info product Code

hi,
I want to Know where i can found the product code of my device like: GT-N 8000EAAITV.
And is possible modify this code flashing other firmWare or is it Unique?
Please help me.

This code can be found in Kies (when the Note is connected) or in Settings - Device information.
The "code" identified the current firmware installed, you cannot modify it as such (and it would also make no sense), but an update to the firmware will result in a changed code.
However, you do not seem familiar with flash upgraded, stick with the ones supplied by Samsung. Otherwise you might brick your device.

There is a parameter that i see and not change that permit me to verify the region product of the device ?

Kies shows the product/region code in the section where it informs about possible firmware updates, for my device it is DBT (German device).
Beside CheckFus, I yet did not find a code to access that information on the phone directly.

CheckFus is correct, as it reads out the data from the device. In Kies, the country code is in brackets at the end.
Have a look at www.sammobile.com for the firmware version available, then you can compare.
As far as I can see everything can change when you flash as firmware. Normally you stick with the one for your region (otherwise it might not flash or brick the device), but I flashed the HC 3.2 P7501 (Tab 10.1N) on my Tab 10.1 (which have identical hardware, just different design due to the apple lawsuits) and my 10.1 reported itself as 10.1N. Flashing the ICS 10.1 firmware, it was a 10.1 (without N) again.
But where is your need to change that? As long as the Note 10.1 works, don't touch it if you are not 100% sure about what you are doing.

I'm not interested to change it but i want to be sure that my device is an italy device.
Is possible that my seller flashing italian firmware on an american/europe device version and sell me this like an italian?

ITV should be the Italian version. I doubt that there are hardware differences between the versions, the firmware should do the localization. There have even been reports that a 8013 (US WIFI) is identical with the 8010 (EU WIFI), only the firmware is different.
Was the package closed and sealed when you got the phone? Where is the problem you fear.
Regarding the S-Note PDF import: Beside that I use ezPDF for PDF view/annotation, S-Note properly imports with my device.

What version do you have (Settings, App Manager, All, S Note, Version)?
Mine is 5r11736FV03
BUT S Note is part of the firmware, it cannot be modified without root rights and if modified, it might prevent any further OTA updates (as OTA are diff updates and if S Note does not match, a diff cannot be applied). I tried it once to install an older one and S Note just crashed.

I have flashed this on my M8St, very good until now.
As this rom was totally based on M8d which is a China Unicom version of M8,
Some of the stuff was for chinese use, like the weather widget is from chinese source. maybe you need to have some manual work for this, but generally it is a very stable rom.

I did not test it myself but in China lot's of replies to this thread without any bug reported.
So I think there is no risk to flash it.
I can not understand your model, this rom is ok for M8Sd, but I don't know what does mes_dwgl mean, i can not find similar information in my M8St

I can not contact the author of this, I am not sure if it is ok for me to transfer to google drive for share.

I have tried to translate as much as possible in aroma installer of this rom.
After this i installed it on my E8 dual sim (Unicom) and it works!
Now will test it for a few days and see how it goes.

Also the HTC weather app does not find my location.
I am back at Oweida his ROM, will wait for L5.0 before upgrading to another ROM.

Just installed this rom on my E8ST and so far its working like a charm, will use it for a while and post some feedback.
Its a pitty the installer is in Chinese as it allows some customisations, it supports multiple E8 versions.
The OS installed in perfect English with Google Play (finally ) which was selected during the rom install.
The installer brings several Google apps, SuperSU, Xposed with Sense6 Toolbox and Greenify. Also DotView with several themes.
It comes with several Chinese apps which can be uninstalled: Baidu App Market, App Search, QQbrowser, iFly (keyboard) and Qihi (needs freeze)

Start off with
Bootloader unlock + TWRP guide
HTC One E8 TWRP Custom Recovery
Once TWRP is installed, make a full backup! important
Then grab SchROM which i've mirrored to google drive >> E8 SchROM v2.4
Dump the SchROM into the root folder of your SDcard, then using TWRP install SchRom.zip
During install it will still mostly be chinese, but the first screen will look familiar which is the language screen. Make sure you select your correct language/region here
Further on, twice it will popup to customize HTC software... i cant read so.. default is fine and continue.
On the 3rd screen (as i remember) it will allow you to select google software + SuperSU. Select all those (except the Chinese SU) and continue.
Then it will wrap up and reboot phone... launch your Google Play.. let it update and you're good to go.
Uninstall the chinese software you dont want, and you can freeze/disable Qihi.
I think my only issue atm is BlinkFeed showing only Chinese sources, also HTC backup manager asks Sina login. So i think the Sense6.0 version is for China region Perhaps there's an easy solution to fix this but, i'll check on this next weekend as i'm little busy atm. Perhaps its as simple as grabbing an WWE Sense6.0 for 4.4.4 from an M8 rom and install it.

In my case i dont need BlinkFeed so i disable it.
There are some tricks to set language in build prop or so and then BlinkFeed is in your right language i will try to find the thread.

I asked Vivo about firmware change. They said it is not possible, if I want to have firmware from India I have to buy phone in India, phones from China can have only Chinese firmware.

there must be a way to change firmware with the global ... we just need to understand how

Well if Anyone find a way let"s share it.

With a global rom the amount of devs increases which may have the positive effect that someone finds a way...

I tried in recovery mode, there is a option to install a update.

Before changing to the global version, is it not better to wait return from some indian customer ?
Until now i'm pretty happy with the chinese version.

