Best Working Camera Mods and Ports - Collection

Hello,
i know that there are many Camera Ports and Mods out there and i wondered if we could put all in one Collection?
Which do you know?
-Google Camera Pixel 2 HDR+ Port
-Oneplus 5 Port
-Moto Port
I do not know much. Can you help me? Maybe with links?

i tested the oneplus camera(both the v8 and 2.0.0 version) from the link you gave and compared it with the oneplus camera from this link https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...s-5-camera-port-redmi-note-4-7-0-t3656125.The best of these 3 is the oneplus5 2.0.0 version but iso on the pro mode does not work.If you have to choose between the oneplus5, the moto g5 camera and the google camera,google camera is the best in my opinion.Also,i have a sony sensor

It depends on your camera sensor... Photo or video, And how you take photos, manual or point n shot.
Mine is omnivision, I just care about still photoshot, I never record video. Then I don't want to mess with manual mode. So, the best mod is google camera hdr+ and snap camera with LLM mode.

Hello there , your link directed me to the thread created by arnova8g2. I can assure you you can use the camera mods mentioned there . I am using gcam builds and miui cam ports from that thread . So far no major issues for me

Great. Thank you.
I installed google camera and it worked. Not perfect (Front cam and few functions do not work) but it works.
But i did not install camera2api. But i am in resurrection remix. Maybe i do not have to install it?

No need to enable camera2api or.make changes in build prop . That is required only if you using official miui . Custom roms comes by default with camera2api .
Few things don't work ?
Well.except slow motion and some artistic pictures with front cam ? all is fine ...
I am currently on v11 -N build ..didn't tried the beta builds ...

Google Camera 5.x - Portrait mode and HDR+ fully working [UPDATED 2017-01-17]

First I have to say that this is not my job, I just want to keep a post updated with the latest functional version for our devices, as the other threads are not.
This app works at least on s6, s7, s8 and Note5. (Exynos an Snapdragon)

The recommended configuration for this version:
(Leave everything by default, minus the following)
B-S-G MOD settings:
Model: Pixel XL Marlin+Taimen
Config camera HDR+: Nexus 6 hdr+ Auto
Manual fixed black level offset:
Fix black level front camera: 0.00 (Exynos S7)
Portrait Mode on all models: enabled
Developer Settings:
Camera. faceboxes: enabled
Camera. af. debug. show: disabled
Once this setting is applied, Force Close and reopen.
Possible problems:
Memory Leak: You must restart the device

Front facing portrait mode has wierd pink color. Any idea how to fix it

Portrait working well but note 5 max support just 8.0mp so it too noise, sosad. Hoping to fix it

Have given the app permission... Go-to apps and give the permission for the gcam and restart.... It's should work.

Yeah I tried that, didn't work. I finally got it sort of working though by downloading a different version someone posted in the comments here, but while the normal camera functions worked, portrait mode still didn't, it would just crash the app when selecting portrait mode. The version from the link in the original post wouldn't work at all though.

Whenever I open slow mo mode... The app closes down!

Hi, here is a mod to get a working Gcam on whyred devices running custom AOSP android 9
- Gcam v5.1.08 from pixel2 moded
- Tested on Arrow android 9 rom (2018_10_07), may work on another roms ..
it's Aroma , so you can choice between:
- Install in system
- install as Magisk module
- Uninstall (for the system version)
the app itself is not modded by me ..
i don't remember where it come from ( i unpack many roms for tests)
if you reconize yourself , just tell me for proper crédits.
In Arrow or another rom just enable Camera2 API
in Arrow v2018_10_07 , the miui Camera still works

The camera works, but so many functions are disabled, panoramic mode is disabled in all modes...
But the normal camera and normal video works, slow motions works too.

Front camera doesn't work. Still we are not getting a stable port for our device

None of these ports are working (tested on newest arrowOS and Havoc OS). HDR processing stops halfway or in 3/4 of process and the picture doesn't get saved making the app generally useless...

@Mr147, I just tried today and the app installed just fine but it force closes all the time. I'm on AEX ROM by the way, which ROM did you use this on?

Works flawless on DotOS, probably others too.
You can try wiping dalvik/cache and making sure you flashed enablehal3.zip

Camera to API not enabled even after pie update
I tried to enable it as mentioned in YouTube but it doesn't work please help

Is there a way we can take panorama photos upwards? When i rotate the phone the panorama shot also rotates in such a way i can only take pictures of panorama sideways.
It will be helpful if we could find a way to that

Go to camera settings > advanced > base settings > front camera > select nexus 6p

Is slow motion working??

You need to enable camera2api for it to work.
