How can I install this if I have TWRP? Can I just flash the zip? Which one?

Yes just install.zip via twrp..just incremental

For some reason my device is not passing safety net .
Other than that it seems ok. Some updates in the camera app.

There is also some minor stuff
- now You can mute the phone / enable do not disturb mode from volume panel
- there is a white box "HDR" under HDR switch in MIUI camera app when HDR is anabled (also when auto-mode decides to enable it) (HDR still screw up the pics at least for me)
- when you take a screenshot, a miniature version will apear in top right corner and stay there bouncing for a few seconds. Then You click on it it's going to show You the whole pic. You will be also able to send, edit and delete it from that position

Try recovery rom with miui system updater. Worked for me.

I am currently on beta 8.5.10. What would be the safest way to update to 9.5.11 (preferably using TWRP, I don't mind wiping data)?

You have to download and flash "Universal Safetynet fix" - Google it.

You can all flash with stock Mi recovery without any problem, just use Xiaomi ADB and his sideload function!
It will go something like this:
XiaomiADB.exe sideload_miui miui_HMNote5HMNote5ProGlobal_V9.5.11.0.OEIMIFA_691301a005_8.1.zip

After dirty flashing this update, camera screen went blank. I flashed full rom. Was earlier on v9.5.6.0

First flash 9.5 rom via twrp then after boot flash 9.5.11 update. Also don't forget to flash lazyflasher if you don't want mi recovery replacing twrp.

Resolved after wiping davlic and cache in twrp

When I try to flash Incremental OTA with TWRP it says "failed".
When I try to install with OTA, (choose update package) it says "it's not allowed to upgrade to unofficial ROM package".
I am running 9.5.6.0 unlocked with TWRP and root.

You will need the stock recovery for the Ota to work.
I got that too. The update wasn't supposed to fix much. I remember for the Nexus One, developers used to repackage the updates as flashable zips, and I'm surprised that nobody did that.
Ok that makes sense, I have done some searching and can not find where to get the stock recovery, do you know a thread that has one posted? Thanks
What exactly does it fix ? Or where can i find a log or more info on it ??

The 2nd link is the stock recovery.
The OTA update will also fail to install if /system/build.prop has been modified. If so, just restore the original and try again.

Did you delete any of the system apps?
Some have reported they got the update after going back to stock recovery and performing a factory reset of the device.

Yes sir, tried that as well... now with the stock recovery is looks as though its going to install the update (when booting into recovery) but then a exclamation point appears with the device in the background. When i jump back to the option that are listed in the stock recovery it tells me that it was unable to mount the SD card and every option that i select just reboots the device.
I would just try to install a stock debloated ROM from the dev section, they'll be updated to the newest firmware anyway plus you'll get rid of all the boat.

and just another note to add as well, the Axiom Rom has the 1.84 RUU baked into the ROM already so it accomplished the mission of getting the phone updated. Thanks again gents.

[ROM] [4.2.1] Stock rooted - Deodexed/Zipaligned + More

EDIT: Sorry guys, i won't be updating this with the new versions of android as my n7 broke. Sorry!
Hello people,
I made a zip file you can use to install stock android 4.2.1 on your nexus 7 using CWM
All downloads: HERE (Thanks to goo.im)
How to install:
Wipe data (may not be needed if you upgrade from stock)
Format /system
Install Zip
Reboot
Those zips contain the /system directory from a fresh 4.2.1 installation and the boot.img from the 4.2 factory image.
I removed recovery-from-boot.p
The rooted zip also includes SuperSU.
I will not include busybox, because scrosler already made it. Scrosler's thread
If you prefer Superuser instead of SuperSU, you can just install the official zip which you can find here. It will override SuperSU.
Addons/Extras/I don't care what it is called (can be installed in any ROM):
All extras are now hosted HERE (Thanks to goo.im for awesome hosting)
Extras info:
install_AOSP_browser_4_2_1-grouper.zip: This installs the AOSP browser in any ROM
deodex_zipalign_4_2_1-grouper.zip: This deodexes/zipaligns your ROM
odex_unzipalign_4_2_1-grouper.zip: This odexes/unzipaligns your ROM
clicking thanks would be nice... if you want...
Thanks to all that did!

Seems fine to me. People just need to make sure to uncheck the "use accelerator" option and download it directly. It should be a .zip not an .exe. If you see that you've downloaded an .exe, you did it wrong.
On a side note... this download is wicked slow.

If you have installed TWRP or are on custom ROMs or have root and TWRP (whatever combo) there are two ways of flashing the latest build:
Method 1: Use the TWRP Flashable Builds created by @Jleeblanch . This will not remove your TWRP. Don't know about root yet.
Download and flash the OPJ28.111-22 TWRP flashable version in TWRP.
Method 2:
1. Flash stock N 7.0 via fastboot IF AND ONLY IF your bootloader version is BL1.06 or older. Don't try to downgrade. Else prefer Method 1.
2. Install the OTA file "Blur_Version.25.236.3.athene.retail.en.US.zip" via stock recovery/ADB Sideload or by placing it in your internal storage and granting Motorola Update Services Storage Permission and then Checking for Updates.
3. Install the file "OTA_Package_OPJ28.111-22-1.zip" by the same method as given in step 2.
For flashing updates using stock recovery:
Reboot to stock recovery. And choose update from SD Card. Choose the zip and install it.

Work perfect and smooth
What is the default launcher?
I never tweaked anything from my stock 7.0
Can I install it directly without factory restoring the data and apps?
The download is already copied to system and is just ready to install?
I have lyuus twrp already, so I need only the one from SourceForge?

nice nice... new useful features in the Moto app, now is there any dark mode and/or night display? and does the Moto display have the new look with the circle or just the old one?

[Recovery] TWRP with Dynamic Device Name for Redmi 6 Pro

Whats Special Over Official TWRP:
Fixed partition mounting issues
Fixed qseecomd
Patched proprietary blobs
Implemented Dynamic Device Name Feature
About Dynamic Device Name:
Redmi 6 Pro has two different codenames "sakura_india" for devices in Indian devices & "sakura" for all other. This makes things harder when you try to flash ROM that have "sakura_india" codename e.g: MIUI India, in such cases you have to edit the edify script (updater-script) or change the recovery. This TWRP build solves this problem by allowing the user to change device codename with one click. Note: The change will be persisted.

Hi, thanks for your work. I am using your twrp version. I am not able to decrypt data when booting on twrp. Same is true with official twrp version.
I am certainly missing something.. but don't know what. Any ideas?
Regards
