Le Pro 3AI how to enable camera2api? - LeEco Le Pro3 AI (Model x651) Guides, Development

Hey guys i have the Le Pro 3AI X651 and i want to enable camera2api to take full advantage of the camera. I want to, more specifically, control the shutter speed. I want it to remain open for at least 30 secs. While you can already control it from the stock app it is limited to only 1/2 secs. My friend's honor 6x can go up to 8secs but i want my phone to go to 30 secs. Any way to activate camera 2api. Note: this phone can't be rooted for now and twrp can be installed. Any way to do it on the computer? Thanks.

I installed a TWRP (X651)

this function simply powers off phone at specified time and then back power on at specified time.
It is somehow like real power off, because phone is fully inactive (dont react), but if alarm is setup phone wakes up to run it... so it is probably some very deep sleep state of ARM CPU....
I use this function on my BLU studio 5.3 and I power off my phone at 22:30 and power on at 5:30 daily...it is just one of setting in phone setiings menu... very nice very usefull

It is Dual SIM, but only 1 SIM card is able to provide data connection (1st slot).
Also there is a bug in current firmwarte which sometimes caused phone to loose signal when roaming betweem BTSes, only solution to regain is reboot (fligh mode does not resovle it).
According to Prestigio fix is under development.
Was someone able to install GTalk on this phone ? Mine lack the app and i had no luck trying to install it (no root/no custom recovery).
EDIT: Update to 1.0.08 via OTA was not received, als the ones which should have been done by recovery menu was not successful.
After update to 1.0.08 via flashing program (a bit complicated) and then OTA to 1.0.09 now the GTalk works when downloaded the version for ICS.
Updates can be found here: http://yf2.value4it.com/Service_Files/Smartphones/PAP4300/
P.S.: Also by the folder structure it looks like there will be Prestigio Multiphone 4500 and 5000.

Got it working on the note 7 port Rom
I'm on a Note 5 and going to give this a try using my version of TWRP. Will edit this post and report findings!
Able to boot after flashing the first .zip. Always got boot loop previous after flashing TWRP but not flashing root! Thanks for the solution!
Basically the minimum I want is the ability to remove my boot sound and update my hosts file. This lets me do that but otherwise be stock. Good enough. Wish I had xposed, root, but still Android Pay and PGO without reboots but that's ok.

Hello, I would like your help.
First of all, sorry for my poor English.
I installed the Root Switch to use Pokemon Go, but my phone crashed and rebooted while I played. After that, I was not able to activate root again, including the SuperSU app says my cell does not have Root.
Does anyone know how I should proceed? Would redoing root solve my case?
Thank you.

Yes that's correct
It looks like the Root Switch has stopped working, at least here on my S4 I9505 with Android 5.0.1.
Anyone else going through this?
Root Switch never work on my G900T S5 with Lollipop 5.1.1
There was a safetynet update last week that breaks RootSwitch. Had to go the Magisk route but now can use Android Pay along with PoGo

do we have to use systemless root on android 6.0.1?

before 2 months ago i have been out of the modern android scene for a while. so now i'am on android 6.0.1 on my xiaomi redmi 3s. my bootloader is unlocked and im on us global dev.
i have been been struggling to keep up root. i dont like the fact that i have to clean install whenever a update comes for my phone because my phone will not allow OTA to a phone that system modded.
but at the same time not every app i use supports systemless rooting.
my issue is that with system root i cant do OTA'S and whenever a update comes i have to re root.
but on the systemless method not all apps support the systemless mode root.
also it seems that the system mode root works on some occasions, sometime it says systemless mode and sometimes it says system mode.

Unlocked with TWRP and Magisk - Now what?

