COMPATIBLE WITH

This version is based on the official EMUI modification made in the SIRIUZ rom combined with the work of Kangvip KangV & Team HRT for their best KangVIP framework, an Asian rom which was adapted for all European and Latin American versions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- EMUI 8.0.0
- Activate the OEM unlocking, which is in adjustment / developer options and leave it so forever to avoid conflict.
- unlock the bootloader.
- install the recovery that I will leave, automated from windows-linux
Guard the rom in an external memory.
Turn off the cell phone press the plus and power buttons until you have the TWRP window
Press WIPE
Press FORMAT DATA
Write the word "yes" without quotes and accept, just do the work
Press BACK to go back several times to the main window.
Press WIPE, then ADVANCE WIPE
Verify that the partition DATA this in the f2fs extension
Mark: Dalvik, cache, data, internal storage, system
IMPORTANT !: do not mark "micro sdcard".
Once you have marked, slide the "swipe to wipe" arrow to clear it.
Go back to the main sale, press INSTALL
Press SELECT STORAGE
Switch to Micro SDCard to find the rom.
Look for the MORFUZ rom and flash
At the end of the installation press "wipe davilk-cache", wait for it to finish.
Reboot system.
Congratulations now will start the rom MORFUZ
now compatible with magisk, if you want to have a magisk root, wait for the system to start normally, then download and flash the Kernel-Ramdisk.zip file by recovery twrp after starting, delete the supersu application.

It seems that Huawei modified the modem partition in the September-October patch and the MORFUZ kernel does not work incoming and outgoing calls.

Hi good day.
I have been following your work from another page, and now in XDA.
I had not read your message, and, I changed the recovery for the stock, and, I was an idiot to close the bootloader.
What happened? Brick simple on my cell phone, did not come out (because I fixed it) of the image of erecovery (EMUI) without tabs or options, a rather rare image.
How do I solve it:
1. I did not enter fastboot, I did not correctly enter the stock recovery (I had deleted the twrp), I had closed the bootloader (my stupidity)
2. Be patient and wait for the battery to run out (wait a day for it).
3. Open cmd and place the command to open the bootloader (fastboot oem unlock) and execute.
4. Put the device in fastboot mode when connecting to the laptop (I did not work several times, the fastboot came out with error FUNC No 10 and NO 2), after numerous attempts and not to let it charge the battery too much (because it was restarted and towards brick in the EMUI logo), correctly enter the fastboot and unlock, when you enter step 3 automatically, it will be executed. I had an advance in removing the cell phone from the brick.
5. It reboots and wonderfully happened to the Rom (that had previously installed), that is to say, the erase was not executed when the bootloader had previously closed.
6. As I had little energy, it was turned off, but I connected it and entered charging mode without restarting (before I did it).
7. Wait for a load of at least 5%, and install the Catuva21 TWRP from the tutorial.
8. I put it by command to restart in fastboot, but I generate error (Error Func No 10 and No 2).
9. I turn off the cell phone and with volume up and power key
10. Enter the TWRP correctly, verify that it is installed.
11. Restart system and log in to the system. I had not deleted anything, but to avoid problems, I hope to load 55% and execute the steps to install the rom.
12. Enjoy and dry spilled tears.

