Hi my device is Bln-L22C675 indian version I have rebranded my device to EU version by flashing eu oeminfo now my device is Bln-L21C435. now I have used rollback package for eu version downgraded to mm then again using official update upgraded to nougat.
But this eu version not supporting volte. im not getting volte. so I decided to go back to indian version by flasing IN oeminfo but every time it saying flashing eu oem. I have downloaded every indian oeminfo files on xda but the result was it flashing eu oem instead of in oem. I have wiped 5 times all partitions using elite twrp formated data but still it flashing eu oem. I tried to flash in oeminfo on emui 4&5 no use. I tried to use hauwei tool to restore my in oeminfo but the tool is not working. I tried to manually copy the indian oem from root explorer I changed cust and oem with permissions still on Bln-L22.
Anyone can tell me a way that I have didn't tried to solve this problem.
Solved! after a long google search I found a tool SRKT tool which is for honor 7&8,p9 lite but there is no honor 6x model. so I chooses honor p9 lite and applied asia oem file after reboot and factory rest my device name changed to some onxy A180 a15generic device.
now I have tried another way. I have downloaded oem file l22c675b340 and custom bin from xda and kept them in restore oem and custombin. I have extracted oem file there. now connected the device attempted to restore and it was success. now my device showing l22 after reset. then flashed l22c675b340 firmware. now I got an update for volte for all networks. for reset I have used elite rom.

im using international rom, and flashing chinese rom...
so i think its possible for you too...
as long as you made your backup using twrp or cwm youll be fine....please made a backup first
method used
flash directly from local update
if fail, you must root your phone before you can flash
flash boot.img, recovery.img, system.img , cust.img using fastboot
you should be ok after flashing this
if bricked or cannot boot, reinstall your cwm or twrp, and install your backup
I have the same situation. I made some trials and here are the results;
I was on Chinese version B250. I udated manually to Chinese version B260 and this was successful.
I unlocked my bootloader successfully.
All trials to flash the International version B324 with Lollipop and (EMUI 3.1) have failed. I even tried with a relocked bootloader but still the same. No root or custom recovery; all stock.
Of note that I could successfully flash the International version B142 which is a Kitkat and (EMUI 3.0) but could never update to the succeeding update OTA although it is being downloaded successfully by the Huawei updater.
All flashing was through virusplus Multi-tool
These are my observations. If anyone has a better input regarding fully flashing a Chinese PE-TL10 with an International firmware with working OTA updates later on then please share it.
Thank you

OTA updates were never available, since I bought it.
I fear that C432 is not the original model, as C432 is for Europe and I bought it as an international model, from Ondamobile - HK.
Perhaps it was C636 or C185 and during one past upgrade C432 was installed...I am not sure.
The device is also rooted, and it is stable. Rebranding failled because bootloader is Unlocked. I think I am stuck permanently with this B581 rom

I sincerely believe my system is some hybrid of diferente roms...but aparently working well
[BOUNTY] to anyone that can workout and provide a guide to re brand AL00 to L29
I personally pledge £50
And whoever can also figure out a way to enable oem unlocking on the L29 should be in the bounty.
In the past there was a file you flashed in stock recovery that allowed you to downgrade your Android version. I wonder if you can get ahold a similar file for the 20X if you could rebrand with that. Here's how it may be able to get done. Merge the custs (the AL00 and L29) together into a twrp flashable zip and flash it in twrp. Then copy the full L29 rom zip on to your internal storage into a folder called dload. Then fastboot flash the boot, system, recovery etc from the L29 stock rom. Then shut down and hold in vol up + vol down and power to enter emergency recovery mode. Recovery will attempt to flash the full rom that is in the dload folder. If this update doesn't fail then you will be converted. I don't have an AL00 or else I would try this. It's the way we were able to rebrand some Huwei devices in the past.
The updater usually looks for the oeminfo (cust) for the Global version and if it is present along with the original (Chinese cust) the Global update would actually go through (or it would fail at 98 percent on the cust part but still boot) which we could then fix by flashing the L29 cust in fastboot or the merged cust in twrp.

L29 won't work as permission to enable option to unlock bootloader is not accessible .. problem is dat on L29 there is more security added +FRP lock .. AL00 has no FRP .. and no disabled allowance to unlock bootloader.. toggle option is not there so AL00 bootloader can be unlocked...
You can do tricks only with AL00 ..

