Told you dude lol
@toastyp
Could you please share with me the QCN of the H910 or tell me where I could find it?
My computer has no signal or bluetooth, but imei and baseband are fine.
They told me that you only need to flash that to make it perfect.
Thank you very much and I hope you save me ...
What exactly is a qcn? Never heard of that partition or seen it listed before in an adb dump. That zip contains every single non sensitive partition available on the h910 idk what else could be missing. Bad Bluetooth and wifi could be a kernel issue or problems with your radio. Try new kernel or reflashing system?

QCN file
It's a shortcut for Qualcomm's calibration network
It is a calibration file for slanderous networks, files that can be extracted and re-downloaded from all the machines that carry the Qualcomm processor and that we need in the case of deleting the EFS files or the severity of the network failure, such as interruption and care should be taken to write badly or by mistake to avoid the problem: Unknown version or in English: (baseband unknown version).
This file is the data related to the signal, along with several configuration parameters in the EFS folder that are responsible for how and that the computer connects to the network, this is useful for when we have the msj. "no service" or "only emergency call".
The QCN is in modemst1 or st2 (I haven't bothered to completely decode them).
Either way, they also contain other parameters that are specific to your device, so you have to have a backup of them -- you can't just take someone else's....
EDIT: if you rooted your H910 using the method I posted, I hope you made the optional backup. I could change the wording to "mandatory", but it isn't mandatory. The "highly recommended" should be sufficient.

@runningnak3d appreciate the info.
@runningnak3d
I had already lost the signal before doing the tutorial AT & T H910 up to v10u. (Actually I did it to see if I recovered the signal) I flashed the full stock for var if I returned but nothing.
Actually I do not know what else to do ...

So you weren't rooted -- your phone just lost signal out of the blue?
I see you still have your IMEI, so I doubt those partitions became corrupt. What is more likely is a hardware problem. Since you can still pull up baseband info, I doubt it is your modem -- more likely there is a break in the antenna.

@runningnak3d
I had dirtysanta root, and the superV20 rom.
After I installed alpharom in the aroma there is an option to update / install modem. I think after that I ran out of signal.
Then I did the tutorials I mentioned earlier to see if it worked and now I'm in stock 10q
Excuse me Sr @runningnak3d , I have hope to recover my smartphone or can not do anything ???
If you don't have a backup of modemst1 and st2 -- I dunno. If you do, restore them and all will be good.
We really need a sticky around here that says: "BACKUP YOUR EFS!"

I'm not sure why ROM builders are including firmware. Having the modem out of sync with the rest of the firmware *usually* won't hurt anything, but when it does -- better have a full backup.

You can fix this if you can get access to dumps from another phone. The problem is, this is exactly what you don't want to share.
If you search the V20 subreddit, some idiot posted theirs as a "fix" for this problem. You can either follow the post and -- well -- I am not sure what will happen when everyone has the same IMEI, or you can use those files to fix yours.

Hi!
Do you have the update file for version 910r too? I just got my V20 yesterday, and don't want to go beyond the r update as I heard some root/unbrand features will be locked with version 910u.
The phone unlock for all carriers will remain intact if I update, I assume? Thanks in advance.

Haven't heard of 10u "locking" down the phone and it doesn't have anti rollback so you can easily revert. If you want 10r runningnak3d posted a flashable 10r zip somewhere. Use the search button

