I am using Micromax Canvas 2+ A110Q with a v2 stock ROM.
I rooted my phone and installed CWM v5.5.0.4 and I have SuperSU installed too.
I tried to install 2 custom ROMs and I ended up with a black screen both the times after locking the phone once.
The phone boots up normally as expected with the new ROM but screen goes black after locking it once.
The phone functions normally. For eg. Whenever someone calls, I randomly try to pick the phone(ofcourse with a black screen).
I can hear what the person is saying but the screen continues to remain blank.
Help me.
NOTE: I am a total newbie to the droid world. It took me 2 days to root my phone and install a custom ROM (LOL)
This is my first post on this forum.
I attached some result by Root Checker Pro. Might help.
Hello everyone!!
So here's the problem: My Nexus 5 screen becomes unresponsive to touch after a reboot. The only way to get it working again is to turn the screen off and back on using the power button. Then everything works fine again until the next reboot.
I bought it only 3 days ago and never had this issue until yesterday after I rooted it. I used fastboot / adb, no toolkits.
My Nexus 5 is on stock 4.4.4 ROM with root, CWM and locked bootloader.
If worst comes to worst, I'll flash stock ROM back on, but what do you guys suggest I try in the mean time??
TYIA.
Nobody had this problem before???

I think for something like this, your first course of action would be to flash the stock image.

Hey everyone, read this whole story of my note edge and then help me out with suggestions:
- 4 months ago i dropped it, it got a small straight line crack from left to right with no harm done with the touch, i used it everyday with no probs at all.
- Then 2 weeks ago, i flashed the XTREME MUSIC MOD BY ANDROIDEXPERT LIKE 2 TIMES, WHICH NEEDED A DALVIK WIPE, the apps optimization really took long which i think could be the reason for all this mess. I locked the screen, then i went on to unlock it, it never turned the screen on, it has since gone TOTAL BLACK OUT.
- Capacitive button lights and LED light is working, screen is also responding but i just can't see anything.
- i also did a soft reset ( That by removing battery and holding the power button for a minute or so), i turned the phone on but no luck.
====> HERE'S THE TWIST NOW, after 2 weeks of giving up, i tried again, i plugged the charger in and hurrey!, the screen turned on to show the charging animation, BUT, it went on to the boot screen when it shows samsung logo and AGAIN, it went total blackout.
what could be wrong?

Flash a stock rom. If youre on 5.0 find a 5.0 stock or if youre on 5.1 do a 5.1
If this does not solve your problem, i would suggest flashing stock rom with pit file (and selecting repartition option in odin)

Hey guys,
I have an issue with my Iron Pro, basically I turned off the phone one day, went to turn it back on and the UMI logo showed for 2 or so seconds and the device turned off again. I can access the bootloader but the same issue occurs when selecting recovery. I have tried reflashing the device several times with different roms (custom and stock) using SPFT with no success. However, after leaving the battery unplugged for a long period (3 or 4 days?) of time the device booted so I thought it was all fixed, went to restart and... guess what happened. I can't use fastboot to reflash because I don't have a custom recovery nor when I do flash one it still doesn't work. I believe it may be a hardware fault at this point. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Cheers
