[ABANDONED][ROM][8.1][UNOFFICIAL][microG] Resurrection Remix 6.2.1 - Xiaomi Redmi 3s ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other

Resurrection Remix 6.2.1
Features
Performace profiles
DT2W (enable in Kernel Adiutor)
Enforcing SELinux working and enabled by default
Permission-based signature spoofing support (needed by MicroG)
Bugs
Shutdown and restart not working properly - you need to hold power button for longer time to boot device and reboot to recovery from Magisk Manager or similar app may not work. Device however seems to boot correctly after it is "shutted down" for some time so it is probably not consuming battery all the time

Ok thank you.

ROM is quiet stable and awesome but has certain tiny bugs doesn't matter much and are as following:-
1. Whenever you search for something (I searched for power menu, then screenshot ,etc.)in settings and then click on it ,then lineage os settings crashed.
2. Screenshot editor option crashed .
3. Cannot change menu button action and it only shows recent under long press or single tap.
FEATURES REQUEST:-
1. As build is unofficial so there is no chance of ota update but can provide thread link at update position.
2. can change fonts in UI settings.
3. Auto USB mode chooser .
4. I don't know about RR sources that they have smart pixel's merge in there sources or not but if they are present then please add them in upcoming build (as they help in battery savings drastically)(SORRY IT IS AVAILABLE IN SETTINGS)
6. Android P animation as default animation.
5.maybe more
REVIEW:-
I think ROM is good for daily use with good BB and every functionality working . ROM also consist of good kernel tweaks and interesting features .
I personally tried so many times but now found the best ROM and decided not to shift on any other ROM until the development of this ROM goes on
THANKS DEV

Bugs
1. That's up to RR devs to fix, they surely have a lot of work with RR so this probably isn't their high priority
2. As said earlier, it was added recently and will be probably fixed by RR devs later
3. Will be fixed in upcoming build
Features
1. Well, to get this ROM you had to get to this thread anyway, and I am not sure if I would manage to add this option but I'll maybe try to add it in future
2. You can do that with Substratum I think
3. Available in Developer options -> Select USB configuration
6. Boot animation is iconic thing of every ROM, not gonna change that. You can change it manually by replacing /system/media/bootanimation.zip file or with Substratum
I would also like to say that I am not exactly developer, I can barely apply patches, make tiny changes and build ROM
Device tree/kernel/vendor stuff is done by someone else except for few changes

I wonder if you would be so kind as to add something to your 2nd post? A step-by-step procedure to activate ART. This would be a work in progress I suppose, as more info comes in. At the moment there is no central place, just widely spread out posts in numerous threads.

I can report newest build works flawless so far. ART is working, breaks Superuser though. Use SuperSU instead. Had the same with an early build of Slimkat on my Nexus7, no idea how they fixed this.
Awesome work TJKV!
/Edit: It won't boot anymore Don't know, what I did that caused this. I got everything ready, rebooted to backup and that's it.
/Edit2: again :-/ I flashed again, got ART ready, flashed gapps, SuperSU and restored /data from the backup I took. Booted up just fine, with all apps but greenify (that one was missing, no idea why). Installed greenify, didn't do anything else of note. Doesn't boot anymore.
/Edit3: after 3 times battery pulled the phone finally booted!
/Edit4: restoring a backup of CM now, maybe I give it another go tomorrow.

Blu stock Rom. It would be quite a big task to change it. It can't be replaced. It would have to be modified along with everything that depends on it.
I love this. Great work. I'm curious. Can you add the fingerprint button only method drax used for home back and multitasking? I got so used to it that it's tough going back.

Thanks! I don't know if I'll be doing that yet. I never used his Roms. Is there an option on the stock rom to use gestures on the fingureprint sensor?
Stock rom only allows you to use the fingerprint for home and back. But drax added in double press of home for multitasking allowing us to completely turn off softfeys for more screen space. Also he adjusted the dpi of the display for more to fit on the screen (another thing I love about his room and I miss right now )

It is an option that you can turn on by modifying the settings.apk, systemui.apk and, framework-res. I'll go back and see exactly which xmls to modify. Though I would start with bools.xml for best results. Just use apktool to decompile and recompile. Once recompiled open both apks using 7zip and drag and drop the meta folder from the original apk to the modified apk.
As for gestures I don't believe that was an option.
The set is as such:
-tap or swipe fingerprint to go back
- double click home for multitasking
-single click takes you home
New update released. Please see change log for details. Updated Screenshots.
You should be able to get away with dirty flashing this rom if you are using previous SRGX2 version.

LineageOS 15.1
About
LineageOS is a free and open-source operating system for smartphones and tablet computers, based on the Android mobile platform. It is the successor to the custom ROM CyanogenMod, from which it was forked in December 2016 when Cyanogen Inc. announced it was discontinuing development and shut down the infrastructure behind the project. Since Cyanogen Inc. retained the rights to the Cyanogen name, the project rebranded its fork as LineageOS.

Not all Oreo roms have the same problems. AOSiP has some navigational bugs (for me at least), older versions of Lineage don't have working bluetooth calling, and a lot of the newer Lineage builds have finicky GPS. But they're all different in some of the bugs they have. They do all have some similar bugs, such as camera, but that's LeEco's fault.

It uses almost exact copy of it, and I merged it into the device tree I use.
Pushed new build to OTA.
Changelog:
+ Applied substratum patches. Now you can set your own font using substratum and custom theme support is now better
+ Added color configurations to live display - thanks to @Rk585
+ FIxed blue blink after splash - thanks to @Rk585
Known issues:
- LiveDisplay is broken
- Color profiles are broken
- LineageOS style can break in some cases after update, switch it two times to fix that.
Have fun!

How stable is it, does obb apps work in A11 now?

is not so stable as 10 , but is enough.
You can't install obb apps from Play Store but you can use this workaround for run obb apps on Android 11 :
- Download OBB File from any website
- Reboot to TWRP -> Advanced -> File Manager
- copy obb folder of the app/game to android/obb
- Install the app/game from Play Store or APK.
Tested on Pixel Experience Plus A11 , i hope this can help you , Cheers !!
Hi!Where is the kernel source code? I want to borrow it,Thanks.
The main drop-down menu does not work in this rom. Sliding from the bottom retracts instead of smoothly sliding out. This rom is impossible to use.

Dear All,
Can I download version 3.2 from somewhere?
Unfortunately, in version 3.3 the microphone and speaker do not work during a phone call.
Same problem with several other ROMs (PixelExp., DotOS, Arrow).
Version 3.2 worked, although it sometimes rebooted.
With thanks,
Gabor