All right you losers and screwups! Everyone who sucked hard at rooting has reason to rejoice!
Soft-bricking your phone may have been the best thing to happen to you.
Luck smiles on the unfortunate and the stupid today!
Use a download manager to get these files, and check the MD5 of your downloaded file against AndroidFileHost.
Here's the latest rooted version from @diedemus
Here's the original rooted image for the H810PRa-310-410.
Know what you are doing before attempting to flash these files! Flashing the H810PR firmware is done mostly as a last resort for people who have bootlooping AT&T H810s.
Read all the instructions carefully, then follow the instructions in the root thread 1 through 6, except ignore the parts in step 4 where it mentions tar.gz and the filename since you have a rar file and already had to extract the image file from it and rename it to system.img.
You'll see that we have a different command to flash the H810PR compared to what was used on the H810. Here is the code to copy and paste at the # prompt in the command window:
Code:
dd if=/data/media/0/system.img bs=8192 seek=55296 count=529920 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0
Paste the above code in the command window, then hit enter and pucker your butt.
Wait for the # prompt to reappear.
Type LEAVE and hit enter.
Prepare to crap your pants again or savor the sweet taste of victory!
Good luck!
Feel free to ask questions, but try searching for an answer first please. XDA is loaded with information, but it's squirreled away deep in various threads. Learning to search XDA is a valuable skill. Even if you don't find an answer to your specific question, you'll learn something anyway.
H810PR is much better IMO than stock AT&T except for the danger of the green blob in the camera. There's hardly any bloat (like 100 less packages on the phone, seriously!), and no CarrierIQ to have to bother disabling. All the stuff AT&T broke is working too.
Cons so far:
Big ol' green dot in the camera. I wouldn't flash this rom unless I had to because of this issue.
No VoLte (voice over LTE). The phone drops to 3G in phone calls. Follow this post to enable LTE outside of a voice call.
Voicemail settings are grayed out. To set up, put your SIM in another phone or call ATT.
Editing options in camera are overwhelming! There's too many things you can change!
Pros:
The phone comes with very little bloat. There's a huge difference in the number of packages, like 100 less.
The stuff AT&T removed or broke is not broke.
Editing options in camera are amazing! There's so many things you can change!
No CarrierIQ
Here's my H810 repository on Androidfilehost if you're looking for other H810 files.
This is pretty sweet! I always wanted to post in the dev folder, and make a reserve post. Not that I really did anything worthy of it, but I'm leaving the post here anyway.

The main reason we're using it is because we soft bricked our phones and it was the only solution at the time. I've uploaded rooted images of H81010b and H81010g so we could go back to AT&T (I don't know why I keep thinking this is possible, it isn't, bootloader is flashed by the KDZ and not compatible with the ATT versions anymore), but I'm going to stick it out on this image for awhile.
I'm keeping an updated list of the pros and cons in the OP.

I ran Debloater and blocked around 98 packages when I was on the AT&T H81010e non-root image. The phone was pretty fast, but something had a memory leak and I'd have to reboot it every morning. This image hasn't had that problem yet, but I've only been using it for a couple of days.
You might want to wait a little while for the people who had to use it to discover any more downsides. I think it'll be easy to switch back to an AT&T image, but I'm not 100% sure because I haven't tested it yet. (not possible till there's a TOT.)
In any case, I think it's a good idea to follow the instructions in the original root thread to extract an image of your working phone, name it something you'll remember, and keep it on the internal storage as an emergency recovery image.
Totes mah gotes. Thanks man.
Anyone that's on this Firmware having issues with voicemail? I can't seem to get google voice to work and when people call my regular voicemail it is saying i'm not available. I've tried entering the code into the dialer and i'm getting an error saying connection error or wrong MMI code.
I went into the forwarding settings in the phone and entered my GV # and received unexpected error from network.

Are you saying the rootedsystem.img can be applied to ZV9? The "[ROOT] LG G FLEX 2 ..." thread hasn't been updated to include this ver so I'm skeptical. Would love to hear from those who've had some success since I'm still evaluating whether I want to keep this thing or not. The sprint bloatware installed upon activation is almost too much to bare.

There is a ZV9 rootedsystem.img and its there if you look for it.
I was talking about getting back to stock (I made a thread where there's all the sys images from ZV6 to ZV9 pure stock).

