Here's an easy guide to setting up wifi calling...
1) Its not called wifi calling, its called VOIP, as in VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL.
2) It is independent of the actual network device, i.e., VOIP works over wifi, 3g, etc.
3) You simply install a program called "sipdroid" (sipdroid.org)
4) You enter the account settings for your SIP provider into sipdroid. There are TONS of sip providers. Use google to find a nice one that is available in your market and that provides the services you need.
And its done.
Now that's not hard, is it?

This application does this too. It connects to Skype as well as any SIP provider.
Tried it with Gizmo5 and it was choppy on wifi, but the app itself is really smooth. I hope they continue to improve it. Until then, SIPdroid is the shizzle.

There are a ton of threads on which APN settings work and which don't out there, and google has tons of old information as top results. Most of us on this forum regularly flash new roms and regularly lose data. I'm just making this post as a refresher, the following information has proven it's use for me time after time.

I did some quick searching and I did not find much on this specific topic.
I need to have a tablet, Windows or Android, that can make VOIP calls internally to our office.
Of course we can use Skype or one of the many other VOIP services. But we also want the application to look "professional" and "customized" to our office (Our logo, matching color scheme, ect.)
We do not have the resources to hire a developer to build an app for us.
I've seen some incredible themes made for android, IE Themer. And by my understanding it shouldn't be to far fetched of a thought that there is a barebones VOIP app capable of being themed.