Me too after uninstalling some 20 Chinese bloatware via settings menu + 25 further via adb I’m completely satisfied with smoothness,stability and great battery life.
Don’t actually need global version as I don’t use google assistance and bloatware issue being resolved 100%

My main motivation for a global rom is to replace Jovi with Google Assistant; also would like to get rid of Vivo account altogether.
I would probably wait for the HK version though; Indian ROM might have some other localisation features I don't need.

Did installing the indian rom over the Chinese rom work in recovery mode? If so, would it be possible to get a quick list of steps/directions so i can do same? I downloaded the Indian ROM but haven't yet tried to install it. Would prefer to have the global rom vs. China ROM. Thanks!

Search for PCT-LGRP2-OVS, you can also install the Firmware Finder App from Playstore so you can do ""Check Avability" this makes sure the firmware is approved for your imei. You can also flash non approved versions but some google services might not work.
Anyway I used this one:

Well. I dont get it. I have read 5 times the proxy wiki ''instructions'' went true everything dosens of times. But when i open up hi suite and try to recover it sayes that my device is not supported. Can you please write normal step-by step instructions here? the wiki instuctions is chaotic and misleading leaving me with more questions than answers(or am i the only one to think like that)
What do i do:
1. open up proxy app, press http component, choose original, it sayes patching succesfull. Then in "C:\Users\
i have added the lines
2. i find package url paste into the proxy app lines, select it. Then i press 'setup' it checks everythins and sayes that is ok and can proceed to installation.
3. boot phone in recovery open hi suite-recover but it sayes that phone is not supported
in hisuite setting i have set mannual given proxy

Can i know if your phone is still Google Play certified after updating to 10.1.0.218? I done mine but it became uncertified. That's why i rolled back to 10.1.0.213.

Same. I checked and it says my phone is approved for installation but after installed it becomes Google Play uncertified. Now i received the official 10.1.0.225 for my region so i guess i'm good now.

Check the debug logs, perhaps the model is slightly different, there few PCT-L29 variants.

No there more models (Depening on region) but they start for example with PCT-AL10I, so he needs to check the logs to see which one he needs to add to HiSuiteConfig.xml.
Even if you get approved message safetynet can still fail it depends on CTS Match, CTS stands for "Compatibility Test Suite." This is the process Google uses to verify that a device and its firmware meet certification standards.
Firmware 218, was approved for install but still failed CTS Profile, while 228 is approved and also passes CTS Profile, eg Google Safetynet.

Hi all, I have an Honor View 20 stuck to firmware 9.0.1.137D(C652E4R1P6)
I've tride this method and managed to make it work in theory, but still can't find the right firmware version, every time I try one authorized by Firmware Finder, I get this answer from HiSuite Proxy "Your phone seem to be soft-rebranded and will fail authentication" and propose an alternative auth method which fails.
Any help pls?

Hello, i have realme gt neo 2 global version. The current firmware is A06 version, and most people that have global version already get the A07 version of update.
But until now mine still stuck at A06, is there any way to flash the A07 firmware from recovery? Because i cant find the A07 file anywhere..
I need to update to A07 because i want to use deep testing for unlock bootloader..
Anyone has solution ? Thanks

Try using vpn to change your location and clear data and cache for software update from applist. There's a new update with version A.08.

I'm also stuck at A06.

What do you mean by "clear data and cache for software update from applist."?
Also, on Reddit we've been told that OTAs are not linked to locations...

search for "software update" on app list. Make sure to choose "show system apps" from three dots menu. As for vpn, I've tried searching for update after clearing data and cache but no update appear. Redo the steps and connect vpn then I got the update. The logic is, some region or country receive the update early or later according to the schedule from Realme. Maybe it works because the region I chose got the update early.

Which region did you choose? I am in Italy and through "VPN Germany" I managed to go from 05 to 06 but no further.

Hi. I was able to start download Android 12 using a VPN from Madrid, Spain and cleaning the cache of software update app.
Still downloading with 27MB/s . Is ok for a free VPN connection. Thanks for your inputs.

AS far as I Know:
A_07 indian version
A_06 global version.
You can not mix them. I am not sure that the A_08 global. and you will get gradually.

i choose france. a08 is the latest update for indian rom. as for eu or global, stuck at a06. i can even update it to andorid 12 using vpn like all people claims. been trying all mentioned country for vpn but no luck.

what vpn do you use? and what is your region for your rom?

My rom region is Global one and I had previously A06.
I've bought this phone few days ago as my old Mate met a stone with the display and I need a cheaper phone. And every phone test starts with a firmware upgrade
Anyway I was using for this update "VPN Turkey" app connected to Madrid from RO. Previously I've tried to India and Turkey, without success.
Update was successful and at a fast check everything seems normal.

Feedback: Non of mentioned countries for the vpn worked. Guess I just wait for the update. Really, this regional factor + slow updates annoyed me thinking of switching back to iphone.

I've did these steps :
- Cleared the System updated app cache
- Connected to VPN and wait about 10-20 sec to be sure the route is right
- Initiated search/system update and waited for download once new version was found
Previously I had a06.
I also try it that on Romania, Singapore, India, Turkey and for those wasn't any update available for my phone. And every time cleared the cache and started over.
PS/off: Regarding Iphone, I had few of different versions from work and yep I also like the software support and cameras to be honest. I don't like the interface and limitations in some cases. I guess is more about the needs, as the costs became pretty similar versus high end android phones, unfortunatelly.

It's true what you said. If only ios has better personalization, it would be better. But then again, consider the price its a bit overwhelming and not much to offer besides the software, camera and processor. By the way, what do you set your region from your phone settings?

Region is set to Romania with English language (but I don't think language it is matter anyway)
