AOD mod for OREO - Samsung Galaxy S8 Themes, Apps, and Mods

I have been using this mod below for my S8 on Nougat. It worked great. It no longer works with Oreo. Any other ways to achieve and AOD with just notifications?

Q: App/Mod to use Trusted WiFi for Smart lock

Gravity Box for MM has a feature which allows you to use WiFi for smart lock feature. But I recently switched to a nougat based ROM (+ Magisk Systemless root) so i can't use gravity box anymore and now i am really missing that feature now. So, I wanted to know if there is any app or mod that can mimic that feature?

How to get the stock Android AOD (almost)

Hi there,
If you're like me hating the OnePlus red non-centered ambient display, the Xposed module "Enable Ambient Display" works on our device, despite it not being made for.
So you can install this, freeze the stock com.oneplus.aod app and turn on the Ambient display in the room settings and you'll get the stock AOD when notifications arrive, as well as the different customisations in the module's APK.
Only thing that is not working is the lift up feature, sadly. It does however kinda work when in the test mode from inside the module APK though...
Where is it?

Pop up notification style not changed after Oreo update

Hi, my s7 is running on Australian software. After update to Oreo the pop up notifications while using phone doesn't change. I have seen videos of s7 running on official Oreo rom with pop up notifications in a different style ( like that of s8 and s9 like a small Bubble on top of screen when message and other notification arrives.) Any idea how to fix that?
I was wondering the same thing...
Same here... is there any solution to that problem?

Integrating a screen recorder on my rooted Galaxy Note8

I've always wanted to be able to swipe down on my notification bar and turn on screen recording, sadly that isn't an option on Pie and i was wondering if it could somehow be integrated maybe through a magisk module?
i know i can use a screen recorder from the play store but i hate installing a lot of apps and always try to keep my phone as clean as possible.

Best way to hide status bar in Android 11 OxygenOS

Today I have received the notification to upgrade to Android 11 and I'm reluctant to do so because I heard that immersive mode will be permanently disabled. I make use of the following command on Android 10 OxygenOS and know that it will not work:
adb shell settings put global policy_control immersive.status=*
I have read conflicting information and I'm not sure if it's possible to remain stock while hiding the status bar to prevent burn in. I'm basically interested in a solution that allows me to use the stock launcher and gesture behavior (basically replicating the above command).
I'm open to rooting even if this is now required. Does anyone know of the best way to proceed?
I had a similar issue with hiding the navbar to allow FNG to work correctly. I ended up using a substratum theme to accomplish this. Working fine so far. Head over to https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/tag/v22.1 tog et started with root and modules.

Thank You for replying, so just to clarify, once the phone is rooted and magisk has been deployed, I may just download the Substratum application and install compatible themes.
Are you able to use this method to hide the status bar in addition to the navbar (just to re-confirm, I mean the top panel with all the notifications and system indicators)?