I have stock backups using flashfire..
But the baseband issue come from flashing a gsm rom or a aosp rom. Im not sure witch efs partition is radio only but i have them backed up.. If you look for my guide on how to manually program this will get those items to come back without flashing radios.
Flash my stock rom or the one from dirty santa..
Then follow the instructions to get to manual program. Youll need to go to sprint.com and get ur msl or ask care and say you need it to do a full reset using ##786# / you may also need to flash a asop rom again and toggle your network mode back to rusim or ull have to use cdma workshop to change.
As well as for your msid so you can program it.
The nam config got changed from rium to nv only and breaks ur efs connection. The prl probably is 162 also on your phone so you'll need to grab the latea 56021 prl also to flash.
Theres a ton of good info on that post and the adjoining one to it for fixing this issue.
Id need assistance in what parts of my efs backup i can use as parts contain my imei and msid etc and will booloader brick your device trying to restore my esn as well as error code my device for being cloned.

I'm not working on root for zv6.
I want to preface this with the fact that I don't own the LS997 model, so I was not able to test any of this personally.
You guys can thank @loopytee for taking one for the team. Root for the LS997 can now be accomplished on firmware up to and including ZV7. He risked his phone since we couldn't find someone that had root already to help. Luckily it paid off. You guys need to hit his thanks button as much as possible. Takes some kahunas to blind flash another model's firmware.
ZV8 incremented the ARB version, so this will not work on ZV8 and up.
With that said...
Download patched LG UP: link
Download VS995 KDZ: link
Flash using partition DL (select ALL partitions)
Root using the VS995 root method: link
At this point you will have root, but you will still have the Verizon firmware.
Download this zip: link SHA1 hash: b5a383558561425a41439de1b764e286f963526a
and flash it in TWRP. This is the ZV7 firmware. It is everything except system. If someone can get me the stock ZV7 system, I will include it.
After flashing, you need to flash an LS997 ROM, and if you don't want static, flash one of the custom kernels that has the static issue fixed.
Also, before leaving TWRP, you need to FORMAT data. NOT wipe. You will be prompted to type YES if you have chose the correct option. If you skip this, you will be prompted to enter a code, and have 10 tries.
Feel free to flash any LOS based ROM, but know that they don't work well with ZV7 firmware. They make modifications to the writable parts of the modem firmware (modemst1, st2, or misc), and you can lose signal. So, you also might want to use LG UP to dump your entire phone so that you have those parts of the firmware that are unique to your phone, and can flash them back if you have problems. My recommendation, stay away from LOS based ROMs until someone steps up to be a full time dedicated dev for LOS on the V20.

The apk in the first post of the link below can get you into the hidden menu on ls997 to check ARB# if needed.

Wow this is a game changer ... thank you @runningnak3d for an amazing job!! I can finally go back to this phone now. I really missed the quad DAC and wide angle cam.
Will wait til you fix this but what an accomplishment if this really works.
OK - first post updated.
@loopytee The zip problem has been fixed!

@runningnak3d
it's running great thanks for everything I can now use my v20 the way I want to. You're the best!
This is awesome!
Under the assumption I'll brick if on ZVA though or simply won't do anything...
If you are on ZVA (or any later version), LG UP (even the patched version) will halt when it does the anti-rollback check. So yea -- just won't work.

You guys rock ... I traded in my V20 for my S8, but I'm going to pick it up again as my alternate beater up phone. I just avoided this for the LG/Sprint bloatware and inability to use hotspot. Well, no more

What is the latest current version? Still ZVA?

Make sure when you get it to go into developer mode immediately and turn off auto update. If it updates you can't root...YET.
If I am wrong, someone with a Sprint phone can chime in, but I believe ZVA is the latest. I have a dump of ZVA, but since it is ARB 1, even though you would keep TWRP and root, you DO NOT want to upgrade to it.
As long as you are on a firmware that is ARB 0, then you can use the VS995 KDZ to fix your phone if you really get into a bind. If you flashed the ZVA firmware and got into a pickle, you would only be able to use a KDZ that was ARB 1, and NONE of them are rootable, so you would have a phone that would boot, but not be able to make phone calls, and no way to fix that.

