Well, I tried it. Still using it. Honestly. It rocks. This is a great rom, built from stock, with a lot of customization's I often implemented myself, therefore very time saving, thanks to you. Well done. Very well done.

@shox31
Glad to see you here, your 6p thread and ROM seems to be pretty popular. Once I get my tablet next week, I'll for sure give this a flash.
Does this comes with a Gapps?
Yes the core features of Google are included like PlayStore and GMail
This works with unofficial builds of magisk 10 and phh's superuser if anyone was wondering.
Sh0X31, I see you mentioned that you only build for devices you have. Would you be willing to look into making a version for the "OG" model? I happily volunteer to test anything. What do you think?

Student life trink and smoke to much sorry. But what you can do with magisk and phh's supersu? Do it replace SuperSU?

Phh's superuser is an opensource alternative to SuperSU and in combination with magisk works with apps that check for safety net. Magisk takes the systemless root idea to a broader level. Making essentially every compatible mod systemless. Let's say you're on a stock rom and want to be able to keep OTAs, but there's a feature you must have, maybe it's an advanced power menu, or wanted to to use an app that functions better when a system app. Magisk does all of this on each boot, but in a away that doesn't actually modify the system in a way ota's can tell. So the mods are only applied while booted, and makes recovering from bootloops easier. The threads/sections for them would explain better. Plus the creator of Magisk and several other amazing devs working on it have the same phone I have (htc 10) so it makes support super easy.

Debloated Customized and Inspired
Hello Huawei user
Since the Galaxy S3 i build Custom ROMs, but i'm since then not known here.. Everyone that use my builds know, the ROM is almost completely debloated. Unfortunately Im not a fan of the whole content they build in, although less than others. Before i changed to huawei i had an S3 like mentioned before, and a Z2 from sony. Im here since mid of june, and appreciated so far with a very stable and bugfree P9. At this stage i start here with my projects for all users like to flash custom roms. My support is highly 2-3 years or until EOL from Huawei.

Fantastic, I'm gonna try this soon.
Kindly consider to use build 183 on your next update. I think the JPEG output is slightly improved in that build and the new Smart-E feature is kinda neat.
Thanks!

Hi @dkionline
I've had the pleasure flashing the ROM last night and been running it for more than 12 hours now.
Everything seems to work fine except for the Camera apps having issues launching twice today. It didnt launch and after multiple tries the screen went blank and I had to reboot.
Hope you can have a look on this. Thanks!
@darthkir, is yours L09 or another?
I know some apps can lag and stop running after a time like gallery and tapatalk. I look into it. Maybe bring a fix patch or build in next update.

Mine is a L19.
Should you considering another build, kindly look at B183. There is new feature added in the camera app and it seemed like the JPEG engine is a bit more matured.
okay @darthkir, ill check what i can do. They maybe changed camera libs.
Btw, whats the new feature? I got the firmware, but im lazy to use L09 not AL00 builds.

One that I can remember (if correct) is Object Recognition mode. Didnt have the time to test it out though.
Besides the Camera app, I can remember a new smart assitance feature called the Smart E. Something that can replace the navigation bar by using a single floating, widget-like thingy.

Ah, I'm sorry to hear the but it seems to be working fine for me. Could you provide logs? I strongly believe something is interfering with it.
Thanks for your work on this LazerL0rd! Quick question: what are you using for external wifi adapter?

I'm personally not using any. A few times I used this Chinese Adaptor which I couldn't read the company I could use monitor mode.