* 60FPS is available for W8 4GB/8GB models only.
* W8 16GB runs at max of 49FPS since it's using official THL kernel
* W8+ and Beyond use kernel from Beyond running at 58 FPS
IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT COMPATIBILITY
Although this ROM seems to be working fine on majority of W8 models, there's still a chance you might come accross some issues caused by incompatibility.
Except for memory size, newer batches of W8 seem to have some other hardware differences (e.g. camera sensor) making them incompatible with this ROM.
Since I own W8 8GB version that came out in the very first batch, it is impossible for me to reproduce, debug and fix bugs that may appear on different or newer W8 models. I won't be providing any support nor bug fixes for these models!!! It is simply unmanageable for me! Thanks for understanding.
Therefore, you should rather consider sticking with the stock ROM and installing standalone GravityBox app which will basically introduce all the mods without actually having to flash any custom ROM. This approach avoids all the potential incompatibility issues you may have with non-official ROMs.
And remember, it's always YOUR decision when it comes to flashing ROMs or installing apps.
You should ALWAYS make a backup of stock rom before flashing anything on your device!!! I am getting too many personal message from people that didn't make a backup of stock ROM before flashing GM2 asking for help, which wastes a lot of my free time that could be used more efficiently (e.g. to work on GravityBox app)
Read carefully before you proceed
- full wipe is needed to upgrade from Android 4.1.2 or any other ROM that's not based on this one.
- returning to previous ROM that was backed up using custom recovery is possible only in case you used my ClockworkMod to backup your previous ROM.
All other custom recoveries will simply not work fully because they are not "MTK6589 friendly".
So I strongly recommend to flash my ClockworkMod and perform backup using this recovery before proceeding any further.

Installation instructions

4) Choose "install zip from sd card", browse for incremental update ZIP and confirm flash

Repartitioning instructions - to get more space for apps (2GB instead of 1GB)
APPLICABLE TO W8 4GB/8GB VERSIONS!!!
1) Backup contents of Phone storage (internal SD) somewhere to your PC.
2) Download repartitioning package and put it on external SD
3) Reboot to recovery
4) Backup your rom - IMPORTANT!!! CHOOSE TO BACKUP TO EXTERNAL SD!!! IF YOU BACKUP TO INTERNAL SD YOUR BACKUP WILLL BE WIPED DURING REPARTITIONING PROCESS!!!

12) Copy contents of backed up Phone storage (internal SD) from PC back to Phone storage (make sure they fit new size)

- Flash the rom
- Boot the OS WITHOUT ANY SIM INSERTED
- Enter Date & Time Settings
- Automatic Date & Time - OFF
- Automatic Timezone - OFF (Uncheck)
- Reboot the phone and insert SIMs

You can just unzip the file and copy xml file into /system/etc/permissions
Set its permissions to 644 (rw r r)
It seems that not all widgets are displayed in the menu... Cannot even find'em. There's no possibility to put them on the desktop... But maybe that's because I restored them using TitaniumBackup (backups made on 4.1.2). It shouldn't be... Any Ideas?
Added: I tryied to romove an app and afterwards installed it again - no effect.
That's the withdraw of the stock launcher. Install e.g. Nova Launcher from playstore. It will allow you to install any widget when you long-touch the screen.

Works fine here. Maybe it doesn't like your SD card... Or... Aliens
ROM installed, first positive impressions :
- very smooth UI,
- 4.2 Android is very nice
- no problem installing hot fix nor installing the ROM itself
- date & time settings bug corrected thanks to Sparcot tip
- I've installed the apk I use every day, no problem.
- Baseband seems to be improved, seems to work better that previous one, am I wrong ?
the "bugs" :
- we can see Eastcom logo at boot between ThL image and ThL animation
- there is no more music on ThL animation at boot
- proximity sensor : while taping phone number with digital pad (for instance a long tap on 1 for reaching my answering machine), then I wait for earing the voice of my answering machine and then I put the phone on my ear : the proximity sensor does not hide the screen fastly enough, and the contact between the ear and the screen taps on a number (3 for instance). this was not happening with ThL W8 original ROM. I've tried to see in engineer mode to catch a settings but can't find anything about that.

- eastcom logo is somewhere burried in new UBOOT image - nothing we can do about. We need this image to be able to have display working.
- original Eastcom rom doesn't have bootsound. But if you want one you can simply take it from original rom. It is in /system/media
I personally find the boot sound annoying so I am glad it's gone
- not sure about proximity. Seems to be working fine here

I apologize that the previous rom did not respond, now observe and there was the added codes, use this file and paste in:
version/special cust/ RNE-L21/hw/meafnaf/prop/local.prop
use solid explorer and replace local.pro and restart the cell phone

Can't open system from solid explorer, and in twrp/file manager can't see version folder ! maybe something wrong with my installation. I do everything, one by one, like you say. but the rom is working.