Any chance of a roll back to zv9 from zva
Nope. It is my humble opinion that ARB is something that can not be defeated without a physical modification to the phone -- a piece of hardware between the NAND and the CPU that would intercept the boot process from the PBL and give it the return values that it is looking for.
Alternatively, if we could either burn a new RSA key into the CPU, or extract the existing one, and brute force the RSA cert, so that we could sign our own XBL...

So ZV9 was ARB 0, but ZVA included an update to the ARB version? I wish I knew what was up. Would of never updated. Just thought it was a monthly security patch from Google anyways
I'm getting the anti-rollback error when trying to flash the kdz with the patched LGUP. Can someone help me out and let me know what I'm doing wrong here. I'm on v8 firmware.
@shane2157 Use the hidden menu APK and check what ARB version your phone is on.
That is strange.

Right. I'm in the hidden menu. I just can't find the ARB version in there.

I had 10ulm and flashed it with the G710AWM and now every time I boot my phone i get:
WARNING: Current version is not available for user. Can't find matched carrier. Check NT-code: FFFFFF : 84
The phone works fine since it was unlocked, but I am getting a ton of calls go straight to voicemail and this may be the issue? How can I fix this?
any help appreciated. Thanks
also wifi calling is nowhere to be found under call settings. It seems like I don't have the setting on this version? thoughts
Don't bother pal, stick with the official rom, I had this same issue best option is to just stick with the same variant as your phone, might not be latest but it works good. FYI I have g710emw and was using g710em rom

You are probably right. What a pain to have to flash again and go back?
How are you guys backing up so that you just restore to the same phone you had without having to set up everything again?

I didn't restore, I tried out the rom first, and then just wiped it. What broke it for me was the wifi mac address somehow became lost while using it, maybe some software glitch only by flashing the same variant was I able to restore it.
Best to root and then backup and restore

Hey there, how do you do this KDZ with refurbish option? Will this mean flashing again anyways?
I was hoping that by now the official android 10 version from LG would be out for the unlocked 10ulm, but it seems that they will never update this phone for some reason. This was the Google Fi unlocked G7.
Suggestions please. Thanks

Thanks for replying.
I noticed you are the leader of the other thread I posted, so I will ask here so not to bug you too much
Will the choosing of refurbish option erase the serial or IMEI or anything else that I should be aware of?
Also, when you say flash again you mean using the canadian version correct? I was wondering about the Korean version vs the canadian and what advantage would there be in any.
If you could, please lead me to the instructions to flash again. When I did it, I used a guide from some dude on youtube and I can't find that again.
Also, read somewhere that the error at boot could be fixed by rooting and then changing something with the explorer app. Not sure if that is worth it. I just hate backing up and restoring to find I am logged out of most every app and all settings have to be set up again. It takes me hrs and I am not that technically savvy as you guys.
Thanks for your time and have a good evening.

Flash with the kdz you used before, Canadian firmware is better than Korean. In lgup select refurbish instead of partition dl. It won't tamper with your IMEI and you will loose all your data
Hi dapolicy,
I am done with the LG G7ULM since it will never be updated officially.
I really like having the fingerprint sensor on the back and it seems that the LG G8 is the last iteration of phones from LG with this feature and it is an upgrade from the G7.
It is cheap here in the US.
Which version of this phone should I look for? I will be using it on Mint Mobile, so an unlocked one sounds great and all, but then you see what happened to the G7 ULM that never got android 10 unless it was tied to a carrier.
So, what do you suggest I do so I can get the next couple of updates for android with the G8?
Thanks man!

If the firehose was available for the Wing/Velvet you can hex the FTM and fix the NT Code on the Wing. You can try the engineering service menu, but I highly doubt the IMPL is 0 under MID.
