What is the difference between the H3G and O2 version in the UK?
I use G920FXXU1AOCV - nordic country, but I guess the UK firmware works just fine, right? So should I get H3G or O2?

H3G and O2 are the carriers, so it's the carrier bloat that comes with the rom essentially.

I am currently running the H3G rom as I'm in the UK and this is my actual carrier, you can remove/disable most of the bloat, but the boot screen is changed from showing Samsung to showing the Three logo. I don't know about the O2 rom. My actual phone is from Vodafone Germany and the Voda rom had a bit more bloat.

Well thanks. Just bricked my device tho. It failed and now it can't start. Trying recovery in a sec. Can it be because the firmware was not for my phone? Or the firmware number were, but the wrong country?

Not sure if i'm wrong here, but you sure you gave them, the right names? Cause my device is a nordic SM-G920F and is using the G920FXXU1AOCV firmware from standard.
But when I downloaded the UK version (which should work just fine) and flashed it using newest version of Odin, my device bricked and haven't found a firmware yet, so still not able to start my phone.

My device is a German SM-G920F and I flashed the H3G rom. Steps I performed:
1. Boot into stock recovery (power+home+up) and delete user data and cache to factory reset
2. Boot into download mode (power+home+down) and flash the 3GB or so .tar.md5 in AP with Odin 3.10.6
I had no issues.

Well I did the same thing, but just before finishing up, it says fail. Tried 4-5 different firmwares now. Any idea what to do? ? Can't start pr turn off my device right now. Just a blue screen saying that the update failed. I can put it into download mode tho.
I have no network bloat as I bought mine outright.

You can purchase a phone outright and it will still have bloat. Such as mine.

I know rooting is possible on 2BQK5, not to sure about 2BQL1.
So I had someone root my galaxy note 8 a while ago and now I would like to unroot it and if possible upgrade to android 8
