Anti-rollback (qfuse) in 6.0?

Does anyone know if the qfuse is incremented for anti-rollback after updating to 6.0?
Probably at v3 now. I'd have to assume they did

you can roll back to 10o using LGUP to flash the TOT file so it appears it is still on 2

I am not sure, I was on the latest MM update from Verizon.
My phone got wet a few months back and my NFC has not been able to turn on since. Also, I was also having issues adding fingerprints though I could use fingerprints that were in there before. I thought maybe doing an ODIN flash may help atleast verify it isnt software related.

Trying smart switch as I hear it can load the stock firmware. The serial # (aka: IMEI #) I put in says the number is incorrect. Do I remove some of the first digits? It starts with 99000...

That's the exact same file as mine. There's nothing wrong with the one I uploaded. If you bootloop, it's unrelated. Try data wipe

Sigh. No, there's nothing wrong with the file.
You always bootloop when downgrading a major version. Have to factory reset in recovery and then you'll be fine.

OTA updates using non-US firmware

I'm running AMO (Spain) firmware and was wondering will I receive OTA updates when new security patches come out or will I have to manually update the phone? Thanks.

Yes, sammobile firmwares never wipe. (Unless you try to downgrade)
So as long as I keep the CSC is the same it shouldn't wipe?

Getting mine too
Hey guys, I have a question I hope someone can help me out with. I have the sm-g935v which I flashed to sm-g935u. I'm considering flashing it to sm-g935t since the unlocked firmware will be getting quarterly updates which is unfortunate, and I would like to use samsung cloud, FM radio, and now Nougat. Would I have to factory reset my phone back to the verizon firmware before flashing tmobile's, or can I just flash from my current unlocked firmware straight to tm? Prior to Nougats release, I had downloaded the latest tmobile firmware and tried to flash it with no success so not sure what I did wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
OTA
Won't taking the OTA update certain partitions we don't necessarily want to update? Like the BL, for example? Could this prevent rolling back to 6.0.1 if there are issues? Or does this not matter since we don't have an unlocked BL anyway? Thanksssss
Apparently I do not see that update on my phone as of now

The update is for T-Mobile users using the T firmware. You are on the US Unlocked firmware.
I got this also and updated this morning. Very smooth and loving it! Did OTA update and one thing i noticed after updating i wasn't able to clear my cache like before. When i power down, hold all 3 buttons (power, home and up key) get a screen more like a warning saying installing other firmware's or roms can damage my device. Not the exact wording but similar. Has anyone else tried doing that and got the same warning msg?

S7 G930F rolling back to original Nougat

Hello guys,
I have been following XDA for quite long time now and always could find answer for my question but this time I gave up..
I was so amazed by S7 performance that I never though I would need to go CF. 7h SOT on WiFi was common and 4,5h on 4G. But after Oreo came up it gotten worse and worse.
I really would like to roll back to Nougat offcial - so far I learned there is no way to achieve that easily but since I didnt find any straight answer I started to wonder if that is even possible?
At the moment Im on Oreo v.4 BL and custom Kernel which was supposed to help with battery drain on 4G...i mean it does a bit but this is still not what I am looking for.
Have anyone found a solution for draining?

Looks like flashing a custom 7.0 ROM is the best we can do for now
From what I understood, it's not possible to downgrade stock official nougat. Only custom ones using the oreo bootloader.
Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
So what is the closest to official 7.0 ?
I have tried Lineage 16 lately but didn't like it. Not to mention that drain was still there...

Reserection remix has a nougat rom. I found lineage 15.1 battery was great
So I guess I will try both of them asap. Thanks
Try, give feedback after. I don't believe it's gonna work.

I flashed this Nougat Devbase it is 100% like stock but after flashing my baseband was unknown, so after flashing rom i went to download mode and flashed CP file from my stock firmware in download mode and then my signal and everything working on my Bit 4 S7 on Nougat.

Come on now you know its not that simple, bootloader doesn't reside on same partitions you can wipe with rom installs.
If I knew it wasn't that simple I wouldn't have asked. I figured if ROM's can update bootloaders they could downgrade them too.

We cant downgrade the bootloader. I also want back Nougat! Its was very better in battery life
So I have checked both Lineage and RR but it was even worse.
Yesterday in the morning I installed the latest stock Oreo XEO G930FXXS4ESC1 and the latest TGP kernel - it seems promissing. Got 3h25min SOT using only mobile network.
My battery life is 81% so the result with TGP is the closest to what I was gettin on Nougat.
If that keeps up I will stay with it. But I think I will give a try with Superman Rom v2.90.
