Andromeda Local Client - Samsung Galaxy S8 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Its working fine. It uses the same shell script which Andromeda Desktop Client uses.

Yes it does, sadly.

Hum ok but ... andromeda it's just for no rooted device. If you are root you don't need this app !

Do i have to buy andromeda for the shell to work?
I downloaded an apk on the net and substratum said that "the andromeda desktop client needs to connect to your device to be able to function with substratum"

I know this is an old thread, but I have a Pixel C and I'd love to get Substratum running on it. My Windoze PC is a piece of crap and the only Linux device I have is a Chromebook. The standard methods arent working,
Any chance this apk is available anywhere?
Thanks!

Yes the core features of Google are included like PlayStore and GMail
This works with unofficial builds of magisk 10 and phh's superuser if anyone was wondering.

Phh's superuser is an opensource alternative to SuperSU and in combination with magisk works with apps that check for safety net. Magisk takes the systemless root idea to a broader level. Making essentially every compatible mod systemless. Let's say you're on a stock rom and want to be able to keep OTAs, but there's a feature you must have, maybe it's an advanced power menu, or wanted to to use an app that functions better when a system app. Magisk does all of this on each boot, but in a away that doesn't actually modify the system in a way ota's can tell. So the mods are only applied while booted, and makes recovering from bootloops easier. The threads/sections for them would explain better. Plus the creator of Magisk and several other amazing devs working on it have the same phone I have (htc 10) so it makes support super easy.

Note: The application requires root to work.
A brief description of the application's capabilities and features:
Have you ever wanted to use a certain keyboard for normal use, and a different one for the S-Pen! This will ease your life.
- When the service is running, the pen's position is detected and the keyboard is switched to the pre-defined one.

Changelog:
V3.4
- Rewritten application. No longer requires a special installer, just install regularly or from the play store and give it root permission.
V3.3
-Improved installer by writing main application directly to /system/ instead of extracting to storage and then moving it.
-Added installation support on marshmallow
V3.2
-Added dynamic installation which will help this application get installed on many devices without any problems
-Added support for jellybean and kitkat devices.
-Should work on Note 2, 3, 4 and 5 and other S-Pen devices now without any problems (all variants, only N910F note 4 variant was tested, please give feedback)
V3.1
-Rewrote the installer. Installer is much more reliable now.
-Rewrote the service from scratch up. No notification, and uses very little power since it only runs when the pen state changes.
-Removed Learning/Static modes because I thought they were redundant.

It needs root access because the "default_input_method" setting is a secure setting, which only system level applications can change.

I thought so. But luckily for you, you don't need root access to change that value. Just WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS which you can instruct someone to grant via ADB. Just like this app: https://www.xda-developers.com/keyb...utomatically-switches-keyboards-without-root/

The application already does this automatically - it grants itself WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS by using root. I'll look into your suggestion of giving a root-free version where the user grants the permission through adb. Thanks for the info!
No problem. It would become a useful app for a far larger group of people if it doesn't need root!

Question Goodlock for Samsung A12

I know that goodlock doesn't work on OneUI Core devices but aren't there any modules that work on the galaxy a12 or any way to install them even if you've rooted your phone.

I'm afraid root is not enough, OneUI Core does NOT have GoodLock stuff implemented inside the fw.
The only way to get GoodLock working is to run full OneUI, in this case a port of full OneUI.

It helped in two ways:
1. To use Lucky Patcher to make patches to android and disable signature verification in the package manager which installs a magisk module that does this.
2. To use Split APK Installer to sign APKs and use it's rooted installer method to install the modules
Also I'm using your patched Goodlock apk from your website and nicelock too

I did not know because i never had a device running OneUI Core, i only knew it doesn't work.
At some point in the past, probably on android 9 or 10, i also unpacked OneUI Core SystemUI and some other apps/jars from the fw, and found many things GoodLock modules need to be missing (for example SystemUI lacked java support for QuickStar), that's why i still am a bit sceptical everything works natively, but maybe Samsung added the code in there and limit instalation only by signature.

Yeah maybe. Every module works fine except for Sound Assistant when you're customising the volume panel. I mean you can change the theme but you can't move it around or move it to left or right or even add buttons to it. But everything else is ok

Question How to Pixelify the original android 12 ROM?

Hi guys,
I've used several of the ROMs that are available for the OnePlus 9, and the feature that i miss the most is the ability to spoof the name of the phone to make it work as a pixel. Is there a way to make this happen in the original android 12 rom with root?
The reason for this is the unlimited space in the google photos.
Thanks

I would try it but I'm on a custom ROM and happy with it for now. It works flawlessly on 11.2.10.10 as well as a custom ROM that's using OOS12 firmware.
If you use the Magisk bootloop protector it should be relatively safe to try but I understand now wanting to risk it. Having to restore is a tedious process.
Pixelify isn't supported (yet?). You can however install Lsposed and use the Pixelify GPhotos module for that functionality.

Can anyone help me? I installed pixelify (via lsposed) module & Universal safety net fix by kdrag0n however since I have rooted, my phone keeps getting hacked.
