Long story short I had my nephew playing with my gear s3 while sitting in my lap. He pressed few things rotated the bezel and since then I have this overlay of steps count. This appears on watch face and all menus. How do I disable it? Can't seem to find anything in settings. Suggestions?
Turn off and on again

Hey guys,
My wife has an att gear s2 sport. Her screen is unresponsive to touch. Everything else works, the bezel turns and the screens and scrolls though apps, the side buttons works. But can't seem to get the screen to work. There are times where it works and then it stops working again. I already tried to factory reset the s2 but it didn't solve it.
She mentioned that this started occurring after an update. Not sure what fw it currently is on. Anyone have a solution for this?
I have the same problem. Can anyone help?
same issue
I have the same issue not sure if I had an update recently, but my screen is unresponsive and sometimes it will just start clicking things on its own.
Restart, and if that doesn't work, Factory Reset the watch.
I don't have the "how to" in front of me, but a quick Google search should find it easily.
So I just got my S3 Gear watch yesterday from at&t playing around with it last night it got stuck on accessibility mode where it's highlights in orange and no it talks to me annoying. I can't do nothing else to it now it's black screen and still talks when pressing home button . Help :crying:
Been there, done that... You can fix it by doing a factory reset using the hardware keys. Here's how:

Hi, my problem is difficult to be described so i posted a video (link below). Look like touch screen is not working but as you can see, when i push 'ok google' button I can interact. So it's probably a software problem, like UI doesn't work properly. I've never seen something like that. Do you know how can I solve it? I tried disconnecting from phone and doing a reset.

I have the same problem too on my Huawei SmartWatch 2 (not 4G) This problem begin a couple of days ago.
The clock work flawlessly, the top button work if I do a long press (Google Assistant appear) and the Watch react when I press the GA parameters on the screen.
My Watch continue to display and count my footsteps from Google Fit.
The Watch vibrate everytime I receive a notification, but the notification flash less than an half second and impossible to reach it to display.
From my phone, I can change the Watchface, I can change setting of the watchface.
IT IS NOW IMPOSSIBLE TO:
- Press the face of the watch, or slide the face of the Watch......no reaction.
- The Watch react when I touch the screen to turn it on, but that's it, no more action possible.
It is impossible to just restart the watch, because I can't reach any menu on the watch.
same here
Same issue here for a while now... as far as I remember occured since latest Wear OS app (2.16) update. Constant hiccups/lag after screen activation. We seem to be paying too much money for such "premium" consumer tech devices, which rather taste like beta software / testing hardware messing around with buggy software upgrades that keep on sneaking in regularly. This is ridiculous!
same thing happen to me as well between here and there. This is due to the watch faces.
All i do was restart the watch by keep pressing the top button (Google assistant button) for about 10 seconds.
The watch will reboot automatically.
Once its reboot I switch the watch face.
So have this turned on and at times I have to shake my hand like a polaroid picture in order for it to wake and even then it does not wake
Just using one of the standard watch faces and it only wakes up sporadically or when I touch screen to wake (this button turned on also and also Turn bezel to wake)
Always on Display is turned off
Anyone have same issue and any settings that they used so it wakes up?
Yea I also noticed this behavior and dont like it....
On most watches you just need to rotate your wrist to wake them up but for the GW4 you need to literally raise your arm. This is ok when you are standing or walking but while sitting in a car or at a desk it really is annoying ...
I have not had this behavior on my GW4. The only time I have issues with face turning on is when I'm lying in bed. That is normal. The face should not turn on when watch is vertical and wrist is turned. When I turn wrist at desk or in car the face turns on. Is your wrist horizontal when the face does not come on?
I get the hiccup too, and can be very annoying
I have no problem with tuning mine on with a mild wrist snap as if a fly landed on my hand. It does require that the arm be relatively horizontal. I wonder if the problems described depend on the chosen screen?
The tighter my watch straps, then the better the wake response!

I honestly think that could be the problem for me
I had the opposite problem (too sensitive) before turning lift to wake off. I suspect it is a gyroscope calibration issue. Unfortunately, I am unaware of any method for calibration at this time.
Okay, I found the calibration screen. On your watch, go to the phone app and dial *#0*#, then scroll to "Sensors" and preform a "Selftest" on the Gyro while it is sitting perfectly still. You can also calibrate the other sensors from this menu. If the watch won't let you go back, you may have to reboot by holding the two buttons down. Let us know if that helps.
Edit: To exit the menu, swipe right.
This is happening again not waking on lift to wake
Did selftest and same issue
Any suggestions
Wish I could help you. Mine works just fine. You may have a sensor that just isn't quite right.
