Why are there so many system updates?? - Huawei Watch 2

So I got my HW2 yesterday. Since then, the watch has been updated as much as 5 times (!). The last of them just now.
Does it happen to everyone?
Does anyone knows where can I see that "what's new" of every update?
My current wear os version is 2.11.0.193584459

I had same experience two weeks ago. It seems you have latest OS version now.
Also keep in mind that APPs updates may still occur.

OTA updates?

I've had my US WiFi Xoom for about a week now and I still haven't received the 3.1 update let alone the 3.2. Is there a reason its taking so long?

I take it you are completely stock, because if you weren't you would already be on 3.2 with Team Tiamat most likely. How often do you check for updates? You really should just keep trying, or root and flash the update manually. I thought the 3.2 Wifi updates were done rolling out. You really should have gotten it by now...
mate i heard of trying to change your date and time to like a week later than now (obviously turn off network time, etc) and reboot... try it a couple of times... as i had that problem and it worked and im halfway around the world from where the tablet from =]

I thought about saying that, but I figured the update should be widely available by now since they have had plenty of time to roll it out, but that's worth a shot regardless.
US wifi here, I just got my 3.2 update a few days ago, almost a month after it was released I believe. I'm not gonna installi it because i'm rooted but it sure is tempting to try

Random reboots

Hi guys, I got my G920i from an ebay seller that everyone here has been talking about. The phone was in great condition and everything was fine with the phone for the first 24 hours. Ever since then , my phone has been constantly rebooting after a few hours on it's own. I have not installed any apps that I normally don't have on my other android device , the oneplus one. The G920I is not rooted or anything. The only app I can think of , that is different this time from the OPO , is the samsung push service update. I checked around and could not see anyone else who had recvd the Push service update and was facing the same issue.
Please help!
same
I have the same issue. I also bought the international version off of eBay. I didn't notice anything for about two days, but have now had the phone restart on me three times. All three times I was not actively using the phone and the screen was off.
One thing that I tried was to reinstall the Samsung push service update. That worked for 3 days as I didn't see any more reboots. And just 15 mins ago it happened again while the phone was in my pocket. Hope this gets fixed soon.
It has happened to me twice. I just disabled the auto update feature for my apps to see if that actually works. Will let you know if it worked after a couple of days.
I've had the phone since last tuesday and didnt notice any random reboots until this app updated and now i have 3-5 a day

the samsung push service or whatever it was called that was supposed to fix the battery everyone claimed
Can you check this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/help/nearby-wifi-portal-causes-constant-t3086743
Maybe it's the same issue and we can narrow down the problem.

Im only around open networks at work and it does the soft reboots around my house which is secured
My random reboots started shortly after the Samsung Push Services app was updated. I force stopped it, disabled it and uninstalled the update and I haven't had a reboot in a while.
My phone was rebooting several times every day before that.
Edit: The random reboots are back. This is very frustrating.
reflash the firmware fix the problem for me. No reboot since 24 hours. 5 to 6 reboots per day before. Hope it will continue.
I also have the same issue. It has happened 2 times for me, today and yesterday. I had the phone in my hand and suddenly I see the Samsung logo. Within 5 minutes it reboots 2-3 times. This sucks =(
I have the same problem, it only happens to me when I open Play Store or when I update something.
Edit: I have the F model.
I have had my 920i for almost a week, and I haven't had any random reboot at all. Everything works as supposed to.

I bought my 920i from Breed on Ebay. Everything has been great for the most part, but I do experience a random reboot at least once every few days. It just happened to me while sitting on my desk.
I am rooted, but I don't have any crazy customizations and I applied stock recovery after root. Only one app is frozen and it's that Samsung Security Agent process that was draining my battery. I also have it connected to a Gear S, but I'm pretty sure that's not the issue.
I wiped it twice yesterday and then set it up. It's definitely not a ROM/cache issue. I'll be interested to see if anyone figures out what this is. It could just be a bug that we'll have to deal with until the next update. Fortunately, the phone restarts super fast.
I also believe this is a software issue. I am not rooted and don't see myself doing that any time soon.
Which network are you using on your 920i? I am on AT&T network

AT&T here, also.
I'm using the G920F with an european carrier, so I think that is a global problem.
It happened to me twice today. That's a first. The only thing that's different is that I have a Gear S connected full time.
Didn't Android 5.01 cause the phone to reboot after some time due to running out of available memory?

Marshmallow update error 411 download unsuccessful

I have been trying to update my wife's bone stock S6 to Marshmallow today. When I check for updates, it shows that it is available. I tell it to download and I immediately get an "update failed to download". It does it on both wifi and lte. I've tried rebooting. Does anyone know what causes this error or how I can get the update installed? Is the update file out there to download it so I could do a manual flash?
Same issue. Very annoying.
same
Having the same problem with my s6 but my wifes s6 edge updated with no problems
Same issue here. Tried through the desktop updater as well but no update was found.
I really hope this isn't some April fools joke. Because it's doing the same thing for me.
Update has been pulled.
Apparently the update has been pulled.
This is From Verizon support:
"We have had a couple other customers chat in with the same issue (in the past 10 minutes) and we did confirm with Samsung that the Marshmallow update is on hold right now because of some bug fixes. They do not have an estimated time for the release of the update yet but once it is known it will become public."
We've been had. Jokes on is! Good one, Samsung assholes!
This is pure bull ****. Same problem here, update unsuccessful. Just great. 20 months later and I still can't get it, bad enough I can't root... wah.
They'll probably take another few months to release it again. Google really needs to put pressure on the providers to release these updates quicker.
Scratch that. About a half hour after my comment above, the update is downloading.
Was getting the same error. I just powered my phone off then turned it back on. Update screen popped up and it's downloading now.
Yep. I'm on Marshmallow now.
I was able to update just now as well.
Updated here as well.

This if ****ing retarded. Ive downloaded like 10 times and it fails between 1-30% every ****ing time. WTF!!!
I just noticed that I am on the April 2nd Security patch. I wonder if those that updated yesterday are showing a different patch level. Was there actually a bug that Verizon was able to pull, fix, and re-release in only hours? That has to be a record.
Anyone know where I can find the odin files for this?

New OTA B229?

Hello. I just received a new OTA, dav-703lc233b212_b229. I thought the b212 was the last one. Anybody else?
Received it this morning, haven't installed it yet.
anyone dares/wants to try out? /p8max
Last update f-uped my phone..
Seems to work
The last update broke all Google apps. Nonetheless I gave this one a go this morning. So far so good, android 6 with Dec 2018 update. An update that worked was long overdue!
Not noticed any differences yet, nothing appears to be broken
cool :good::highfive:
but whats better now? its not an android version upgrade,,just UI fixes? How could the phone go up on android os version?
Thanks!
Ditto.
Received, did not install, maybe never will, based on the last negative experience mentioned above/below.
but still interested if anyone installs it

Is the update still OK? It is nagging me to install but I don't want to degrade the phone like last time.

10.3.10 back again?

I heard that they pulled back the 10.3.10 update and I hadn't received it too but now I'm recieving the update and was wondering if it's worth it? Is it ladded with issues like the previous one?

Yes, i also read that they pulled it back due to issues,
My bad, i updated my phone immediately i received the update (probably a week ago).
Yes it has few issues (atleast for me) which annoys me sometimes, but its manageable.
Recommend not to update.
