Hey alex, I have been using your app since way before this thread. With respect to the xposed mod, can you instead create a lucky patcher patch. There was a patch called waplusmini patch that used to most of the things that you do with root+ xposed but used lucky patcher patch. I am only requesting you to look into this because xposed does significantly affect the battery life .
Im usimg 2.18.102 version of xposed patch and somtimes my contacts only receive 1 tick, even though i haven't enabled "disable delivery reports" tweak. Only enabled blue tick disable tweak. Anyone else experiencing this?

Enabled module and rebooted.
Stopped whatsapp as well no use.

EXACTLY what I just logged in to say! I'd love to be able to automatically turn off market autoupdates when I'm not connected to wifi (there's no way I'd remember to manually turn it on and off all the time!), but I imagine there needs to be some additional functionality built into this app first to allow interaction via Tasker?

We're still looking into why it doesn't work on system applications. When we figure that out, we'll update the application right away.
On another note, 1.2 includes it's own sqlite3 binary, so most of the people who had trouble getting it working should find that it works for them now.

Personally, I'd rather see a list of installed apps with a checkbox indicating Autoupdate status so I can quickly run down my list of apps (perhaps with a tab separating system from installed apps) and check/uncheck Autoupdate for each one. Currently, you have to go into each app separately to do this, which is a major pain... Hope this can be considered for a future update?
I went to slide me and it download but wouldn't install and I try to download it in the Android Market, it download but it say "installation error unknown reason - 18" so I can't install... any help? I'm using an Evo rooted with Clockwork recovery.

Great app!!! It would be nice to be able to choose what to update though, all in 1 simple list, just as it was previously mentioned. Also, the ability to turn off auto-updating when roaming would be useful too (however I do have my phone set to disable data altogether when I'm roaming, it might be useful for others).

I've been a fan of DashClock for a long time. But one thing that always seemed misssing about it was that the SMS extension built into it didn't show the contents of the messages you have received. I thought that this couldn't be too hard, and it wasn't.
I grabbed the DashClock SMS extension source and modified it to display the sender in the top part, and the message text in the bottom part. As of version 0.5 it now supports viewing up to 3 separate message threads (as long as you enable that option). As of 0.6 it supports leading to Hangouts. As of 0.7, the issue on Samsung devices (only tested on S3 running stock 4.3) is resolved.

Awesome work! Other extensions that do the same thing required Accessibility Service to work, but would force close some apps for some reason. Yours doesn't require Accessibility Service and is working great.

I would if I knew it was possible, and I had a means of testing it while I started it up. I have no idea if there's an API or the notifications can be read. Try this though.

I just needed to say that I love this app.
I did find one bug in it though.
I have my MMS messages set to not automatically download (thanks to Sprint being kind of dodgy sometimes).
So, sometimes when I get an MMS, this will incorrectly show a seemingly random old text message (although it does show the correct sender).

It probably is how it reads the message thread when you have an MMS. I'm not really sure how I would fix it, it's probably a problem in the original DashClock code.
Updated to version 0.3, check the first post! Hopefully it addresses MMS problems, as the main DashClock dev redid a lot of the code to run the base SMS extension, but I'm not sure if it will actually change anything. Maybe in .4 I'll work on a workaround.

Just use version 0.2.1. It appears that rebasing made it not work right.
From a technical point of view, the messageID value (which is used to seek the right thread and message in the thread) that the old code gave is DIFFERENT than what the new code gives, and the new code's value makes it run wrongly.
I apologize for the problems...in the coming week I'll try to release another update that adds some features.

- For non root users: this app uses private Android Telephony API to "endcall" as soon as it comes (with a blocked incoming number). This method can block calls but with a bit delay. For caller, they perceived as receiver explicitly click on "Endcall" button on incoming call screen. They may redirect to voice mail service. This approach may not work on some ROMs.
- For root users: this app run a system command to "endcall" as soon as it comes (with a blocked incoming number). This is the same as non root users. However, if the option "Pick up then hang up" is on, this app can emulate pick up then immediately hang up. So that caller will no be sent to voice mail service.
- For Xposed users: this app invokes internal phone app code so that it can stop call before handling by phone app (the first two methods handle in parallel with phone app). Same for root users, Xposed also supports "Pickup then hang up" feature.

When you install from playstore you don't see it. If you install from Xposed Installer, you will see it as a module

SMS Blocker supports for
- All Android 4.3 and before
- Android 4.4+ requires xposed enabled.

If you enabled xposed, go to "Settings" tab, then check "Block SMS/MMS". This option will block SMS from blocked numbers.
For add number from sms app: yes, I will working on it.

It's possible with some limitations:
- no preloading / preopening (Quick opener mode) of webpages
- a click on Evernote, Google Docs and etc. will bring you to the latest document or screen of this app and maybe not to the document you actually pinned
- a few apps may reinitialize and lose text in input fields, scroll progress and etc. after switching to them
I'll implement a non-root mode if there're enough interested people that are okay with this limitations.

Okay, I'll implement a non-root mode before or after the full release. May I ask you why folks with a rooted phone (?!) want it? I wonder if it's for security reasons? You can install the system helper by yourself with a root file explorer. Even system apps need a confirmation to gain root and the helper app declares only two additional permissions and shares them with PinTasking.
I am rooted but their are plenty of people who arent.
My phone is rooted, running plenty of rooted apps, and it says I am not and asks to install the helper or uninstall. Do I have to install the helper? I am on Android 5.1.1 HTC One M8.

This could help you:
1. Make sure that you haven't accidentally denied the root pop-up.
2. Restart the app and try it again.
3. It takes a while on Cyanogenmod to show up the root dialog. Tap "verify root" and wait 2-8 seconds.
I experienced the same bug once but I couldn't reproduce it and a simple application restart solved it for me. I'll look into it again.

One issue i am trying to understand ................
I have Note 4 ( N910F ) rooted and on Lollipop 5.0.1
i installed your app from Play store,granted root access etc .
But i found app a bit confusing at first ( functions ..how to use etc ).
i uninstalled app ,as i wanted to see your video and then decide.
After watching video ,i was happy i understood functions better and reinstalled from Play store .
This time app was installed ,without asking again for root ( as in 1 st time when i installed )
It is working fine ,tested it rebooted etc ,but PinTasking does not show up in Superuser..?
However ,whilst typing above ,i had idea and went to PinTasking /Root helper installer and reinstalled
helper then was ask for root access etc ,( even though it was never uninstalled ,as i could see it in Titanuim )
and activated it ,and now app shows up in Superuser .
I have solved my issue ,but want to bring it to your attention.
Very impressed so far with apps.........practical /functional uses !

Yes currently only WhatsApp, Telegram and Messenger. This is to prevent specific notification errors. More will come soon and you can request them here.

Okay cool. The app works great but suggestions I'd make are Facebook, Twitter, Samsung stock messenger,

Still it is the same
As a suggestion, how about support for Disa? It is a Hub Messenger app (SMS/Whatsapp/FB) so it will other sort of support apps for you.

The application and fantastic, but there's always improving! you could put the 1 upper case letter, whenever a message arrives in the whatshapp or telegram the balloon to write 1 letter leaves my tiny ... you could fix that. Thanks
