Hi,
I've installed this ROM and everything seems to run smoothly unless the power on of the phone.
When I try to power on the phone from a "normal" shutdown It doesn't power on with the ON button.
I can only power it on removing the battery and then I can press the ON button and the phone powers on.
I can power on the phone if I press at the same time the ON and the Vol+ buttons too.
Surprisingly, that combination (ON + Vol+) powers on the phone instead of going to recovery.
Any suggestion?

Hello everyone and i'm happy to find this forum cause maybe you ll help me out.
Here is the problem the power button of the htc one mini doesn't work i tried to install the teaMseven_kernel_SENSE to alternate the power button unfortunetly the rom stuck on my boot logo. i heared that the phone can be plug in by my usb but i don't see the phone on my computer. Is there a way to reboot the device in the recovery i have a backup there. ? thank you
Hold vol down and power. Once it shuts off release power. Keep holding vol down and press power for 2 sec til boot loader pops up.

Ok the power button now works, i remove the sim card and push the power button several times and it works again :laugh:

-- Turn off the hone.
-- Press and hold both buttons volume down & power button at the same time.
-- press the power key.
-- Hold atleast 8-10 seconds and let go of power button and continue to press volume buttons.
-- A menu will apper with android logo, release the power buttons
-- press the home key.

Turn off your phone; if you can’t do it as usual, then press power button for about 15 seconds.
After shutting down your device, press volume down button and power button together and at the same time until the LG logo appears on the screen.
When the LG logo is displayed, let go of the power button, but keep pressing the volume down key.
Now press once more power button.
Once you do that, on your LG G Pro 2 the factory reset menu will be displayed.
Press power button in order to agree and wait while the hard reset is being completed.
Then, if you want you can enter recovery mode for clearing cache and for performing other operations.
Go back to Android OS by selecting „reboot system now”.

I've tried this myself too, but it booted the phone in Safe Mode and after that won't turn on.
The phone is on stock rom and is the D83810f 16 GB version. After I took out and reinserted the battery again, the phone started normaly.

actually, this worked for me...
Turn off the LG G PRO 2 (F350 / D837 / D838)
Make sure the battery LG G PRO 2 (F350 / D837 / D838) already full or more than 50%
Press together and hold the Power Button + Volume Down Button
If the Logo appear, then release all button, after that continue with press again Volume Up Button + Volume Down Button together then we are already at Recovery mode
Choose wipe data/factory reset using Volume Button, and press Power Button to Enter or OK
The LG G PRO 2 (F350 / D837 / D838) will continue master reset, wait for several minutes until the the phone start like new again.

BUT, instead of restarting, it takes me to philz touch recovery that I had installed after rooting. THen when I restart from there, it goes into the LG splansh screen and stays there forever. Can anyone help me with this?
Also, Philz touch recovey asks me to fix root before restarting. Is is necessary? I think selecting that option is causing the soft-brick.
Anybody have a clue?
You better keep a copy of workable ROM in your root directory, so that you can flash anytime to rescue your phone.

turn off phone...press power botton and vol up same time....when logo appear..release vol up but keep pressing power untill you see korean stuff or recovery appears...then press vol down..thats for lolipop or when you have custom recovery installed... Now if your on kitkat try this ...turn off phone...press power botton and vol down...when logo appear release power botton and keep pressing vol down and vol up same time untill recovery appears....hit tnx if it works

power OFF......PRESS TOGETHER POWER + VOL DOWN...logo appears LG...release BOTH...then press VOL UP + VOL DOWN...

Does anyone know the button combo in the stock recovery to get from the android on back to the menu?
Turn off the phone.
Push volume down and power button.
When logo apears release power button only and press it again. Than keep it pressed.
You should see the factory reset option.
If not - try again.

Thank you for the reply but I wasn't trying to factory reset. I wanted to get to the recovery menu. Usually when you get to the point where there's the green android guy on his back you can hold power down and tap volume up the menu will pop up. It's not working for this phone. Is it different on this phone because of the assistant button?