I think that the local.prop solved my problem of sound, now it's good.
For the rom, some bugs : Emui Music is only in espagnol and chiness (I think), Mipop crash when longpress back key to kill app, and in motion control/pick up/wake up device can't be activated, doubletap2wake freeze the screen, you have to reboot

INSTALLATION MODE:
if it is the first time you install the recovery twrp follow these steps:
-guard the rom in an external memory.
- turn off the cell phone press the plus and power buttons until you have the TWRP window
- Press WIPE
- Press FORMAT DATA
- Write the word "yes" without quotes and accept, just do the work
- Press BACK to go back several times to the main window.
- Press reboot
- Press recovery
- Press Not Install or slide
- Automatically restart in recovery stock
- again see Pulsar WIPE
- Press ADVANCE WIPE
- Mark only DATA
- Press REPAIR OR CHANGE FILE SYSTEM
- As you will see in the upper part, this is in EXT4 or MNC format, which is not adequate and we must change.
- press CHAGE FILE SYSTEM
- Press F2FS and slide, then back to the window of the wipes.
- Now we will perform a system cleaning.
- mark: Dalvik, Cache, data, internal storage (optional), system, vendor, and product
- IMPORTANT !: do not mark "micro sdcard".
- once you have marked, slide the "swipe to wipe" arrow to clear it.
- go back to the main sale, press INSTALL
- press SELECT STORAGE
- Switch to Micro SDCard to find the rom.
- Search the rom select your taste in aroma installer.
- At the end of the installation press "wipe davilk-cache", wait for it to finish.
- then reboot system, it expects to take approximately 10min.
if you already installed a rom be stock or custom rom follow these steps:
- turn off the cell phone press the plus and power buttons until you have the TWRP window
- Press WIPE
- mark: Dalvik, Cache, data, internal storage (optional), system, vendor, and product
- IMPORTANT !: do not mark "micro sdcard".
- once you have marked, slide the "swipe to wipe" arrow to clear it.
- go back to the main sale, press INSTALL
- press SELECT STORAGE
- Switch to Micro SDCard to find the rom.
- Search the rom select your taste in aroma installer.
- At the end of the installation press "wipe davilk-cache", wait for it to finish.
- then reboot system, it expects to take approximately 10min.

How did u manage to find facial unlock? I'm also on c185 and it seems like there's no such option

After adding 'ro.config.face_recognition=true' to local.prop File in /system/emui/base/prop the option showed up in settings but i am unable to register my face, any idea?

In the settings app, under mobile data there's that "More" button. In the menu that opens when you click that, open mobile network and then turn off "Mobile Data Always On" option. Do the same to the one in the developer options if that's also turned on. No need to turn off the second one if you didn't unlock developer options though.

It seems that Huawei modified the modem partition in the September-October patch and the MORFUZ kernel does not work incoming and outgoing calls.

Thank you for the good job you did. the system (kangvip) has given me problems, try other versions and it is only the only version I found, also so you can start normal without flashing recovery stock you must make a change in vendor.img

Is a restart of the phone required to apply the changes to CPU/GPU?
Took me a few tried to get it working, but definitely worth it. It's a really good ROM, that I'll be using as my primary now.

Verify that the partition DATA this in the f2fs extension
Mark: Dalvik, cache, data, internal storage, system
IMPORTANT !: do not mark "micro sdcard".
Once you have marked, slide the "swipe to wipe" arrow to clear it.
Go back to the main sale, press INSTALL
Press SELECT STORAGE
Switch to Micro SDCard to find the rom.
Look for the MORFUZ rom and flash
At the end of the installation press "wipe davilk-cache", wait for it to finish.
Reboot system.
Congratulations now will start the rom MORFUZ
It seems that Huawei modified the modem partition in the September-October patch and the MORFUZ kernel does not work incoming and outgoing calls.

