hevc working, only hte file sizes are the same as the avc/h264 videos for the same length, which is weird. Quality looks the same.
Either way, I found the images from P3 cam look slightly different than the stock P2 cam, much warmer and colour balance is definitely different.
Finally, for whatever reason, I find the P3 camera absolutely kills my battery. It could be the hevc encoding but I took v little video yesterday trying it out and went from 70 to 4% battery in just over an hr. Doing silimilar with the stock cam i usually get a good few hours. Odd.

A third party music player is useless if what is needed is a standalone equalizer app that can be used in combination with music streaming apps like Spotify.

There is a huge difference between the inbuilt and this one.
With the inbuilt I can only adjust the values if a headphone is paired. With this I can change the sound settings /values while listening music through the loudspeakers.

I don't know how you guys manage to use that dolby atmos apk, for me it keeps deactivating itself time and again no matter what when I want to use it for the built-in speakers. However that wavelet app that someone mentioned seems to work well in legacy mode.
