Just wanted to let everyone knows that playon works great on honeycomb, even though it's not officially supported yet on it, I bought the premium license cause I had the basic one and to my surprise, everything streams and works great, hulu, Netflix and so much more, local wifi and remote wifi too.
I hope they will update it soon to support honeycomb with higher definition and better bitrate. But for now I love it, plus there is a plugin like tv show stream that pulls all shows and stream them.
What is the app for? Any link?

I use PlayOn and even though the video quality is so-so and the videos take awhile to buffer it does work for me.
just got an email from Fred at playon support and honeycomb support with better quality is coming soon
PlayOn will currently work for Honeycomb, but we are working on changes that will improve the quality. As Honeycomb hasn't been out that long, we have had to adapt, and this should be out in the public soon.

I paid for the premium support too. I sure appreciate how good their tech support it. They usually respond very quickly.
I paid for a one month sub to try it out but I found that I like Plex more. Just a personal preference. It would be awesome if PlayOn & Plex could be combined.
i think that once flash gets better and smoother on android, the picture quality will be better from playon cause it uses flash, i have it on my ipad2 and it runs smoothly and great image quality, also on remote wifi too, which plex couldnt on my pc

I can't seem to get the playing app to play any videos....sees my channels but when i press it it just doesn't connect. The funny thing is that if i run it Thur the web browser it plays...I thing the app does not see my flash player.

Try doubletapping tthe screen. It works for me in full screen, but not when it's smaller (on TF, not Galaxy).

What is the free tv and movies app for android? That is compatible with the Droid Charge of course.

Crackle
I personally love Crackle for droid app, also unlike Hulu that blocks (unless changed recently) most mobile devices from viewing the page in a browser (such as watching it on xoom) Crackle does not.
I have not tried their pay version but i love the free version.

I'm trying to find out how I can change the video play back quality on certain apps.
The play back stream quality on chrome sucks balls. I don't know why it isnt forcing my LTE to download them faster.
I know this because I have the data transfer rate in my status bar. When I use the YouTube app, it downloads a lot faster and has better quality. But when I use chrome to watch a video, its total bull.

when youre using chrome to play back a video, it can only go as fast as the site that posted it allows. many sites only allow very slow speeds(especially if its one of those sites that posts new movies for free type of bootlegs). and to change video quality per app, that app needs to have video quality settings, or you can not change it.

This is in my knowledge the only app to transcode the local media to Chromecast! Great job! However due to the adds casting the Chromecast renders not responsive very often.