I have not tested exposed, but some if they could install, but not flasheable, just install the xposed application and through the application it downloads and flashes automatically, but not if it works correctly

Edit: The rom appears to be running very slow on my device. after rebooting its better
i cant do the 3 rd step which is flash kernel and ramdisk.. when im pres enter, but the system command prompt reply the system cannot find the path specified.. please help me.. im installed it into my nova 2i rne-l22...

when i go to security options settings app crashes
cant setup fingerprint id
oh now it works after playing with the instalation settings
I got an error during installation and start bootlooping, latter with more time I'll try again.

The rom is working or not?
thanks for the rom!
followed the install instructions except i didn't install the TWRP321_OREO_P20LITE.rar because i previously installed it following these instructions.
chose to install the custom kernel and SuperSU. not sure right now what else. i will write it down when i try the next build.
i encountered the following issues:
-error finishing the installation: set_perm: some changes failed during flashing (could this be because i didn't install your modded TWRP?)
-unable to set the lockscreen options
-unable to set up fingerprintid
-settings crashes when attempting to enable dev options
-sd card isn't detected within the fw
once i saw the sdcard isn't detected, i tried to recover from my latest backup but TWRP wasn't able because /system was only mounted as read-only (could this be as well because i didn't install your modded TWRP?).
ended up having to reflash stock from erecovery, rerooting and reinstalling TWRP in order to restore from my last backup (maybe i did something wrong?).
after reading the features list, i personally would use it as my main rom. i'd love to see it with viper4android included and with an all dark theme though but that's just me.

Well, if you eliminate the fact that the fingerprint reader or any other screen lock method does not work, you can not use the micro sd and the developer options are not available. So yes, the rom works.
You can try to urge it, maybe you're lucky and do not have mistakes.

Nope, so far I haven't seen anyone reporting positively. No fingerprintid and no security features makes the rom pretty much unusable as far as I've tested and seen on the thread. I'm awaiting to see how this develops..

This rom is working prefectly.. i have keep on trying to re install the rom.I always follow the exact instruction, and i have found out. You will have a set_perm: some changes failed. IF you mark check the navbar, and status bar while in aroma installer.. I have able to use everything. Ill try to make a screenshot of it.

YES. I HAVE FLASH THE RECOVERY. AND WHEN YOU FIRST DO THAT... AND YOU SHOULD PUT THE ROM INTO YOUR SD CARD..
YES, IF YOU MARK CHECK THE NAVBAR ANF STATSBAR. WHILE CHOOSING YOUR DESIRED APPS. YOU WILL SEE THAT IN THE VERY LAST PAGE OF THE AROMA INSTALLER. WHERE YOU HAVE THE OPTIONS. NAVBAR STATSBAR, SOLID EXPLORER, KERNEL AUDIATOR, AND the QUICK REBOOT. SO JUST MARK CHECK THE SOLID EXPLORER,KERNELAUDITOR,AND QUICK REBOOT..

ok so i flashed the provided recovery and the rom following the instructions with the following options in aroma installer:
Kernel: Morfu2kernel
Root: SuperSU
Camera: P20 Pro
Music: Stock
Kernel Auditor
Quick Reboot
the installation went through except bootimage patcher failed at decompressing ramdisk (failure, aborting).
edit1: after a cache wipe, i rebooted the phone. the phone boots but no root.
tried to flash SuperSU through TWRP but failed.
wiped data/cache/dalvik/system & reflashed rom with Stock kernel & Magisk no bootimage patcher errors. after a cache wipe, rebooted & phone has root :victory:

so far i'm still getting all my apps installed. i'll letcha know how i get on with it.
edit2: as i am stubborn, i reflashed the rom with the custom kernel and Magisk. root is on and the phone seems to run smoothly.

I worked perfectly, the only problem is that mobile became very slow.

i had that plus overheating but after what i did in edit2 it was gone and the phone runs smoothly.
on another note: is it possible to make this rom have init.d support somehow? it'd be cool for stuff like Liveboot..
