Hello, since a couple of days I am getting an empty screen when I try to access the galaxy apps store from the Samsung Gear app. I tried clearing the data and the cache od the Gear app but it didn't worked.
The only way I managed to open the store was by removing the gear app and resetting the watch. But 1 day later I still get the same behavior.
Does anyone have any suggestion for this issue? Thanks.
The smartphone is a LG G6, stock Android 7.0

Has anyone been able to successful install new apps or update existing ones on the Samsung Gear store? I have a Oneplus One, and so far everything else has been fine. Surely there is a way to get it to work.....

I have only had my S2 for two days. On the first evening, I was able to install a couple apps from the store. But since last night and all day today, I am unable to install any apps. After about 30 seconds I get "No response. Timed out"
Anyone else having this issue?

I uninstalled all the Gear apps from my phone, reinstalled them, which prompted the phone to do a soft reset. After doing all that, I was able to install apps from the Gear store again. Not sure which part fixed things, but it's working now.
After 2 weeks of flawless operation i could no longer install apps from my Note 4 to my T-Mobile Gear S2 4g. Samsung tech unable to help me solve problem and had me send it in for repair - waiting for it's return

I also uninstalled and reinstalled all the Samsung apps (Gear, Gear plug in, Accessory manager) and it prompted a soft reset on the watch. It then accepted updates to apps as well as installing apps. Good to have the functionality for going forward, but for now the appstore for the Gear S2, especially if not using a Samsung phone sucks actually.
I was getting a message saying my gear wasn't connected to the phone, and it wouldn't install any apps.
Performing a soft reset did fix this, although I did not uninstall any apps from the phone.
I am now able to install apps again.

I had the time out problem and I just uninstalled/reinstalled the Gear Plugin which forced a reinstall of the Accessory service and light reset of the watch. That seemed to do the trick.

got my gear s3 frontier today.
installed the Samsung gear apps on my phone, huawei P9 and the phone connected to the watch.
configuration from the phone to the watch are working but i tried to download some apps to the watch and it looks like it's endlessly stuck on "installing" on the phone and nothing happens.
tried to installed mr. time maker and a watch face. both failed.
upgrading of current apps, also stuck.
what to do?
Factory reset the watch and try again?

I have a not 4 and I am having the same problem. I reset the watch and still no use. It seems to be an issue with Samsung that they don'the want to admit to.
Same issue with S7 Edge. Reset everything, but no change. No problems like this with iPhone and iWatch. This is the third issue I've had with the S3!!!
After months of successfully using the S3 with an LG, I wanted to try it with a Samsung phone. I was never able to get it working. I got a "service unavailable 1000" error and couldn't install apps. Factory resetting the watch and phone did not fix it. I ended up using a different Samsung phone, which installed without issue.
Download the apps from the watch it's work for me,I think there is some bug at samsung apps store.

When I click "view watch faces" or "view more apps" in the gear app
the Samsung Gear APP, after a quick "loading", displays white screen with error
"{"returnCode":"0","errorCode":"0003","errorMsg":" System Error!-[0003]"}"
for the rest, everything works.
I uninstalled the Gear app, the Gear S Plugins and Samsung Accessory Service. Rebooted the S3.
Reinstalled everything but the error remains.
For the rest, everything works just fine.
I can't find anything googling so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've no problems so far with my Gear S3 Frontier in combination with my Samsung Galaxy S7Edge...
To what phone are you connected? Probably not a Samsung product?
If not: Gear Apps Store is part of "Galaxy Apps": maybe Galaxy Apps must be installed too on your device? "Samsung Account"?

Fixed it by deleting all Samsung apps cache on the phone. This results in a soft reset on the watch. After re-pairing it works!
I'm having the exact same problem, only for me it doesn't go away after a reset. I've tried resetting all apps, even reinstalling them, resetting the S3, restarting my phone, but nothing seems to work. I can install apps from the watch itself just fine (just the 10 suggestions), but the Gear app just doesn't work.
I did all that after which it worked but I did do something else in between.
I downloaded the galaxy apps apk, from somewhere, ran it but it said no go, only run on Samsung phones.
Maybe that app flipped a bit somewhere, who knows!
I have a similar issue, get a pure white screen on the gear phone app. When I try and load the apps store. Fixed it by resetting watch deleting all the samsung apps, and then reinstalling and re setting everything up. It worked for about a day, and then failed in exactly the same way. I give up with this device, and I shall not be wasting another 30 mins doing the same long-winded process again. Samsung makes nice hardware, but as usual, the software is crud!
I note that Samsung changed the website end of the gear apps store the other day - looks like they fouled it up and have not bothered to fix it yet.
Mine has been working just fine after fixing it and I'm on the gear app store a lot at the moment fooling around with new stuff.
I do agree with you, Samsung is the worst sw developer. Take a look at my 3000 bucks smart tv, it's such a mess!
Mine 'fixed' its self this morning. The white screen is where the app loads content web browser style, they fouled something up server side is my guess. It still fails sometimes, and getting any app to actually install requires several attempts. Pish software.

I had this issue as well. Some apps or watchfaces would install but most wouldn't. I connected phone and watch to home WiFi and everything installed. I have Sprint LG v30+ paired with watch. Over the network, it's hit or miss but on WiFi all seems to work.

I am using an iphone, recently I bought a s2 classic gear from my friend. Currently I see the all notifications with the phone does not matter. However, when I visit Galaxy Apps, I find it very difficult to install applications or watch faces, which always stops at Installing....0% . I want to ask is there a way to fix this error or have many people encounter this situation when using on the ios operating system?
I wonder if samsung will still be developing ios apps because i see the Gear S app has no new updates.
I am using the Samsung Gear S2 Classic 3G SM-R735T.

I had this problem too. I turned off the watch and waited on my iPhone 7 Plus for the installations to fail, then turned off my phone and booted both back up. It eventually worked after doing that a few times. If that doesn't do anything, you can always try factory resetting the watch.

Thanks for your replying. Temporary, I don't want to factory resetting, because I have to download again watchfaces, download apps.. Currently, I download watchfaces via my gear s2 or install via GWD, I feel satisfied with this solution . Hope that Samsung will update for their app on App Store and upgrade gear os :laugh:
I have a new LG V30 phone so I had to reset my gear and reconnect it. After a successful pairing I restored my settings from a Samsung backup however my previous apps are missing. When i click on the Galaxy Apps icon within the Gear app on the phone there is only a blank window after a "loading" popup so I cannot download any apps for my Gear. I tried to force stop the Gear app and clear cache and data, reset my watch and start all over again but always the same, missing galaxy apps both on phone and watch . The watch says: "Can't load any apps, please try later"