In the past DCUnlocker could remove FRP and retrieve your bootloader code on most Huawei phones
The .172 update enables OEM unlock on the L29 device. Rebranding could he coming soon. :fingers-crossed:
Hi,
Can someone help me rebrand from BKL-L09 (C432) to BKL-L09 (C636)?
I have 2 Honor view 10 phones (originally BKL-AL20) that are rebranded by the shop were I bought them to BKL-L09. Unfortunetly they are stuck on an old version!
Current SW:
BKL-L09 8.0.0.110(C432)
But since they are not getting updates I was planning on flashing complete OTA update but I think rather flash C636. Or is some other region more recommended?
Can someone please provide me with steps and files to flash C363?
I also have a Mate 8 were I recently rebranded from C432 to DL00 and I only needed to flash the DL00 oeminfo and then went to erecovery and downloaded/installed latest firmware from there without any other steps. Would this work for the Honor view 10 if i get the C636 oeminfo for it?
Best Regards,
Leo
Yes the rebrand is same on view 10, flashing oeminfo file and flash regarding ROM.
But there's a major problem here: there is no more free way to unlock the bootloader.
Even if your device is unlocked, if you rebrand it, most prolly you will lost the unlock status and your unlock code wont work.
Means you need to pay third party unlock service (again).
I'm on right opposite from you, having C636 (im on EMUI9 with stock recovery so i cant provide you a oeminfo file), thinking of rebranding to C432.
Why would you like to move to C636 (Asia Other, means SEA and some)? C432 (Europe Unlock) is quite nice region I think?
Europe is the most huawei selling region except china mainland, receiving most updates as i know.
If you are living in asia you can try India region, which is also quite update-receiving region i think.

Well the reason I want to do anything at all is because the phones are not receiving any updates. Both phones are stuck at 8.0.0.110.
You might be right, my earlier experience was that Europe did not get that much love as China/Asia. But I maybe should try to get phones updated. Problem is I have tried and nothing works. I tried built in update, HiSuite, HiCare and dload method.
I really y don't know why it fails, probably something went wrong when the phones were rebranded by the shop.

Did you try the No-check recovery? Mine was fishy too (rebranded by the shop, no OTA came),
so i did clean 'ROM' flash with No-check recovery and clean 'ROM+all other things' flash with HiSuite.

Now I'm thinking of flashing stock recovery via fastboot (in case something is wrong with it) and then try flash stock rom rom via fastboot.
I found the following for recovery https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-view-10/how-to/stock-recovery-getting-to-stock-t3754797
The question is what need to be done to flash stock rom?
I guess downloading stock from FF, what files are need for fastboot flash this device?

download stock ROM from FF, extract SYSTEM.img, via fastboot: fastboot flash system SYSTEM.img.
straight and simple. in fact you can flash most of .img by this, kind of manual HiSuite.
you did dload method (using stock recovery to flash stock ROM) and failed,
which might means your IMEI is not matching with your region properly (the shop rebranded it wrong),
so i recommended No-check Recovery, which is Modded stock recovery that does not check IMEI while dload process.

Hi guys!
Mine is an original AL10 (bought from China). I want to rebrand it to L09/L19, I tried flashing FRD-L09C432B562 firmware but it doesn't work (I tried HuRUpdater, dload, Redlotus method), it's probably because I didn't flash the custom vendor img first. Previously I used Huawei Mutli-tool v7 (a year ago or so) to rebrand my phone but the latest v8 doesn't have an option for rebranding.
So, what should I do?

Hello!
If you have AL10, I advise you to rebrand it to L19.
Here is FRD-L19C432 "oeminfo" / "custom.bin" zip to flash via TWRP => https://mega.nz/#!XAET1YAD!JijwucQVNinMa-kBhUIEUUTFbRL-HcwqZsYxTntkMFM
Then use HuRUpdater method to flash latest Oreo firmware.
-OR-
You can also flash this FRD-L19C432B131 (Marshmallow) zip via TWRP, oeminfo and custom vendor img file are included => https://mega.nz/#!WF1FSbyJ!JiQ1oP8k8j3PMzVtvwEIb7gkRSigS8yzJ25Ud3b095g
Then use HuRUpdater method to flash latest Oreo firmware.
EDIT: If not working, you may need to flash B360 (Nougat): B131 (Marshmallow) -> B360 (Nougat) -> B5xx (Oreo)
Info: Rebranded Honor 8 Chinese model can't use B380+ Nougat firmwares. For Oreo firmwares, I don't know...

I successfully rebranded to L09C432B562, but I still can't get the Openkirin ROMs to work. If I flash the treble ROMs, my SIM slot 1 doesn't work.
