What is the difference between the H3G and O2 version in the UK?
I use G920FXXU1AOCV - nordic country, but I guess the UK firmware works just fine, right? So should I get H3G or O2?

H3G and O2 are the carriers, so it's the carrier bloat that comes with the rom essentially.

I am currently running the H3G rom as I'm in the UK and this is my actual carrier, you can remove/disable most of the bloat, but the boot screen is changed from showing Samsung to showing the Three logo. I don't know about the O2 rom. My actual phone is from Vodafone Germany and the Voda rom had a bit more bloat.

Well thanks. Just bricked my device tho. It failed and now it can't start. Trying recovery in a sec. Can it be because the firmware was not for my phone? Or the firmware number were, but the wrong country?
Could you add change list number?

Not sure if i'm wrong here, but you sure you gave them, the right names? Cause my device is a nordic SM-G920F and is using the G920FXXU1AOCV firmware from standard.
But when I downloaded the UK version (which should work just fine) and flashed it using newest version of Odin, my device bricked and haven't found a firmware yet, so still not able to start my phone.

My device is a German SM-G920F and I flashed the H3G rom. Steps I performed:
1. Boot into stock recovery (power+home+up) and delete user data and cache to factory reset
2. Boot into download mode (power+home+down) and flash the 3GB or so .tar.md5 in AP with Odin 3.10.6
I had no issues.

Well I did the same thing, but just before finishing up, it says fail. Tried 4-5 different firmwares now. Any idea what to do? ? Can't start pr turn off my device right now. Just a blue screen saying that the update failed. I can put it into download mode tho.
I have no network bloat as I bought mine outright.

You can purchase a phone outright and it will still have bloat. Such as mine.

They uploaded it last week and i successfully made the unroot. Very nice.

Important Note:
If you come from Kitkat 4.4.2 rom, it is highly recommend to make a Factory Reset:
After flashing the firmware, Go to Settings. Then, go to the General tab. Click on Backup and reset, then Factory data reset, then RESET DEVICE. Because all of the codes in Android has changed in lollipop, and factory reset, will make it work smoothly and wihout any problems.
BE CAREFUL, YOU WILL LOSE ALL DATA ON YOUR PHONE. BACK UP EVERYTHING FIRST.

if some one comes from leaked lollipop rom, this pit file is for him/her.
This file makes the system partition large enough to accept the rom.
if you come from official 4.4.2 kitkat rom, so you won't need this!

@eastonfr Yup will work with unbranded international dunno what will happen if i flashed a rom eg for vodafone so always choose the the one that does not have carrier. Also seeing UK firmware waiting also for BTU.

Hello, I have upgraded my ATT S8 to CRE2. Since then, my phone usually becomes overheat and fast battery drainage. Could it be a problem of this ROM version. Should I downgrade to older ROM? Please help,
Does anybody know if I can just flash the CSC from this firmware to my G950F International phone? I know you can't flash the full firmware as the G950F has the Exynos processor and the G950U is made for the Snapdragon. But is it safe to just flash the CSC file only as I want to fully use Samsung Pay? I'm using the Australia firmware for my G950F and I can't register some credit cards (ie: Discover) into the Samsung Pay app.
