LineageOS 15.1
About
LineageOS is a free and open-source operating system for smartphones and tablet computers, based on the Android mobile platform. It is the successor to the custom ROM CyanogenMod, from which it was forked in December 2016 when Cyanogen Inc. announced it was discontinuing development and shut down the infrastructure behind the project. Since Cyanogen Inc. retained the rights to the Cyanogen name, the project rebranded its fork as LineageOS.

FAQ
Q: Does VoLTE work?
A: I don't know - there is no VoLTE where I live, so I can't test.
Q: I want to talk about this ROM in some chat and discuss my issues with this ROM!
A: Telegram chat
Q: Can I use microG? Should I install nanomod?
A: MicroG patches are included! You don't need to use anything like NanoMod, etc. Just install microG apk!

Not all Oreo roms have the same problems. AOSiP has some navigational bugs (for me at least), older versions of Lineage don't have working bluetooth calling, and a lot of the newer Lineage builds have finicky GPS. But they're all different in some of the bugs they have. They do all have some similar bugs, such as camera, but that's LeEco's fault.

It uses almost exact copy of it, and I merged it into the device tree I use.

Pushed new build to OTA.
Changelog:
+ Applied substratum patches. Now you can set your own font using substratum and custom theme support is now better
+ Added color configurations to live display - thanks to @Rk585
+ FIxed blue blink after splash - thanks to @Rk585
Known issues:
- LiveDisplay is broken
- Color profiles are broken
- LineageOS style can break in some cases after update, switch it two times to fix that.
Have fun!

Yes, it booted.
Both the camera bug and torch bug improved a bit. In torch bug, I can already turned on the flash, but not in quick settings toggle. In the camera bug, taking photos already work but not in the google camera app.

Doesn't the stock gapps package replace the camera app with google camera and that isn't compatible and doesnt open. One question where is the beta version this is confusing with 3 threads.
Maybe change the title of this thread to something like. Earthys lineage and post patches, zips and fixes for everyone to help and integrate into all roms. But it would be better if you post it in the main dev thread.
Ps I would give @MiniBlu more credits he's been amazing and has been there since the beginning. He's the "main" guy. He hasn't just done a kernel patch. He's provided us with so much more

That's true, no real need for this new thread. Could have just posted a camera/torch patch zip. The rest is just another reposting of my work (it uses my kernel with my audio patch in it , my rotation and navbar patch) apart from slight camera/torch improvement there is nothing new here.

[KERNEL][Mido] FrancoKernel ⚡️- r21 - 27th Aug - custom roms, Pie and treble

Hi all.
Compatibility:
Builds starting with r1 are for Lineage OS 14.1 based roms.
Builds starting with r2 up to r6 are compatible with Android Oreo 8.1.0 roms.
Builds starting with r7 are only for Android 8.1.0 and 9.0.0 treble builds.
Download:
https://francokernel.app
Installation:
Flash the zip in your recovery
or
Auto-flash from Franco Kernel Updater app
Features:
1 - Legendary battery life
2 - Flash & forget
3 - Typical interfaces like display adjustments, sound control, vibration control, and all that boring stuff
4 - Bypasses the verified boot flag for Android Pay compatibility (root still breaks Android Pay but that's your own problem)
5 - Idle power consumption reduced to the absolute minimum (if you have wakelocks from 3rd party apps you're obviously on your own)
6 - Support for FKUpdater's Performance Profiles
7 - Magical support, I'm here every day, checking posts almost hourly, ready to help anytime (well, unless you fail to read the OP, which contains most info you need)
8 - Seemless integration with my app FKUpdater
9 - No useless placebo patches, or "magical" optimizations
10 - Probably more, check my github for all the details - the code speaks for itself

Evervolv is completely new for me although it seems its history is going back to even 2013..... I only see one build at androidfilehost at the moment and website also not very up to date either.
Therefore my question; what can we expect?
Do we get daily, weekly, monthly updates and what are the key benefits of Evervolv?
Nice to see that op3 is still not forgotten btw, still a beast :good:

You want screen shots, you can flash the ROM and take them. Its an aosp ROM (they all look the same).

Thanks for this excellent ROM, @elginsk8r!
Would you consider adding support for passing Safetynet out of the box (without stuff like Magisk) in the future? I believe it has something to do with the kernel reporting the bootloader as unlocked.

Could you please tell us if the rom passes safetynet out of the box? And also does it support encryption?

Introduction
Hello Friends!
I had troubles to find current builds for my devices so I decided to make regular builds for my devices. When my friends told me about similar problems, I extended the builds to include their devices as well. So these builds were and are mainly for my friends and me, but I finally decided to provide them also for public download.
My ROMs
My LuisROM an awesome combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your device. The LuisROM build server generates automaticly every 2nd days new builds directly from the sources.
Notice
Sometimes I get a lot of help or feature requests from users of my LuisROMs. My dog Luis and I try to fulfill most of the wishes, but that is not always possible. I do that as a little hobby and Luis does not always want to build ROMs . Please understand if I can not always answer directly.

There is no goodix in any rom with Android 10 on this phone, it is not compatible. Solution: buy an FPC sensor on aliexpress or others.

Same for me, quite a lot of battery drain. Phone is in deep sleep most of the time, though. Using Ethereal kernel did not help. "Original" crDroid (20200312) seems to be a bit better, but not much.
Dirty flashing Havoc and other AOSP-based ROMs for comparison did not work, SIM is not detected and I am too lazy to restore all settings, reconnect Bluetooth devices etc.

Try turning off location, its on by default. That helped with the draining for me. As for the other issues you’ve mentioned, none of them I’ve encountered so far. I believe the kernel used for this rom is great as I’ve been using all of his ROMs before and everything worked great for me. It’s understandable that the original crdroid itself is not yet 100% stable and still has a few bugs in it, lets just be patient and wait for future updates. All in all, his works will always be what I’d always use and look forward to.

Location is already off, so that is not the cause of the drain. The battery still lasts two days, but it used to last for four or five days.
But apart from that, great work and thank you very much for still building a ROM for this device. LuisROM has been my daily driver for over two years now, really outstanding!

Is there any fix for this? Do we need to clean flash the rom? Dont wanna lose my files
Is the ROM built by bots? A lot has been complaining about the not booting issue on latest updates for this week. Hope devs look into it. Very promising ROM otherwise.
