Buying in Europe?

Anybody seen the MediaPad X2 in Europe for sale yet? Or people having experience with online sellers ( where you do not end up with a sky high import tax at delivery? ). Thanks...

I ordered a GEM-703L from a UK seller today. More expensive than the GEM-701L that's been advertised on Amazon for months but I just didn't want to wait any longer.
Also I have my doubts whether the GEM-701L will be available in the 3G/32GB gold version.
And lastly ROM development for the GEM-703L will be ahead of the GEM-701L.

How are you liking the X2? THe 703-L is the Chinese version, I believe (Honor X2)? Or is it configured for the European market (Google Play installed, default language is not Mandarin, etc.?)

So far so good although I am still waiting for the unlock code from Huawei.
My X2 came with Google Play pre-installed and English language.
I did a factory reset and then I could choose whatever language I required. Google Play disappeared but can easily be installed through the Huawei app store app.

Thanks for the feedback. Couple of questions for you:
Does the back of the device say "Huawei" or "Honor"? I've seen different versions and I'm not sure what the difference is.
Also, was the phone not unlocked when you received it? It won't work with your local SIM without getting a code from Huawei?
Would it be possible for you to take some screenshots of the web browser in portrait and landscape mode, for us to get an idea of how different the screen real estate is compared to normal-sized phones? A screenshot of something like GMail or MS Word would be great too, if possible.

The back of the phone says Honor.
The phone is SIM unlocked. I meant the code for unlocking the bootloader.
I don't use the stock browser but Chrome.
There is a setting called Application Display effect where you can force apps to shrink. You can set this globally or per app.
For example if you enable this for Flipboard it will open in tablet mode.

Honor is just the name used for the Mediapad X2 in China. So if you have a version with Honor on the back, its the "Chinese" ( 03 ) version. From technical specs the only real difference between the 3 version is a differences in the LTE frequency support.

The code that people are requesting is the ability to access the bootloader so they can run custom roms on it. In simple terms Huawei sends you the ability to root the entire device so you can run anything you want on it. Unlike plenty of other phone's where you need to do tricks or use bugs to get complete access.

A quick way to compare is to look up the X1, where there are more examples out from. The X2 is technically just a X1 with a upgraded SOC. All the other components are the same. The upgrade fixes the only negative thing about the X1 ( the "slow(er)" and outdated A9 cores ).

Try the "VIEW LAYERED" option at the bottom to compare screen sizes.

I'm new and i hope this is the right place where post this question.
I live in Italy (sorry for my bad English so) and I have a lumia 920: good phone but WP is dead. Almost all apps crash and OS will not be updated. I have to change it, quickly!
I need a good device whit "all", updated, that it last some years, but i can spend under € 300 ($ 330). It seems impossible, I'm desperate!
I had seen Huawei P9Lite but it has not the gyroscope, and i need it (not only for pokemon go).
After searching, the device on the top for me are:
Huawei Honor 7 (maybe I should wait for the release of 8 for a lower price)
Huawei P8
Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe (I fear for the processor Intel).
But I'm not sure.
What you think about? Can you help me?

If you could find one for $330 then get the oneplus3 or the axon 7. (they are $400 currently but) You could probably find one that someone mistakenly chose and didn't like and are selling it on eBay/Craigslist

Get the OnePlus 3, it has 6GB of RAM and has full XDA support (as in ROMs, Kernels). It will also last a long while. I know people with the OnePlus One and they say it still can handle today's stuff (games, software etc.).

Hey pal you are the only one who replied; so tanx. Eventually I discovered that GT3 is GR5 mini which is the new design of P9 Lite of 2016 (let's keep it a secret" . As a PERSIAN proverb says "When A Mystery Gets Solved Gets Easy!". So just do what ever you do for rooting P9 lite for rooting GT3 - Gr5 mini.
But about your Inquiry :EVERYTHING is great exept microphone, The mic is terrible.
FingerPrint Scanner is EXTRAORDINARYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

It is 30 US Dollars Cheaper than P9lite. No custom Roms Yet. but really something.
By the way do you know a good bluetooth handsfree which is compatible with windows PCs and Android Phones at the same time???

Where to buy and world warranty?

I want to buy an Mate 9, I live in Sweden and its isnt official released here. I wounder if there are any safe webstore that sells it for around 400-450 euro/pound.
Also, does Huawei have any European or wolrd warranty?

Don't expect to get a new device for that price. They are more like 600 euro. I got mine for 380 euro and I gave also sony z3 in the price.

We only get Mate 9 Pro here. I bought mine from Conrad.se, which has their warehouse in Germany. Price then (5 months ago) was 7699 kr.

Yes, strangely Mate 9 isnt released in Sweden, only the pro. I really want an bigger screen.

Eglobal central had Mate 9(MHA-L29) for 412,99€ and now they have it out of stock.

That is interesting , we honor device users dont have that walpaper in device, well not in honor 6x ,may be in other device....

That's the image available on Amazon page of Honor 6X! I know because i acquired mine just there (and saw the image only there and not in phone wallpapers :cyclops: ) but i can say that the same image was used on the variant of 32GB/3 ram version too, it's identical to the one i saw as example when ordered mine.