Thanks to the great work of @D3RP_ I was able to unlock my Verizon branded pixel 2, install TWRP, flash Magisk, and pass Safetynet Checks. I've got Viper 4 Android installed for audio tweaks, and I've installed the Magisk module that changes the Android Emoji to the more visually appealing iOS emoji. What else should I be doing with this powerful tool?
One thing I'd like to do is find a way to quickly launch my flashlight while the screen is off. Or at the very least, I'd like to customize my lockscreen shortcuts to launch the flashlight. I've tried the method listed here, but can't get the activity launcher app to work on the Pixel 2. It Force Closes immediately.
All suggestions welcomed!
Thanks for the shoutout xD Personally, i've remapped Active Edge to something useful (screenshot) but you can really do whatever you want with this guide. I understand the want to push your phone further and further, but sometimes you just have to be happy with what you have. LSpeed and Greenify for batty and usability. Whatever games you want since you pass SafetyNet. I'm waiting for the dev scene to catch up to SDK 27 for Xposed and custom ROMS, I know Lineage just recently ported 8.1 to OnePlus 5, so that would be nice on a Pixel.

So Xposed doesn't work for Android Oreo yet? That is what I relied on in the past to make little tweaks here and there. Magisk modules seem limited in choices.

Unfortunately not, with everything i've seen it's gonna be on Rovo to catch up, since 8.1 is just so much different internally than prior versions. We're at the cutting edge right now, so it's just a waiting game.
Per rovo's update in mid December:
I know many of you are waiting for Oreo support, and indeed I'm pretty far with that. 95% of the code are ported, basic functionality is working on Genymotion. The remaining 5% are obviously those parts of the code which are more difficult to port. I literally just upgraded my primary device to Android 8.1, so I can hopefully start some real testing soon.
I used button remapper to get my flashlight to turn on by holding the volume rocker while the screen is off. However, I still have to turn the screen on to turn off the light. Any suggestions?
Now I'm working on swapping the volume keys when viewing in landscape. It never made sense to me to watch the volume indicator increase to the right as you press on the left side of the rocker.
Which guide did you follow to do it all? Once rooted what is the method to apply updates since there's 2 partitions now?
Newbie struggling with ota with Pixel 2 verizon unlocked
My pixel 2 was purchased from verizon. I unlocked it and installed TWRP and Magisk 15.2. I am struggling trying to find a detailed way to update the newest ota. I’ve been searching and reading but afraid to pull the trigger due to my lack experience. Thanks for your time.
I'd like to add that Substratum alone can be used to theme the pixel 2 UI now that I have root. No need to pay for the Andromeda add on. I'll keep updating this thread as I discover more ways to take advantage of root on the pixel 2.

Scrolling Screen Shot/Capture - why is this so hard to achieve!?! I've tried 3 different apps, even with root access and they all suck at it. Any recommendations for this feature?
Just install edge sense plus and set it to long for flashlight. It'll turn on the flashlight without turning on the screen. I just did it.

Well, thanks for the idea, but it had the same issue as button mapper. The shortcut is disabled after the screen is off for more than 5-10 seconds.
That's weird because mine doesn't behave that way. It will turn on no matter how long the phone has been asleep.

There is no TWRP for our device afaik yet. I think you have to place the ROM file in the root folder, go to Settings -> My Device -> MIUI Version, then press like 10 times on the big "13" icon, then press 3 dots under the battery icon and select "Choose update package".
That didn't work for me though for some reason, but you can try.

Magisk supports android 13 afaik, so yes, you can reinstall it.
Just installed via fastboot and I dont notice any huge differences although I am now failing CTS on safteynet which I wasnt before I updated.
i'm not going to type it out again but if you search my posts in this forum there is an easy way to download the file to your phone, use a magisk module and tape on miui update like 10 times and then you can flash the file through the phone updater without having to hook up to computer
sigh, apparently hard bricked my phone. Can't get fastboot to pop up even... Will EDL method revive my phone? Recommend anyone for the service?
Could anyone tell me if it is worth upgrading to MIUI 14? What are the new features on the Fold 2? Does it have a taskbar like Samsung Fold? Are all Magisk modules compatible? Does Pokémon Go work?

Same **** with mi 11 ultra
They are extremely stupid can't gave us good ROM
With new features
And smoother experience
They can't make good ROM for fold 2
So you're telling me I waited for the new Android 13 and it's nothing new. I was hoping for a better experience with the phone, so now I have to wait for someone to make a custom ROM with TWRP.
