MotoG XT1032 device is locked (bootloader) for second time - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Good Night, a pleasure
I have a problem with my motoG 2013 XT1032 unisim, the bootloader was blocked and I followed the steps to request the unlock key, using the commands fastboot oem get_unlock_data and then I went to the page of motorola and I got my email the key to unlocking, I introduced it after this command
fastboot oem unlock ......... (in the points goes the key)
Everything worked perfect I installed a rom 4.4.2 and the cell started without problems, then I made the biggest mistake that I got an update via ota and I gave him from that moment the phone was completely brickeo and I could save was with the blankflash , but from there the phone is in fastboot and tried to install the same flash but everything says denied permissions, when I check the screen well, I get device is LOCKED Status Code: 0. I understand that the bootloader is blocked again but when I try to perform The same steps of deblocking bootloader with this line tells me the following:
D: \ MotoG \ ADB Tools> fastboot oem get_unlock_data
...
(bootloader) Could not get unlock data!
OKAY [0.006s]
finished Total time: 0.011s
Then I thought it was because I already had the password, I entered the password and it says the following:

[Q] Unable to unlock bootloader of Moto G

Hi guys,
I've some trouble to unlock my brand new Moto G's bootloader.
I've tried howto from wiki.cyanogenmod. org/w/Install_CM_for_falcon.
Step 6.
Code:
# fastboot oem get_unlock_data
...
(bootloader) Could not get unlock data!
OKAY [ 0.160s]
finished. total time: 0.160s
There is no sim card inserted.
I've never connected the phone to my Google account or a Motorla account.
Android 4.3
Baseband MSM 8626BP_1032.3051.51.02P
System 14.91.11.falcon_umts.Retail.en.DE
Build 14.10.oQ3.X-76-LGG-11
Any ideas?
Regards,
Timm
I've updated Android to 4.4.4
System version 210.12.40.falcom_umts.Retail.en.DE
Baseband MSM8626BP_1032.390.81.01P
Build KXB21.14-L1.40
Behavior of "fastboot oem get_unlock_data" didn't change.
cid is 0x0000 so unlocking should be possible.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Timm

I've had this problem too. In the latest update 4.4.4 there is a bug for unlocking bootloader but there is a fix for it. i did it and it worked. i found it in the motorola forums. click the link and afterwards on the page, search moto g 4.4.4 bootloader fix in the search bar, its a zip with instructions for you how to unlock, hope it helps
https://forums.motorola.com/hives/3ba9b2429c/summary
Thanks for your reply.
Did you really get this message?:
Code:
# fastboot oem get_unlock_data
...
(bootloader) Could not get unlock data!
OKAY [ 0.160s]
finished. total time: 0.160s
I found a zip archive which will unlock the phone when you get your unlock key.
My phone doesn't display the unlock request key. I only get "Could not get unlock data!".

I've had this same problem. My brother has a Moto G first gen that's softbricked, and since I've worked on androids before I thought I'd fix it. I could get it to boot into fastboot, so I'm trying to install TWRP and fix his phone (stock recovery won't work). But when I enter fastboot oem get_unlock_data I have the same result....

Update: turning off the phone and rebooting into fastboot fixed the problem for me. Sorry, that probably doesn't help you :/

[XT1039] CID 0xDEAD: CANNOT FLASH A BACKUP

First I apologize for my english. I bought this phone bricked (perhaps because of a fastboot erase all command) for a very little price... and I'm trying to repair it for personal use. A my friend has a XT1039 so I dumped all his partitions in .img files, to help me restore. The first problem I saw was that the CID was set to 0xDEAD (I think that that means that I can't flash the system sparechunks)... So I tried to restore it via fastboot flash cid cid.img but it returned a "Permission denied!" error. The device boots directly in the bootloader, printing "Device is LOCKED. Status Code: 0", but I know that the bootloader was unlocked by the first owner. I've flashed all the partitions of the motorola firmware (but none of the backup that I made whit the other phone) yet, whithout the system sparechunks that return me a "Invalid signature - preflash validation failed error". Another sorry for my poor english, I'm ready for questions, and I post the fastboot getvar all below.

I need to know if i could install nugget or not.

Android not working, Can't unlock bootloader, Can't Factory Reset. Need Help

I have a Motorola One Vision XT1970-1 working strangely.
First, It wont get into the system. After powering on it shows the ANDROID ONE logo, short shake and then shorter shake. It stays on that screen for as long as I let it, hours even.
Second, holding volume down and power to start the device brings me to fastboot mode. It says battery is OK and the phone bootloader is locked.
At fastboot mode I can get some info like fastboot getvar all (full text below) but if I try to unlock it with fastbook oem unlock ***CODE I GOT FROM MOTOROLA*** it tells me I need to
"Allow OEM Unlock" in Android Settings > Developer"
Click to collapse
but as I cannot go into the system I am stuck here.
I can see the current slot is "a" and if I try to change it with fastboot --set-active=b it tells me
"Command is not allowed".
Click to collapse
Third, if I go to recovery mode I see a message before I do anything, at the bottom, saying
"E:Failed to clear BCB message: failed to fsync /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/misc: I/O error".
Click to collapse
This message repeats if I try to "Wipe data/factory reset" or "Mount /system".
If I try to sideload I get, on the computer side, the message
"adb: failed to read command: Success"
Click to collapse
and on the mobile side:
(adbd status 1)
Installation aborted.
E:Failed to clear BCB message: failed to fsync /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/misc: I/O error
Click to collapse
Forth, I tryed to use a blank flash software but I could not make the mobile be recognized at the computer as a serial device. I shows up at Windows Device Manager as either a mobile phone or as a Linux storage device.
Any ideas to get it back working?

Failed to get unlock data

I want to put LOS on my new Motorola One 5G Ace (XT2113-2). I downloaded platform tools from here, enabled OEM unlock and USB debugging in settings, and restarted the phone with adb restart bootloader. While in fastboot, fastboot devices showed the device, but every time I tried fastboot oem get_unlock_data it would hang for a while, give up with the following error and reboot into fastboot again:
Code:
% ./fastboot oem get_unlock_data
FAILED (Status read failed (No such device))
fastboot: error: Command failed
I read somewhere that this needs to be done on Windows, so I booted up Windows and downloaded platform tools from here, downloaded the USB driver from here, installed that, rebooted everything and tried again. This time fastboot oem get_unlock_data gave up immediately with another error:
Code:
> fastboot oem get_unlock_data
(bootloader) Failed to get unlock data.
OKAY [ 0.012s]
Finished. Total time: 0.012s
I read somewhere else that I needed to put a SIM card in the device and wait a while. I also tried enabling data before rebooting into fastboot, as well as various USB cables and ports. On two different PCs.
Any ideas?