Error in NetHunter Terminal
I've installed Kali NetHunter over the Magisk module lately. Everything works fine, even the package install&update works. The only thing that doesn't is the NetHunter Terminal. Every time I open it and select "KALI" it tries to start something but then stops working without any visible error.
Android and AndroidSU work perfectly but kali doesn't. The funny thing is, when I go into the NetHutner app and Install&update a package, I get a root console which then works perfectly fine.
Has anyone had this problem too? I'd really like to use kali linux on my phone.
Phone: OnePlus 6
Android: 8.1.0
OOS: 5.1.9

Awesome!
I would be glad to test/develop the angler version. If I haven't misunderstood this module was tested on Bullhead .
I had an early version of nethunter with custom kernel and supersu, i tryed to update my device, and the result is:
Tha latest version of Nougat isn't compatible to last version of TWRP, the last version of Oreo isn't working with Magisk + custom kernel.
After like 54 clean-flash, I have the last stock Angler' Image (Oreo) with the last magisk , without any module on it and without Nethunter.
I saw that there is a module of Nethunter for Magisk which don't support custom kernel , so , no alpha card, no pineapple (eth), no hid attack , no hackrf .
I have all this kind of stuff.
It would be great if the next releases will contain nexmon like the other project (Nethunter OS) of BinkyBear.
So i want to contribute , anyone can point me how to start?
Thank you a lot. Regards.

I would be glad to test/develop the angler version. If I haven't misunderstood this module was tested on Bullhead .

It works on any device. Angler has special kernel WiFi support so using a custom kernel that supports aircrack-ng along with this module would be an improvement.

Regards.

Best thing to do is use my module alongside a custom kernel built by you with the nexmon patches. Guides for kernel building and cherry-picking exist around XDA with great ones by Nathan.
PS - HID needs its own commit and pineapple should work with my module but if not you can kang the 80211 injection commit from my zestyhead repo on GitHub (https://github.com/lazerl0rd/zestyhead).
if my kernel not support nethunter ?? what zip I should installed on my device to work on like HID attack ,wifi injection ,etc . thanks

If your kennel doesn't support it, you can't use those features. I'm going to clear up the zip formats here soon too so just keep an eye out for that.
The best zip to use currently is the one with firmware.
I just wanted to advise that I have installed and used every ROM in the Honor View 10 forum.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-view-10/development
Need:
- Honor View 10 ROM
- gapps (https://opengapps.org/)
- Your current p20 pro kernel (backup with twrp)
- Magisk 17.1 zip
- Huawei_P20Pro_B131_Camera.zip (https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11050483647474833532)
- HwCamera2_addon.zip (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ktNZWP8O0Oqnm6Zb5c_mFpwKyHvkdCTK)
Note: Pixel ROM doesn't need gapps, and after installing one of these ROMs on first boot it maybe reboot on its own once or twice, it's normal. I'm gonna try and export the IR blaster apk from the stock image, might work. maybe....
Doesn't work:
- NFC
- RAW picture format
- Headphones by type-c
- Dual speakers
- VoLTE (Not yet tested)
They have lots of great customization options, note when I installed Android 9 ROMs it breaks twrp, not sure why but erecovery brings me back every time.

Why do you need the Kernel? Is it for recovery purposes if something goes wrong?

I'm not sure why, it maybe device specific as I have the L04 model. If I don't use the kernel it bootloops.

Do you have problems with the battery on PixelExperience? Mine it goes down pretty fast and the device heats a little bit.

Yes, the battery ran out relatively quickly. I removed the NFC app and since then the battery life is better. Tomorrow I test the screen on time.
I hate EMUI and try to find the best ROM with Android 9. PixelExperience seems the best choice to me.
I'm partial to the Aicp Oreo Edition - beautiful dark interface and tons of customization.

!Note:
- I know this tablet is pretty much OUTDATED but I just felt like sharing this small stock based rom for the small amount of people still using this device.
- I also know that there are better rom than this but it's the best I could now for now.
- You can install the ROM by 2 methods

If anyone knows how to compile a custom kernel directly into the rom .zip file, I would really like to know how! thanks!

ok, i wil start now, i try to port tab 3 kk to tab 2 but is got stuck at bootanimation... if you want i can share a link to you
I just turned on this tablet for the first time in years. Nice to see someone still messing around with it. I'm using a rom made years ago (pixel rom). I will try your new rom soon after I do a backup in twrp. The rom I'm on now has no Samsung apps, hence the reason for the backup lol. Anyways, will update soon with a review.
